Limonene is a colorless liquid hydrocarbon classified as a cyclic terpene.
The more common D-isomer possesses a strong smell of oranges.
It is used in chemical synthesis as a precursor to carvone and as a renewables-based solvent in cleaning products.
The less common L-isomer is found in mint oils and has a piney, turpentine-like odor.

Limonene takes its name from the lemon, as the rind of the lemon, like other citrus fruits, contains considerable amounts of this compound, which contributes to their odor.

Limonene is a chiral molecule, and biological sources produce one enantiomer: the principal industrial source, citrus fruit, contains D-limonene ((+)-limonene), which is the (R)-enantiomer. Racemic limonene is known as dipentene.

D-Limonene is obtained commercially from citrus fruits through two primary methods: centrifugal separation or steam distillation.

Uses
Limonene is common in cosmetic products.

As the main odor constituent of citrus (plant family Rutaceae), d-limonene is used in food manufacturing and some medicines, e.g. as a flavoring to mask the bitter taste of alkaloids, and as a fragrance in perfumery, aftershave lotions, bath products, and other such products that include fragrance.

d-Limonene is also used as botanical insecticide.
d-Limonene is used in the organic herbicide "Avenger."

It is added to cleaning products, such as hand cleansers to give a lemon-orange fragrance (see orange oil) and for its ability to dissolve oils. In contrast, l-limonene has a piney, turpentine-like odor.

Limonene is used as a solvent for cleaning purposes, such as the removal of oil from machine parts, as it is produced from a renewable source (citrus oil, as a byproduct of orange juice manufacture).

It is used as a paint stripper and is also useful as a fragrant alternative to turpentine.

Limonene is also used as a solvent in some model airplane glues and as a constituent in some paints.

All-natural commercial air fresheners, with air propellants, containing limonene are used by philatelists to remove self-adhesive postage stamps from envelope paper.

Limonene is also used as a solvent for filament-fused 3D printing.
Printers can print the plastic of choice for the model, but erect supports and binders from HIPS, a polystyrene plastic that is easily soluble in limonene.

As it is combustible, limonene has also been considered as a biofuel.

In preparing tissues for histology or histopathology, d-limonene is often used as a less toxic substitute for xylene when clearing dehydrated specimens. Clearing agents are liquids miscible with alcohols (such as ethanol or isopropanol) and with melted paraffin wax, in which specimens are embedded to facilitate cutting of thin sections for microscopy.

In traditional medicine, d-limonene is marketed to relieve gastroesophageal reflux disease and heartburn.

It showed anti-inflammatory, wound healing and anticancer effects in laboratory studies.

D-limonene was shown to alter the signaling pathways within cancer cells in a way that stops cancer cells from multiplying and causes their death (this is called “apoptosis”).

In animal models, D-limonene slowed the growth of pancreatic, stomach, colon, skin, and liver cancers.

Abstract
D-limonene is one of the most common terpenes in nature.
It is a major constituent in several citrus oils (orange, lemon, mandarin, lime, and grapefruit).
D-limonene is listed in the Code of Federal Regulations as generally recognized as safe (GRAS) for a flavoring agent and can be found in common food items such as fruit juices, soft drinks, baked goods, ice cream, and pudding.

D-limonene is considered to have fairly low toxicity.

Gallstone Dissolution
In vitro, d-limonene dissolved human gallstones within two hours.
In animals, infusion of d-limonene into the gallbladder dissolved and disintegrated gallstones, which were excreted through the common bile duct. In patients post gallstone surgery, infusion of 20 mL d-limonene every other day dissolved gallstones overlooked during surgery. In some patients gallstone dissolution occurred after only three infusions.

A study with 200 patients reported a direct infusion of 20-30 mL d-limonene (97% solution) completely or partially dissolved gallstones in 141 patients. Stones completely dissolved in 96 cases (48%); partial dissolution was observed in 29 cases (14.5%); and in 16 cases (8%) complete dissolution was achieved with the inclusion of hexamethaphosphate (HMP), a chelating agent that can dissolve bilirubin calcium stones. All the stones were between 0.5 and 1.5 cm with an average diameter of 1.0 cm. The duration of the treatment ranged from three weeks to four months.

