(The pharmacist) refused to hear or accept that a warehouse refill error could have been made.
(The pharmacist) was unaware of any e-mail address for the pharmacy.
(The pharmacist) also refused to acknowledge or accept that earlier versions of Manerix could have been made differently or carry other symptoms from each other.
(The pharmacist) insisted that the HEADACHE must be the cause of a heart attack, stroke, or some medical condition (for TWO+ days !!)
He advised that I contact my doctor to find the cause of the headache.
He would NOT contact the supplier without a LOT number which he insisted was on the box ... none was found on the latest box, or any previous box, or any plastic prescription bottles/labels, unless it was under the label applied by the pharmacy.
It finally came to my limited pharmacist involvement that most pharmacists are TECHICIANS, not professionals.
They BELIEVE whatever is written, fill orders accurately, deliver. A Professional could and would do more ..
They could offer Cautions about taking the medicine, offer a paper copy of a drug monograph, Listen to your concerns.
I have only found ONE, out of DOZENS in more than 60 years who ever did, across more than 3 provinces in Canada.

I later found the LOT number on the metallic push-through inserts that contained the pills.
I had NOT kept earlier spent inserts.
I was Guided that it was best to contact the potential suppliers directly.

Where Significant Side Effects have been experienced they have both been CONSISTENT for that FORM, and, different from those of a different form.
I had NEW and Significant side effects to the most recent FORM, so I requested the earlier, and now much more expensive form, which had fewer and less debilitating side effects. After at least 6 refills with the next older form, the recent refill gave me symptoms IDENTICAL to those of a much older variation.
I attempted to have my pharmacist contact you to determine if an accident had been made in filling the request .. such as, the next last formulation supply had been depleted and the refill had been extracted from remaining OLD stock that provided the same SYMPTOMS. These SYMPTOMS, a Very Severe HEADACHE for 2 days or more when first taken were IMMEDIATE, within an hour of taking the first dose, remained as long as in the much older variation, and there was NO other contributing factors.
I did not have a heart attack that lasted for 2 days .. I am still alive.
I did not have a stroke that lasted for 2 days ... nothing has become paralyzed.
I did not make any sudden changes in my diet or lifestyle that might have resulted in this SPECIFIC symptom.
I am contacting you first to determine if this can be resolved as a simple order filling accident, or, if I am just best to send this info to the

As I presently have 2 FORMS of Manerix which give me drastically different and debilitating symptoms and have not taken any for 10 days (recovery and assembling the data) I would appreciate a call and e-mail back ASAP.
Anyone can make a mistake ... in a rush, distracted, confused, fatigued, poorly trained or supervised.
Yet, if the REAL problem is one of theft .. which is difficult to confirm due to a lack of secure bookkeeping noting stock balances and formulation batches .. these may be NO definitive answer. Giving neither ANY response nor making a corrective stock adjustment is simply making a strong assertion that the client/patient is expected to evaporate if one ignores them, or, that everyone is afraid to ask the executive for authorization to replace the contaminated shipment.

The 2 are synonymous with one being the common name and the other the usual pharma name .. always with both on the prescription and box/jar.

My Health Risk is increasing and we seem to be slowly going around in circles repeating what has already been submitted in my attachment! I am sharing the questions and REALITY to the concerns expressed by my pharmacist so she may step PAST these. NOT being aware of the both the Common, and Pharmaceutical names of the drugs they sell, or even that such exists ... suggests incompetency is the agent or her training.

My refill was on April 23 .. haven't taken since, supposed to take daily, response by days end is urgent.
I noted that my request was simple in that a check of their Security for Order filling, and for Shipping could possibly confirm if my prescription had been accidentaly filled from OLDER stock.
Could they confirm to my pharmacy that the pharmacy would be credited for another refill, a new order would be sent to them, and they could deliver it to me, no charge?
NASSIMEH confirmed that she would send me an e-mail before the end of her shift (9:00 pm) even though she might not hear back from the other department by then.
To delay an URGENT request because one is unaware of the syntax of one of the most significant identifiers of THEIR drugs, a DIN number, is almost a Dramatic disappointment. And while she PROMISED to send me some form of communication by day's end .. NOE arrived over the next 3 DAYS .. so I called them.

