A Spiritually-Guided Perspective.
Justice: health, integrity, responsibility.
There are many examples of men and women who have acted responsibly and with integrity to carry out their jobs in such a manner as to benefit others --- persons who were ignored, denied, abused, persecuted, attacked, and even killed.
Categories where some of these have disappeared into are these:
- prophets and mystics rejected by their own society,
- routinely or vengefully sent to the Russian internment work camps;
- imprisoned in prisoner of war (POW) camps of any war;
- gypsies, chronically ill, Jews, and the poor starved and gassed;
- tortured because of their political beliefs and personal integrity;
- made poor by the defrauding and lying of others; and,
- made homeless due to the greed, paranoia, projection, or personal intolerances of others.
Society pays dearly for their loss with increases in government bureaucracy, inefficiency, and bribery; with increased apathy and negativity and defensiveness amongst the citizenry. As the righteous have disappeared, so their society has lost their potential of benefit: creativity, innovativeness, integrity, peacefulness, efficiency.
Those who victimize the innocent are spiritual criminals who use the power of society, the same society which gave them energy blocks, poor coping skills, destructive imprinting, and encouragement through bureaucratic denial and institutional philosophical complexity. Society is composed of the citizens who politically are responsible to, and for, the laws and values (norms) that to provide order, peace and freedom. Yet history shows that the larger the society, the larger the abuses of justice.
The truly just, creative, spiritually-oriented, and compassionate are eventually minimized behind an ever emerging self-obsessed horde who only care for what they believe they will get out of their actions in the short-term. Fear turns persons into robots and pride turns people into controllers. The perfect machine emerges, a leader with many followers: totalitarianism, oligarchy, militarism, genocide. No conflict, much power, no spirit: lives of quiet desperation beating a path along to oblivion, bulldozing away all those who could bring them into touch with reality.
Three local, recent examples.
ONE
Shiv Chopra, worked for the Canadian Federal government for decades to test the healthful safety of products for consumers. He expressed concerns often, most of which were ignored, with the outcome resulting in damage to members of the public.
Basu Bose, of Concord, Ontario, wrote to the Toronto Star newspaper and in his letter of acknowledgement, printed on Sunday, August 26, 2001, he mentions:
"We salute Chopra for his courage and the long and determined fight to seek justice and truth. No matter what the price in his personal and professional lives he has been "a leader of truth and integrity,' as quoted by (Valerie) Lawton.
Most people in his shoes are submissive or don't bother to fight or do it for a limited time or despair at the first sign of a setback or protracted delays. ...
The public service is financed by all taxpayers. The Prime Minister should make clear that there is no room for overt or covert racial prejudice to stonewall professional and hardworking people ....
TWO
Murray McQuigge, a medical officer of health for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound Health Unit, was the first person to alert the public and issue a boil-water advisory during the bacterial outbreak in the Walkerton, Ontario water in May of 2000. By the time the disaster of personal incompetence and political pride and authoritarianism ended, seven people were dead and 2,300 had been ill. The action of Mr. McQuigge saved hundreds of lives. Taken at odds with other authorities, some of whom later sought to discredit him, --- led to him having to defend himself in a court of inquiry.
Earl Cherniak, his lawyer, described in a Globe and Mail newspaper, August 23, 2001, article by Darren Yourk ...
... the personal attacks on his client went well beyond what will prove helpful in the judge's final report. They came from "those who barely and weakly tried to justify their own conduct on the basis of a lack of training, experience and reliance on others."
Mr. Cherniak acknowledged that Dr. McQuigge is "an outspoken, in-your-face individual," but he argued that these qualities make a good medical officer of health."
"When Dr. McQuigge said that this tragedy could have been prevented, he was right then on the facts as he knew them, .. and he was more right than he knew, given the revelations of this inquiry."
THREE
James Nelson, a chef who lived in Stratford, Ontario, was subjected to an ordeal of more than five years with 1,047 days being spent in a penitentiary on the charges of sexual assault, unlawful confinement and threatening to kill. At the time of his trial his alibi evidence of being at home with his wife and his alibi witnesses were discarded by the Ontario Court Judge Hugh Fraser due to the persuasive "acting" of the female claimant.