Gastroesophageal Reflux
D-limonene has been shown to be effective in relieving occasional heartburn and gastroesophageal reflux disorder (GERD).

Health Canada has ordered Orange TKO Industries (International) Inc. to recall and stop the sale in Canada of "Orange TKO Super Concentrated All Purpose Cleaner". This product does not meet the labelling and child-resistant packaging requirements for consumer chemical products that are established in regulations under the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA).

This product contains a level of D-limonene that can pose a danger to human health, especially to children, if aspiration occurs.

D-limonene is extracted from citrus fruit (such as orange peel), and is commonly used as an ingredient in cleaners and other household chemical products to provide a citrus smell.

Aspiration occurs when the product is coughed up or vomited after being ingested.
This coughing/vomiting causes small particles of the product to travel into the lungs and may result in severe health effects including pulmonary injury, chemical pneumonia or death.

If you experience an adverse reaction related to "Orange TKO Super Concentrated All Purpose Cleaner", or any other consumer product, report it to Health Canada as well as to the establishment where the product or service was purchased.

What a wonderful letter! I thank you sincerely for taking the time to write it and send it to our government.
We are now allowed to sell Orange TKO again, providing that the label includes a rather large skull and crossbones symbol, along with the words, "danger" and "poison"... It seems a bit preposterous to me that the juice from orange peels must be labeled as such, while chemical bleach is simply labeled "caution: irritant", with no hazard symbol at all. Looking at the labels, a person would be led to believe that bleach is safer than Orange TKO!!

Orange TKO remains in Canada, however it has been basically bankrupted by the actions of Health Canada.
Product had to be taken out of every store in the country, who all wanted refunds, of course. Orange TKO could have just complied with Health Canada's demands to label the product as a poison, and replace all the product in the stores with product labeled as such, but it was felt that this would be a complete misrepresentation of the product. Basically, Health Canada wrongly applied regulations to Orange TKO that would be applied to petrochemical hydrocarbons such as benzene.

Orange TKO filed suit against Health Canada in the Federal Court.
So many documents in support of the safety of d'limonene were provided to Health Canada, but they refused to acknowledge them.
Orange TKO's expert witness, a Board Certified Medical Pathologist from California, spoke to the scientist whose report the regulations applied to Orange TKO were based upon, and even the scientist himself said that the regulations were never meant to be applied to a natural hydrocarbon such as d'limonene. However, given the financial position of Orange TKO, they cannot afford to continue the suit against Health Canada ... So the label indicating that Orange TKO is a poison will have to remain on the bottle.

As you mentioned in your letter, there is also much evidence of the health properties of d'limonene, such as it being chemopreventive, as well as the benefits to the gastrointestinal system. A report on the safety of d'limonene by the World Health Organization specifically states that "it is interesting to note that d'limonene has been fed to humans in order to successfully dissolve cholesterol gallstones".

Thank you again for taking the time to submit a letter to our government regarding the safety of Orange TKO, and d'limonene in general. Perhaps one day the issue can be resolved, with the help of health conscious Canadians such as yourself!

Dear Mr. Sennett,

Thank you for your correspondence dated January 17, 2018, addressed to the Honourable Ginette Petitpas-Taylor, Minister of Health, concerning a consumer chemical cleaning product by Orange TKO Industries. I have been asked to respond on the Minister’s behalf.

All chemical substances, whether natural or man-made, have the potential to cause harm to humans.
The Government of Canada is committed to helping maintain and improve the health of Canadians. In support of this mandate, Health Canada’s Consumer Product Safety Program (CPSP) administers and enforces the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA) and the regulations made under its authority.

In Canada, safe packaging and labelling of consumer chemical products is established in the Consumer Chemicals and Containers Regulations, 2001 (CCCR, 2001) under the CCPSA. These regulations address acute (short-term) exposure situations, which can include the requirement for hazard symbol(s) and warning statements in both official languages. In certain circumstances, the package must also be child resistant.