Initially, I requested that my Pharmacist contact the drug supplier and ask if they could determine if the refill drug variation could have been taken from an EARLIER variation stock by accident .. which could account for the Extreme difference suddenly, in symptoms. Perhaps they could provide the pharmacy, and myself, with a replacement quantity at no additional cost. The pharmacist REFUSED to ASK the supplier this question and attempted to provide EXCUSES for the symptoms while denying ALL of the responses from my 20 years pf contact with the drug. For him, pharmaceutical experimenters, compilers, government regulators, drug providers and their staff, and doctors and pharmacists were PERFECT and NEVER made any mistakes .. so I was the Problem.
Next, I contacted several possible or likely providers.
I noted my experience, concerns, provided them with my ATTACHMENT, and asked them the Questions I had requested the pharmacist to ask them. I received my Tainted REFILL of Manerix on April 23. I took ONE dose, experienced the INTENSE side effects within minutes and continuously for more than 2 DAYS, took several days to recover from them WITHOUT further use of the Manerix, assembled info into the ATTACHMENT, contacted the pharmacy, contacted the supplier .. and at over 20 DAYS delay regarding a drug I am to take a HIGH dose of DAILY ... I have NO RESPONSE of IF or WHEN anyone will make one or several short phonecalls to get a potentially Life Saving answer from some corporate authority. Illnesses requiring drugs in order to be controlled and coped with do NOT take holidays! Without the substances KNOWN to restrain them, they have every opportunity and ENCOURAGEMENT to proliferate and intensify further.
This is yet ANOTHER example of how the POLICY of Alberta Health Services (and many other provincial systems) is to NOT offer means for MEDICAL Recovery or Health Enhancement but to simply fraudulently provide media exaggerations of positive intentions while making it easiest for patients to become temporarily or permanently DISABLED, with the truism that "A DEAD Patient is the cheapest and easiest to serve."

Near 1994, while working as a Security Officer for a private security company, I was tasked with singly providing security against utilities failure and attempted break-and-enter theft of chemicals and consumer products storage at a closed manufacturing facility (pending its liquidation in a bankruptcy legal case). While doing my rounds, I noticed Material Safety Data Sheets being available for each of the chemical base materials. I noticed the extensiveness and potential accident prevention and toxicity avoidance importance of the monographs.