Convicted on September 15, 1999, of charges accusing him of incidents on February 28, 1996, he was acquitted by the Ontario Court of Appeal on August 23, 2001, after a hearing that lasted less than five minutes.
Harold Levy, Staff Reported, in a Toronto Star, August 24, 2001 article set out some of the new evidence presented to the Court of Appeal:
... reports prepared by the Ottawa Carleton regional police force.
One report, relating to a group home the woman worked with, said she was emotionally volatile, sought to be the centre of attention and was involved in a variety of inappropriate behaviors, including consumption of narcotics and sexual interaction with male clients. A related document indicates that she was overheard saying 'All men are pigs and should be treated as such.'
The "fresh evidence" material also indicated that on July 26, 2000, the woman received a six-month conditional sentence for falsely charging a man with sexual assault and other serious criminal offences.
In that case, the trial judge found that the man had an "airtight alibi" and that the woman was not a "believable or a credible witness."
The woman "resorted to a number of tactics while testifying," Ontario Court Judge Jack Nadelle ruled. "She at times cried at strategic moments. At other times she was quite combative. At other times, outrage, and at times (she) resorted to sarcasm when cross-examined by the crown."
A document filed by (Todd) Ducharme (Nelson's lawyer) indicated that on March 23, 1999, charges of sexual assault and assault bodily harm, resulting from the woman's complaint against another individual were "stayed" at the request of the crown.
James Nelson sought to reinstate his integrity in the society which had persecuted him. After his sentence was finished, he chose to return to court ...
"I came here so that people would know that I told the truth from day one, and that I was an innocent man. I didn't want to be the convicted man that I was."
The constructive contributions of James Nelson to society, as a spouse, father, chef, relative and friend to many other, taxpayer --- were not only withdrawn for lost and twisted for five years. He will now have to reconnect and rebuild wherever and whenever he is allowed to. And what of the many whom the system, in its injustice, turns into future spiritual criminals --- taking from others what has been taken from them, or, standing by and allowing others to suffer as they have for fear of involvement?
James Nelson is the winner for he never gave up on himself. He eventually proved his innocence with the help of others who themselves believe in justice and truth. The losers are the woman accuser, who has further discredited herself, the state - which has further diminished the confidence the people have in it, you and I, the citizens - for allowing abusiveness to contaminate the lives of many because we allowed lies, deception, manipulation, paranoia, intellectualism, and projection --- to make fools of us.
In my own case ---
What of my two EXAMPLES?
While the examples are from a Canadian Province, the legal complexity, detail, structure, formality, and injustice ... is common to most legal systems.
- Tenancy Rights (Ontario);
Who won? My landlord-client, or me?
She won getting me out of her house and out of the lives of her friends, employees, and relatives. She won not having me continue to provide further Balancing Therapy to many of those whom she had introduced me to.
That includes her emotionally fragile daughter who could become much more stable by getting rid of more energy blocks.
That includes a son of her second husband's second wife who will likely have to go to a drug rehab center for at least 3 months, or worse, because his sessions were interrupted.
That includes the mother of the above teenage boy.
Her last session was interrupted near its end and she would have been more assured of building a new and highly pleasing life with another session.
That includes the president of her company, who had a way to go before stabilizing his relationships and his career, although he had made some progress on improving his health.
That includes her brother and members of his dysfunctional family, which could have been withheld from highly potential nervous breakdowns.
That includes her nephew who has just married for the first time in his mid-40's, after getting rid of many energy blocks, but, whose marriage may not go well if he does not rid himself of more detractors.
It also includes his mother who can't progress with her life because her blocks force her to stash tons of "extras" everywhere while she lives destitute.
And others.
And for herself.