All consumer products, even “green” products including the consumer chemical you reference, must meet all of the requirements of applicable regulations in order to be sold in Canada. The Orange TKO Industries (International) Inc. products that Health Canada reviewed were cleaners and not therapeutic products. Therefore, they are required to meet the requirements of the CCPSA and the CCCR, 2001 in order to be sold in Canada. These products contain a level of d-limonene that can be hazardous, especially to children if aspiration occurs. Aspiration occurs when the product is coughed up or vomited after being ingested. This coughing/vomiting causes small particles of the product to travel into the lungs and may result in severe health effects including pulmonary injury, chemical pneumonia or death. This is a different route of exposure to a chemical product than ingestion. The extremely concentrated nature of the product makes aspiration much more likely.

At the time the warnings to Canadians were posted on the Healthy Canadians website, the requirements for labelling and child-resistant packaging for this product were not met. It is Health Canada’s policy to leave all recalls and safety alerts on the Healthy Canadians website in case a consumer still has a non-compliant version in their home. Provided that these legislated requirements are met, the product can be sold in Canada. Please contact the manufacturer to determine if these products are available on the marketplace in your area.

You mentioned use of limonene as a supplement for health purposes.
Health Canada has determined that d-limonene is acceptable for use as a non-medicinal ingredient in natural health products (NHPs) as a fragrance ingredient or solvent in topical products, and as a flavouring agent in oral products. However, d-limonene has not been approved for use in any health products in a medicinal role or for a therapeutic purpose. The above Comment-Feedback-Request was e-mailed to a formal PMO government address, in addition to the other itemized private and public service organizations.

Undeliverable:
If an e-mail address has been changed, its hosting has been expired, or, receipt of the e-mail has been denied by an erroneous coding on the website ... Internet e-mail technology sends an automatic technical reply to the sender indicating that the e-mail could not be delivered, and, that attempts to do so will continue for a specified number of hours or days. The "error" response will also include detail indicating at which point in the transfer difficulties were encountered. If this routine does not happen, the e-mail has been delivered. As there was no automated error reply, the e-mail sent WAS delivered to the Prime Minister of Canada's office on January 17, 2018.

There are a number of common justifications for NOT communicating, particularly in the offices of government support staff, politicians, corporate executives, and, persons experiencing considerable media criticism. These are, unfortunately, often typical across many bureaucracies inclusive of all polititical systems. An assertive, constructive, responsible, and, professional response would be to at least send a BRIEF acknowledgement that the e-mail has been received and will be responded to within a specified period of time. This is often sent within hours to less than a week of the arrival of the e-mail. NO acknowledgement has yet been received. (2018-05)

1. Robot Technology:
   Many popular e-mail programs either automatically assign exclusion parameters to automatically transfer selected mail to a SPAM folder, or, the recipient can indicate their own desired "filters" for the program to act on. Common settings, for as long as a decade or more now, include trashing any e-mail that has any of the following in the Subject line:
   • ALL Capitals (considered to be "shouting," "rage," or hyper-sales).
   • Emphatic sales words ... sale, special, urgent, offer, limited, "!", multiple markings or repeated words such as "!!!"
   • Any swear words, threat phrases, racist remarks, ...
   • Comments that are overly intimate ... "Darling," "My Love," "My Hero," ....
   • Words which someone has deemed connected with terrorism ... "production," "bomb," "kill," "disaster."
   
   

2. Bureaucratic Policies:
   When assistants, support staff, or department managers are tasked with replying to e-mails received for a government Minister or a corporate Executive, it is relevant to note that they are frequently challenged to answer questions about which they have NO authority to modify policy, may have no knowledge of a policy (or, there may not yet be a policy ... static response), may be given the Responsibility ... yet, will receive full credit for ANY communication which infers that those with Authority have said or taken a position unpopular to the letter writer. Staff, most often, take employment positions because they seek enough income to sustain themselves and their family.

   Keeping their job conveys a sense of security and encourages one to make longer-term financially dependent plans and commitments (like a marriage, mortgage, consumer debt, ...) which if interrupted can result in a multitude of employment, social, and personal experiences of shame, guilt, rejection. Employees prefer to keep their jobs. With their material obligations, one is often morally sabotaged to placate their employer (both the institution and the paymaster-manager) or incur a perceived significant Risk. If one is unsure of the attitude of one's boss to an answer of the "Truth" (as one knows it from experience, training, or, research) ... NO REPLY is better than inviting a disaster. The e-mail becomes quietly lost, discarded, ignored.
   