During the late 1990s, while researching and being open to RECOVERY possibilities for Testicular Cancer, which my physician advised would be fatal within the bureaucratic delays of Urologists (in the province of Ontario) and that I should consider any other approaches, I encountered the posted online comments of an American patient who introduced me to the reality of Drug Monographs. She noted that she took control of her health, successfully, by ALWAYS requesting such monographs to any drug prescribed for her, and, obtaining more than one physician diagnosis when a possible error in assessment was suggested. In some provinces, like British Columbia, the only physician available to a patient is the one who is accepting new patients within a specific home region. I have requested a Drug Monograph for every new-to-me prescribed drug since the late 1990s, especially after several previously prescribed drugs resulted in almost immediate Life Threatening Side Effects .. which the physician, in every situation, seemed unconcerned about. I quit the TOXIN, and found ways to survive, and often, to return to work helping others.
In my almost 80 years of exposure to health services, physicians, specialists, and surgeons .. plus many pharmacists .. I have only encountered ONE person who provided me with a Drug Monograph and ANY verbal cautions on the use of a drug. In ALL other situations since the late 1990s, I have never used more than several drugs at any one time, and then, only for as long as they provided a benefit. I have SPECIFICALLY requested a copy of the Drug Monograph from pharmacists, both in hospitals and retail stores. On occasion, I have provided same to a few physicians who by their statements and actions were unaware of the contents, or even that such documents existed! What benefit are drug database advisories and monographs if NOBODY (physician, surgeon, specialist, patient) ever reads them .. or is even aware that they exist.
According to MEDICALLY released statistics, tens of THOUSANDS of patients die every YEAR in Canada from either faulty prescriptions and misdiagnoses, or, mistakes in the way the drugs are taken. This number has steadily INCREASED over the past DECADE. With a population of 10 times that of Canada, the statistics for the USA for these cases of MEDICALLY induced drug homicides is in the HUNDREDS of Thousands per year. Well, I have been told by physicians and specialists for 40 years that I am about to die .. because they were too unprofessional and lazy to actually make an effort to EXPAND their knowledge and skills. Why make the effort, they can hold the prestigious title and reap the high income for being a technician and following the MINIMUM standards .. diagnose and prescribe within 10 minutes for a complete stranger, and, NEVER ask for a medical history, and, ignore all patient feedback .. except for the First Symptom they mention.
As I was saying .. Everybody dies, and I will also someday ... but I have arranged for an autopsy and a Class Action Suit to bring some REALITY to Canadians .. so like government ministers, they can go to other countries for their urgent healthcare while they still have Savings. I could have had the surgeries required to RECOVER from 2 significant diseases, acquired 8 and 5 years ago, that have been treated in Europe, for full immediate recoveries, for over 20 YEARS .. if I hadn't spent my Savings waiting and encouraging Canadian doctors to do SOMETHING!
Something for you to look forward to:
You, your spouse, one or more of your children relatives, friends, associates .. or some combination thereof .. will eventually face the same .. unnecessary Disability and medical homicide .. and you won't be able to say that you didn't see it coming.
Beyond receiving from some government offices an automatic reply stating that SOMONE would followup with me .. NONE did. Not even ONE word! Government employment does not produce much SERVICE.

LAURA had called requesting the full LOT - Batch number, again.
I reviewed the LOT number with her and affirmed that it was NOT on the box, but on the inner metallic tablet slides.
She noted that the feedback she had received was that there had been NO changes recently in the formulation of Manerix or in the packaging of the box.
I noted that I had been taking Manerix for over 20 years witha number of formulation changes happening, and with greatly different Side Effects for each formulation. I had been taking the present DIN formulation for at least 6 refills with consistent Symptoms, as usual, until, the last refill. It had provided Significant Side Effects IDENTICAL to a formulation I had not taken in at least 6 or 8 years, and, inconsistent with the symptoms consisstent with recent refills.
I noted that if there had not been changes recently in the formulation or the packaging, then an employee must be stealing from the company and replacing the DIN version I ordered with a much earlier formulation and selling the more recent form on the blackmarket. IF they had Safety-Security measures in the Warehouse and shipping areas, this kind of contamination could have been discovered and confirmed within MINUTES.
I also said that if I did NOT receive some form of acknowledgement and confirmation about the CREDIT requested for the pharmacy and a resolution of the problem TODAY, I would find it necessary to contact the RCMP to investigate and they would find the culprit by searching the e-mail and bak records of all employees ... and that this was NOT a threat but a Fact, like my contacting them directly when the pharmacist refused to.
I emphasized, again, that this, for me, was URGENT and that the persons at Bausch did NOT appear to be responding to it so or the situation could have been resolved in a few HOURS and not remain outstanding for MANY days!
NO RESPONSE was received in over 24 hours so it was time to progress to Law Enforcement .. before I was DEAD!

This is an URGENT Query to the R.C.M.P. regarding relevant department and contacts regarding what may be Pharmaceutical theft and black marketing of drugs from a major Canadian manufacturer and distributor. Initially, I would be best to be informed if the R.C.M.P. is the authorized institution to investigate and prosecute such crimes, and, if not, who/what is.