She no longer has truth, openness, honesty, and encouragement around her. She has kept what she has always had and built, deception, appearances, materialism, power. She no longer has a source of rent which was 3 times what she originally requested. She no longer has a source of Spiritual Guidance to assist her company to survive, to assist her health to improve, to assist her spiritual development, to assist those she would like to be close to.
And what has happened to me from HER choices, and, my following Spiritual Guidance? I was offered a place to move to as a perfect office several days before I began moving. When I was forced to move, the new landlord allowed me to live on the premises temporarily in a very contented setting. I was immediately surrounded by positive and supportive people and away from the growing intensity of negativity which pervaded my previous residence and contaminated everyone who came there.
I succeeded in my Rent Tribunal case in determining what the law was and not wasting my time on a hearing that would simply result in the complaint being dismissed because the "rental" was not covered by the law of the Act! I began to get new clients immediately and several that I communicated with at a distance took much of my time for awhile. Another client took advantage of the Spiritual Guidance I could make available to him to aid his business. I obtained free Internet and telephone service.
I was Spiritually Guided to write this and other new articles to assist you and other, and, to finally spell-check the entire website, plus, add more content to some pages that I had not previously had time to complete. And, at just the right time, I obtained a part-time evening job practically across the street to provide me with a minimal base income while I was doing a great amount of website programming without pay.
I completed a course in Qi Gong and am going through a course to reacquaint myself with Tai-Chi, this time from a spiritual perspective. Also, from the day that I finished moving, I have not had to continually, or even minimally, protect my spirit from negativity around me --- for those persons who radiated negativity are no longer near me.
Each of them were offered assistance 3 times.
Each declined or failed to respond. They were never turned away. Others have benefited. I will soon take advantage of an opportunity in another country, and, their option for more assistance from me will be ended --- their choice to exclude me; the choice of others to invite me: JUSTICE.
Justice follows from following Spiritual Guidance.
Justice does mean that if you turn away goodness, don't expect it to arrive when you want it. You invite into your life most of what you get: Opportunities or difficulties? Others DO influence your life. You DO influence the lives of others. When the influence is positive, you both win. When it is negative, they, or their ancestors will regret it --- for what they could have had, but threw away. And, if the error is on your part, you will lose the benefit of their feedback for reality testing and motivation through your combined teamwork and companionship.
THE REALITY:
You, or they, can define whether you win or lose by the perspective, behavior, and actions you choose and follow, AND, what your Energy Blocks allow you to make. Which option you choose will decide the quality, longevity, breadth, and constructiveness of that justice.
With Energy Blocks you are always a loser.
It is just a matter of degree. Without a strong self-awareness and self-discipline, you are just a loose cannon waiting to be manipulated by others as they twist and pivot you to THEIR choice of YOUR reactions.
I chose to get rid of my blocks and make my own decisions.
I never made a willing slave, robot, or failure. I know that by choosing Guidance, I always succeed. The path is easier for you IF you choose it. I may not be the best example, but I have found and set out a path that ALWAYS works if you are ready for it. I have shown that it can be followed and is practical and knowable. That is better than what I started with.
If you choose a Spiritual Perspective, you will use the constructive coping skills you have developed out of a choice of such a direction to AVOID incidents of injustice through acknowledgement, assertiveness, openness, honesty, humility, forgiveness, empathy, compassion. A better world is NOT the responsibility or the capability of the Law. Nor can anyone else make it for you or bring it to you. A better world ... begins with each of us. YOUR POTENTIAL is an important part of that answer and that Reality.
What of my second EXAMPLE?
While the examples are from a Canadian Province, the legal complexity, detail, structure, formality, and injustice ... is common to most legal systems.
- Defamation and LIBEL (Ontario).
The conventional approach would be for me to sue my adversary.
I would retain an expensive lawyer to make out a mountain of forms to submit to the legal system. My opponent would retain herself a law firm which would do the same for her, in an attempted defense. After several years and much money, we might end up in a court. Each legal team would attempt to use loopholes and weaknesses and particulars of the law to extend the pre-trial delays, show their expertise, and raise the costs.