   

3. Consensus:
   "Truth" is often dependent upon the awareness and perception of the one espousing it.
   Projected rationalizations of what one "thinks" the answer is, AND, what one expects the answer to be based on imprinted socialization, education, heresay, and experience ... are both, common responses, and, usually bot inaccurrate and wrong on most levels. Authoritarian policies, principle, and ideals may be the best option known and available at the time of decision and addition into the statis religion-like rules and regulations, but, life is dynamic. Relevancy ... what is efficient, effective, compassionate, possible ... for TODAY may not be the robotic sanctioned response indicated in the legislation, party platform, corporate practice. In highly organized and dense populations, the common understanding and awareness of the masses is often at odds with the reality.

   A consensus is NOT an indicator of Truth, Accuracy, Relevancy, or, Safety.
   One may be personally aware of an abuse or irregularity, or, unconsciously sense the immorality of a decision and its resulting action, yet, go with a consensus in Fear of Exclusion, loss of income and reputation, attraction of prejudice, and even loss of life. If the "Truth" you know happens to hold others Responsible for harm, damage, loss, injustice, and, they own your job continuance ... is the Risk of morality and independence worth these potential losses (which you may have seen or heard were imposed on others)? It can be easy to rationalize that if the injustice or abuse is not being imposed on yourself, the fact that it is on others is neither within your authority, or, responsibility. The writer should know the reality of the status quo and not ask for a statement clearly revealing the dirty little secrets attached. Ignorance does NOT require a response.
   
   

4. The Worship of Technical Expertise.
   Throughout the North American educational system students are taught/imprinted with the belief that theorems, algebraic equations, geometry practices, chemistry test interpretations, academic conclusions, sociological projections, technical authority, legal judgements, and so-called scientific findings ... are both accurate, truthful, correct, and, moral. It is somewhat revealing that if one is to discern what the philosophical and historical basis of the scientific method is, one must elect to take an obscure university course which includes such an anomaly of awareness.

   If one does take such a course, one discovers that ALL of the above "results" truthfully represent our human best "GUESS" as of the date of their having been written and first published. With a degree of longer-term experience and awareness ... sometimes requiring interim decades of misapplication and religious-like adherence ... revelations appear to not only bring to light the frauds intentionally perpetrated by "innovative" theoretical founders and distinctive researchers, but that the reverence of the academic community towards these esteemed representatives has resulted in the brainwashing of several generations of university accredited employees in acknowledgement for their servitude to the politically sanctioned system of human short-sightedness and denial.
   
   

   An obvious extension of this into the realm of privacy came to my attention when persons I had hired to work closely with me revealed a great amount of personal detail about themselves in answer to questions that formed part of an Internet application. Much of the information had not been shared with me, who was supposed to be a close and trusted colleague in the work referenced in the online application. The Internet forms were coded and managed by unnamed strangers and the sharing of these personal details with any advertiser with an interest to profiling them and potentially targeting them with deceptive or manipulative data/news was unrestricted, and, NOT made known to the applicant. This was during the late 1990's.

   The forms and the words presented by a technical service with no respect for the privacy of the individual was simply, and willingly, provided with information which could be used in efforts of deception ... because it was requested. In a similar dynamic, it is found within some organizations, of any size and of any contect of responsibility, that the testimony by an "expert" sanctioned by an organization which certifies them in their field on payment of a membership fee and the completion of a course of usually academic only training, or, given authority by a legal or bureaucratic officer whose preferences or awareness they mirror, or, anything in-between. Opportunities for abuse are legion and sometimes, eventually, are revealed after catastrophes refocus concerns of legitimacy on their testimony, report conclusions, or other suggestions of god-like wisdom.
   