My QUERY to the pharmacy, and then to the manufacturer-distributor was whether the recently received prescription refill could have been misfiled from a Very Old discontinued batch, by accident, and if they would credit my pharmacist with a hopefully uncontaminated refill and rush it to me. Actions and responses from them have been SLOW, confused, and are beginning to suggest that if they drag this on long enough, I will die .. problem solved and remaining hidden.

According to the direction I received both online and via the phone, the R.C.M.P is a cross-Canada policig institution divided up into dozens of small region detachments each of which works ONLY within its jealously guarded boundaries to solve only very localized crimes, that have happened. I had forgotten several very old experiences in which I had observed that the R.C.M.P. could not investigate or prevent an intended and planned arson, rape, spousal beating, or murder ... only a crime which was done and complete!

I explained that I was calling to determine if CSIS could address my concerns, or, if he was aware of any Canadian organization which would have jurisdiction. I noted that I was in Lethbridge, Alberta and that the drug provider-distributor was in Laval, Quebec and Vaughan, Ontario. I noted also that I had compiled extensive information and offered it to the pharmacist, the Customer Service department of the Distributor -- Bausch Medical Information (supplied), the Canada Vigilance Program (supplied), the RCMP, the Alberta Minister of Health, the Alberta Premier's office, and now, CSIS. NONE either responded, or, provided excuses and promises which were irrelevant or NEVER followed up.
His best suggestion from CSIS was that I contact a lawyer and/or journalist who might have an interest in pursuing the situation further.
I reiterated that this began as what I thought was a possible ERROR in filling the refill by the Distributor .. which an adequate Security-Safety program could confirm or deny and resolve within HOURS. That was April 23. The pharmacist refused to contact the distributor, so I contacted their Customer Service-Adverse Effects department directly. They took DAYS to respond to ask simple questions, like Lot Number of the batch and DIN number .. which I had already provided them in the overview I had constructed and e-mailed to them. More days went by before I was given the explanation-excuse that the drug had not been reforulated recently nor the packaging redesigned. These were IRRELEVANT as the variation of the drug I had been using, at ADDED expense for me, was NOT the most recent one as it had provided High Toxic side effects. This was clearly defined and described in the initial data I had sent to them. ...
Across the R.C.M.P. and C.S.I.S. personnel answering the phones were unaware of ANY policing - law- security organization in Canada that was responsible for peace and security across provincial and detachment boundaries. And, they made NO EFFORT to ask anyone else on staff if they might know of such a group or WHO might.

This involves a Drug (Manerix) that I have taken for much of the past 25 years during which it has been reformulated at least 4 times, with a new DIN number each time and completedly different Side Effects. I have received NO followup, verbal or by e-mail, since Tuesday May 14th .. today is Friday, May 17th. I had suggested to the Adverse Side Effects agent that with the delays it was beginning to look like there was a possibility that an EMPLOYEE of the distributor or manufacturer had INTENTIONALLY switched old versions of the drug with newere ones and taken the newer ones to sell on the black market for personal gain. If Safety-Security measures were NOT in use, this would have been EASY and difficult to detect. Patients could DIE and their death would be excused as a willful or accidental overdose on their part, or, an unusual and extreme Side Effects symptom. Still NO response .. so I contacted the RCMP, and later, CSIS .. only to discover that the RCMP diminish their authority to SMALL detachment areas with NO provision to work with other offices which may be in other provinces, or, over the hill. My contact at CSIS confirmed that they are NOT an enforcement service and that he had no jurisdictional knowledge of ANY Canadian law enforcement service.
It has become clear now why MEDICAL statistics for Canada have reported over 10,000 DEATHS annually from the use of prescription drugs .. with NO effort apparently being made to resolve or diminish these numbers. I am embarrassed, as a Canadian, to find that the characterizations of the Canadian legal system by friends outside Canada consider it to be "CANADA .. an Organized Crime Haven, and,
USA ... a Crime Enterprise opportunity .. for those willing to BUY justice.
I could send you, or someone with Authority, the data I have ... but not just to flutter in the wind as they fall into the Discard bin.
Fortunately, I know my adversary, the parasite - toxin which is now considered, by the non-North American SCIENTIFIC world to be influencing the health of a BILLION persons and to be considered as HIGH in its rate of fatality. This communication received from your Department CONFIRMS why THOUSANDS of Canadians die every year from prescription errors, and, why NOTHING will continue to be done to lessen those statistics. The existence of Health Canada is a fraud since all health matters are constitutionally the responsibility of each Province. I was seeking a SIMPLE answer to the legitimacy of a filling of a prescription which can be Life Saving, to me, and possibly others, within as little as 24 hours.
It has taken 6 WEEKS for you to contact me and request information which was included in a fully detailed outline of the situation weeks ago. If I were waiting for a response from your department before proceeding I would be DEAD, the Medical Examination would be complete, and I would be buried by the time your department likely responded that they were LOST and could not do anything. Why should I complete and submit a FORM which does NOT even address the original Significant problem? I found a NON-Medical solution to my MEDICAL problem through PERSONAL effort and reserech. Few others will be as successful.
But then, THAT is what this is all about:
How can we quietly murder through denial, confusion, and excuses .. as many patients as possibly