Conventional Judgement:
One outcome could be indecisiveness.
After each of our sides presented 10 to 30 witnesses, with extensive examination and cross-examination, there would be a judgement.
Perhaps the case would be thrown out because of a paperwork error, procedural error, one side running out of money, one side walking away in disgust, death or illness of either party or of a witness, presumption on the part of the judge, lack of unity in the jury, changes in the law, or other factor.
A second option would be total vindication of myself, the claimant, and a judgement of financial penalty against my abuser. She could, of course declare bankruptcy at that point and pay nothing --- equalling no penalty for her, but, resolution for me with large indebtedness. I would have bought fairness. She would have bought injustice, empowering her to repeat the crime on someone else, or freely use as a threat. Insinuations and threats seem to work often in our non-assertive society.
There is always a third option, as a minimum.
Depending upon your degree of analysis, there could be a range of unequal wins and losses through the trial. Which legal team wins which procedural advantages? Which legal team makes a bigger fool of how many of the opposition's witnesses than the other? Which adversary copes best with the stress and on how many of the days? How quickly is the case dismissed or how long can it be stretched into? Whose health suffers more? Whose public image fares better in the media? Whose business suffers more? Whose family suffers more? The variables are many. Few are positive for either party.
The Spiritual Approach would be for me to follow Spiritual Guidance.
I would ask for Guidance as to which actions to take and when. By carrying out the direction, the outcome would show the meaning of the direction, NOT the meaning intended serving to justify the actions. The person who has chosen to be an adversary of myself and Spiritual Guidance would be unknowing and incredulous of my actions and most likely project her negative intent upon those actions she became aware of. Her pride would produce self-denial and positive authority. She would boldly spread her venom to taint those around her until they left, or, became sickened by it.
Spiritual Judgement:
One outcome could be decisiveness.
Following Spiritual Guidance, I always know what I should be doing and when. The activities just seem to move into place. As one is completed, the next one comes into sight. There is a total lack of anxiety. Since I followed Guidance into and through the incidents, I am assured that I have done my best with the resources available to me. Thus, I have a reality tested confidence of knowing the truth of my actions and my intents and the truth of the actions and intents of the person who has chosen to abuse me ... her real influence on my reality. My protagonist doesn't know what the reality is. Justice?
Awareness, understanding and compassion have been generated by my decisiveness. My original spiritual perspective, the nature of the Guidance received and the actions of my protagonist --- have led me to produce a number of articles to that end. By following the Guidance, the articles have been researched with resources I was Guided to. The articles have been structured and worded with Guidance.
By being the vessel to receive, I have gained an expanded awareness. I now have the joy of knowing where I have been, why I was there, what it means, and the tragedy of the patterns involved to the lives of others. It is from this grief of wasted energies that motivates me to share this experience with others so that they may be spared it. Understanding is an important step to prevention. So, I share what I have received. This brings me much joy. Justice?
A second option is total indictment of my protagonist.
My actions have proven my positive attitude, spiritual perspective, and humility. I did not choose to strike back with projected and exaggerated public accusations. I remained calm. I remained focused on my work and those who wanted my services. I was assertive in stating what the truth was and acknowledging the requests of my protagonist openly. I invited interaction honestly and offered services sincerely. I invited discussion and resolution. I sought to understand rather than to victimize. Everyone involved knows this. Justice?
My protagonist chose to freely express her evil.
She has clearly exposed her true self and weaknesses to her daughter, her business partner and staff, her cousin and nephew, to friends, to her parents, to herself. Within the space of a few days, she has shown her untrustworthiness, inability to control her Projectiveness, personality weakness of vengeance, Ego weakness of self-centeredness, and spiritual rejection of God and Guidance. This "change" all began when she affirmed that she did NOT want to receive any more Guidance, free or paid for. That included her not developing the abilities for her own direct access to Guidance. Justice?
My protagonist has convinced all of those around her of her guilt.