   

5. The Powerfilled vs the little people.
   In many human authority systems, the political power of many members or citizens is given over to a leader, manager, supervisor, department head as a manner of political administration. The overt responsibility is for the service provider to respect the member or citizen employers, who collectively pay their income and to whom a series of principles, laws, practices, and instructions are considered to be due. Within the size of the workforce involved, there is a historical tendency for the clerks and officers to both become confident in their practiced routines, and, to begin to discern that certain intellectualized and worded direction fo operations do not fit in full relevancy in accord with the politically expressed intents ... even as they may be written down and sanctioned. Inevitably, management, officers, and clerks begin to infuse "short-cuts", work-arounds, modifications, and "corrections" which increasingly become part of the daily operations and tinge the bureaucracy. These growing forms of individual personalizations of the interpretation and operation of specific instructions add an emotional ownership to the secular duties and offices.

   Cognitive Dissonance is a dynamic which complicates many political relationships.
   It is the separation between the loyalties and allegiances which a member of a team or tribe identifies with, in opposition to the duties and responsibilities which they are legally and professionally mandated to support in favor of a much larger community, district, or nation. Elected officials, particularly in 2nd or 3rd world colonial and young nation economies and countries have sometimes become so morally challenged by decisions they must make that can be in favor of the larger community, yet highly discriminating and sacrificial for those who are members of their personal tribe or community ... that they have committed suicide. Others may become mentally disoriented and slip into insanity, or, fall into one or other addictions (alcohol, drugs, swearing, gambling, prostitution, ...) as a distracting manner of setting aside their moral confusion. If decisions are delayed, postponed, complicated, or, interfered with, the reality of a broken loyalty and a fracture of one's identity is avoided. No decision is a certainty of remaining friends with and supporters of the political empowerment of groups of person of different sizes, powers, demsnds, motivations, and concerns.
   
   

   Deal-making, lobbying, trade-offs, conspiracies, and bribes can all become extensions of edging one power group ahead of another without the "losing" group being able to clearly know that it was you who "negotiated" the outcomes by keeping or maintaining the discussions, debates, and contracts in as confused a state as possible. Perhaps one group of voters has determined that an action or activity is best to occur. They have decided. Yet, they require an administrator to take plans and materials, workers and fuel ... and combine those into a performance outcome. If the administrator, manager, bureaucrat, or politician chooses to "orient" the result they may "interpret" what words and phrases and obligations mean that are crucial to the completion of the construction or the event. How "big" is big? These kinds of negotiations and modifications and twists can have the result ending up without much resemblance to the agreed upon intentions both in shape, quality, and cost. Costs may double or triple as an extension of rationalizations made to cut costs. In some instances, small plan modifications made by hundreds of managers and workers can result in the result becoming a safety hazard that results in many deaths, or, in a structure that provides and opportunity which will never be realized because no attention was given to the reality that ongoing expenses for maintenance and operation would be necessary.

   The Little People, who HAD the Power, and, the Power-filled Persons who HAVE the Choices.
   When the dust of administrative and bureaucratic dynamics settles, APPOINTED authorities take the responsibility for the outcomes of their ELECTED representatives. If the latter want credit for anything, it is the clerks and bureaucrats who will do the work, and/or, inform their temporary directors of that which can be done. While elected authorities can distort decisions and operations for personal benefit of gifts, allowances, appointments, recognition, distractions, paid expenses, composed reports, and other identity perks, so also can individuals effect the same kinds of changes for the same kinds of benefits.

I worked in a Canadian federal government bureaucracy for a time.
I've seen the dynamics of nepotism, favoritism, waste, abuse of authority, lobbying, deferred responsibility, political linguistic conflict, excessive detail, and other forms of bribery and prejudice. When a citizen asks a straight-forward question about the application of regulations and judgements which influence the fair competitiveness and innovation in commerce, and ultimately the safety and security of all citizens, a "No Answer" reply is a confirmation that their critical suspicions are correct. And, when a reply is provided which Avoids answering the specific questions posed, it is a good certainty that the writer is either tactfully and passively acknowledging the Truth of such suspicions, or, that they are ignorant of the reality and have no wish to dip their toes into the swamp and risk the enmity of the alligator that lives there.