My efforts throughout all of these communications has been to resolve what for me was a life threatening experience of having received a critical prescription drug refill whose side effects HIGHLY questioned its safety, legality, and, accuracy. I asked for direct feedback from the pharmacist, manufacturer and distributor as to whether they could and would check their records and quickly confirm if a refilling error had been made. If an organization has safety and customer feedback records that follow inventory and shipping procedures this can be done in a matter of minutes or hours. A failure to do this suggests that no one is maintaining such records, or, that a possible intentional error was done with the stock that would suggest a legal problem involving black market sales of the drug.
Requesting acknowledgement from or redirection to an authority which could investigate and prosecute interprovincial theft or some form of illegal tampering with a drug was directed to a number of major regulatory and legal organizations. NONE either made any effort to find such an organization, to refer to one that they were aware of, or, to accept the responsibility themselves. At best, I was redirected to organizations which directly had no such authority, to services which at best would make a record of my concerns and archive them without any investigation, or, would express bureaucratic and political well intentions that they clearly did not support with action. NONE made ANY attempt to resolve the Significant questions I advanced.
For a REALITY in which an answer of benefit would be required within 48 hours, it took some organizations more then 70 DAYS to respond with platitudes, no action, and no benefit. Had I waited for such non replies, I would have been dead ... which confirms the suspicion that the intent of the medical and political services is that in non-routine requests, for the patient to die leaving the questions unanswered and of no further urgency or demand for attention. Fortunately, for me, I found a redirection and beneficial answers through a non-medical and non-governmental source. Most other Canadians would not access such a resource. Most other Canadians, confirmed by the deaths of patients dying from misused or misprescribed drugs is in the annual tens of thousands ... for just blindly following the government sanctioned experts.
Top priorities and mandates are useless if they only support long and complicated regulations and forms available only through extremely long URLs, which indicates that no member of the public will ever personally find or access them. Verification that non-compliance to some form of quality standard for large quantities of a drug would be irrelevant for this case in which small quantities of verified previous versions of the drug had been discontinued. Also, product recalls, advisories and safety alerts for what might be selective, personal tampering with drugs which were supposed to have been discontinued and discarded from stock earlier, or, were switched with such illegitimate drug lots so as to be sold illegally .. is also irrelevant.
Repeatedly misspelling my name, present in the in-document e-mail headings, serves to confirm that the respondents are simply going through accepted routines and template structures with no real conscious involvement or concern. Monitoring the safety of medicines available on the Canadian market without spot checks, inventory control requirements, response to patient concerns, and, with neither enforcement nor legal consequences simply bolsters the employment of bureaucratic academics who have neither customer service skills nor responsibilities nor genuine human empathy.