They may be too afraid, too passive, too apathetic, or too dependent to provide her with the reality check of honest feedback, but in their hearts they know that something is not right. How can someone with the references which I have spanning 30 years, and with the benefits that I provided to them personally, --- suddenly become so terribly bad as she must have painted for them from her imagination? And yet others I am working with during the period of conflict and since, find me to be the same kind of person that others have always found me to be. They must deal with the confusion and anxiety of the lack of consistency. And, THEIR shame for their complicity. Justice?
By Choosing to daily follow Spiritual Guidance and remain true to a Spiritual Perspective, I have used the intervening time to enjoy life, as my Basic Personality can best do --- researching, publishing, assisting others to improve their health and lives, taking action for justice, being an individualist, pursuing spirituality, continually experiencing reverence, enjoying many small things. As my protagonist has forced the knowledge of her inner self on those around her, I have continued to reveal my inner self through my actions, attitude, and spirit. Justice?
There is always a third option, as a minimum.
Depending upon your acceptance of a spiritual perspective, there would be an exaggerated set of wins for the person who chooses to follow Spiritual Guidance and who has developed the skills to enable and assist in following a Spiritual Perspective --- through the trial of challenge and response.
Differences abound between the Spiritual Approach to Justice and the conventional materialistic legalistic approach.
- Persons following Guidance ALWAYS win;
- Guided actions are direct, immediate, cost relevant;
- No waiting, no anxiety, no confusion, no foolishness of pride;
- God is ALWAYS with you, by your side, never abandons, never denies;
- The block-free spiritually guided person ALWAYS copes optimally;
- Public image is as fickle as the awareness of the believer;
- Ultimately, you are responsible for what you do.
The Winner is God, neither I nor my protagonist.
Without God's Guidance, I would never have had the confidence, patience, and humility to remain centered. Without God's Guidance, I would never have discovered the passages and the references which revealed the meaning of the dynamic I found myself immersed in.
Without Guidance, I would not have found the opportunities which produced the office space, residency, part-time employment, and new clients that I did. Without Guidance, I would not have known what to do and when --- from nutrition, to supplements, to walks, to rest, to extremes of work --- to maintain health and a high level of productivity. I chose to team with God.
YOU, the reader of this article have a potential to win.
By following Guidance I have written this and other articles which are on the Earthtym.net site to assist your awareness and understanding --- empowerment. I have something to share with you which can make you stronger and hopefully prepare you better for the future. Reality can be discouraging sometimes because it brings problems to light.
A problem you know of, you have the choice to understand, resolve, prevent. A hidden problem may be more comforting in that you can remain ignorant of it, falsely optimistic, and lazy. Eventually, it will threaten to destroy you. The shock will build new energy blocks for you. You choices will diminish further and the fog covering reality will thicken. Your choice, freedom, or, dependency?
I have given the protagonist a potential to win.
The reality of this article and the others on the site dealing with the challenges raised by her and the clientele she exposed me to cannot be denied. There is a potential for 600 million persons (2001) to access my site at any time. My site is guaranteed to be available for the next 6 to 10 years. Perhaps a billion people will have Internet access before that period expires. Her example and that of her contacts will empower others through their successes and motivate them through their failures.
Pride loves fame.
Pride is shown when we know everything so we don't have to ask. Proud persons don't ask you for feedback. Proud people know what you are thinking. Pride judges and convicts and applauds you on what it thinks you are thinking. It knows your intentions because someone the proud person respects, for their social or money power, has told him or her so. The proud person likes attention so they wear pretty clothing, drive big cars, go on expensive holidays, eat expensive food, talk sophisticatedly, and smile --- before they stab you in the back --- and then say you did it to yourself. The proud person must be the center of their universe, their own god.
Proud people often have to gossip.
I have not put the names of the protagonists in the text for spiritually it serves no purpose. If they were demonstrating maturity, self-control, positive coping skills, an ability to understand and follow a spiritual perspective and Spiritual Guidance --- they might be worthy of mention by name as mentors. But they have nothing to offer you.
They still have too much to find and get, for and within themselves, before they will be able to SHARE. More energy blocks to release. More skills to develop. They know who they are. They know the description here is of them. They will broadcast their selfishness to the world themselves, with their negativity. The only question is: "Who will be the first to implicate their friends in public?"
Their actions have bought them fame, or infamy.
Justice?
REALITY is the world as you find it, as others influence it, and, as you contribute to it. If you deny, persecute, and fail to support those who choose to follow a Spiritual Perspective and Spiritual Guidance, then you choose to delay their mission --- which is to assist others in improving humanity. You are then responsible for the injury, harm, pain, depression, violence, and sickness that surrounds you and impacts on you and others. If you re not helping to reduce those, you are an accomplice in their spread and growth in intensity.
YOUR CHOICES have contributed to bringing you to YOUR Present. You are either part of the problems that anger and frustrate you, or, you choose to be part of the solution. God has always wanted for humanity to live in physical, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual contentment and harmony. It is we who have denied and continue to deny God and choose to do it OUR way. Pick up any newspaper on any day and you will see how well we compare to God, and how much we deny the Guidance God offers. Choices. Make them wisely. They contribute to the future we will call REALITY, tomorrow.
DEFAMATION and LIBEL:
By allowing others to be spiritually abused, we sanction malicious gossip, lies, and defamation. If you so encourage the act, do not complain when it becomes used against you. You can protect yourself.
- Request and follow Spiritual Guidance;
- Become aware of a Spiritual Perspective;
- Learn to strengthen and protect your Spirit;
- Release your Energy Blocks;
- Learn and practice Assertiveness;
- Request Feedback and Listen to it;
- Choose to be Humble and Sharing;
- Be skeptical of what you have not personally seen or experienced and seek confirmation.
This is a microcosm, a small picture and example of the larger example which keeps coming back to human history in the form of bullies, gang wars, feuds, pograms, genecide, terrorism, war. If we keep doing the same thing, we will keep getting the same result.
The TRAGEDY is that this pattern need never have happened and that it is preventable. It happened because most people have energy blocks which make them robots of destructive coping habits. Some cultures traumatize their newborns into building severe energy blocks before the age of 1 year through coercive childcare practices. Most people in structured societies with capital based economies have been imprinted with poor communication skills and low self-esteem. Our media and politicians are quick in a crisis to feed on negativity to persuade the audience to get involved. With such trauma inducing reporting and inflamed rhetoric it is easy to control the masses. You just point them in the direction you want and pull the trigger.
TERRORISM cannot happen if you don't support it.
If you are not working with awareness to PREVENT it, you are aiding in its spread with your complacency. Parents and cultures teach violence, fear, and authority as coping skills from birth. A 4-year-old at the laundomat the other evening was given money by his mother to play a videogame, so she could ignore him. He rejoiced loudly with every "I killed him" while the mother oblivious to the "training" her son was receiving read her magazine.
Those who turned their back on me and joined the mob were not that different from those who rushed for war duty, or became SS officers for honor, or death camp administrators for acceptance. They were simply taking the easy way out of a conflict situation which someone else had engaged them in. They did not volunteer. Neither were they strong enough to walk away or search for the truth in fear of abandonment and ostracism themselves.
Can you escape the tragedy?
The tragedy in the involvement of those who aided the protagonist above is their blocks and their imprinting. Their spiritual weakness has entrapped them in infamy, forever! They can never undo what they have done. Like it or not, that IS reality. Forgiveness would allow them another opportunity, but forgiveness is meaningless if given to those who don't want it and are insincere.
Forgiveness is only relevant if the person is aware of their wrong, understands the negative influence of it, is humble enough to openly admit it, and --- out of a desire to be a winner --- wants to change, rather than repeat. What would it take for you to hold the noose? What would it take for you to stand up for truth and justice AGAINST those you would hope were your friends or associates?
Stop evil by not participating in it, not encouraging it, and by promoting understanding, respect, self-awareness, empathy, and compassion. Love is the water which can wear away the rock and free the inner spirit.