The more informed and reflective anthropologists have written for decades that the acquisition of Agricultural techniques by humans became the turning point that divided self-sufficient, population responsible, and cooperative human presence for as long as 2 million years from the co-dependent, population expansive, conflict driven human presence of the more recent 10,000 years. The continuing anthrologogical discovery of 15 failed "civilizations" ... most of which believed they represented the pinacle of human "progress" ... and almost all of which collapsed almost overnight in near oblivion after growth periods averaging 500 largely technology free years ... is about to be refreshed with the most dramatic self-driven disaster yet to be recorded: the extinction of humanity. • a reliance on education (brainwashed imprinting) will make us wiser, but, we become more desperate,

• a reliance on mass media fantasies will prepare us for challenges, but, they bring confidence to our ignorance.

Agriculture, herding, and other industrialized repetitive action involvments brought surpluses as humans adopted the successful patterns of insects. Yet, these activities were bordom producing, subject to the risk of drought and floods, and, required land and resource ownership and enabled class separation of persons. Land and resource ownership restricted the travels and freedoms of those beyond the cloistered communities and seemed to encourage crimes of theft and aggression by those both restricted from their itinerant lifestyles, and, those taunted by the material riches of the commercially enslaved. Protection became necessary for those with surpluses and so part of one's profits were used to create a military and make war.

Hyper-consciousness had befallen humans after that embarked on the industrial road with agriculture.
With this self-obsessed rationalization came a decreasing self-esteem, depression, anxiety, fear, fantasy, projection, paranoia, irreverence, pride, and, greed.

Why human "civilizations" keep destroying themselves, and will now destroy the species.

Human population centers become larger and more dense than their God designed, as an outcome from the bioengineering of well-intentioned, yet spiritually adolescent beings, referred to as "satan" or a "snake" in the Jewish-Christian Old Testament, and many other scriptures. Survival in this unbalanced state then requires a multiplicity of effort demanding and self-degrading dynamics. Creating a food demand beyond what free-form Nature can sustain, Agriculture (plant enslavement) and Herding (animal enslavement) are imposed on the more balanced earlier natural order. Agriculture demands areas protected from both non-contributing human and other lifeform harvesters who would decrease crop yields and possibly destroy potential plant enhanced growth. Yet, herding depends upon the opennness of wide-ranging pasture areas which can be intermittently accessed such that they are not overgrazed into desert-like ecologies. Herding versus agriculture creates a conflict of attitudes, beliefs, practices, and rights. Conflict engenders tribalism, assault, theft, murder, and battles. Attempts to control, limit, and benefit from such conflicts encourages political development, militarism, law, restrictions, taxation, ownership, status, and greed.

Another trend which must attend the above is that of increasing densities of population.
With an increasing population, engendered by an amplified birth rate and constant rutting reality, population excess is bled off into the expansion of territories occupied. With too many children being present to adequately share in the farming resources of land and animals available, conflict arises and some members of the community move away from the conflict to a distance. Overpopulation also creates an environmental psychology dynamic of crowding such that communication styles gravitate towards the authoritarian and interpersonal relationships become increasingly abusive, bullying, jealousy tinged, co-dependent. Spiritual strength characteristics and attitudes of harmony degrade into self-centered individualism and weak self-esteem possessiveness. Survivors tend to become aggressive owners, or, assertive-passive relocators. The latter continually locate to less environmentally and less ecologically pleasant surroundings which require a greater permanence of dwelling and other infrastructure. An increasing demand is placed on the use, and abuse, of material resources.

A Sociopath is an individual who places his own survival, needs, benefits, desires, and security beyond that of all others.
A person who is early traumatized by exposure to significant experiences for which they are neither prepared to cope or have the support of nearby mentors who can assist them in learning to cope ... may forever feel abandoned and threatened. The reactive response to these harsh feelings is to adopt traits of defense, distrust, greed (never enough), anxiety, paranoia, and, irreverence. The latter is a state of disrespect for all other forms of life to the point of objectification of both the animate and inanimate. The sociopath frequently inwardly takes Pride in the distance, emotionally and spiritually, which they maintain from others. The emotional state of many humans between the ages of 2 and 4 years of age is one in which a boundary is not perceived between oneself and others. Mothers, and others, are expected to provide for all of one's needs, immediately. Restraint, delays, and negation encourage the display of violent tantrums of anger and frustration. Sociopaths live out adult-style tantrums which often signal a disrespect for others in the service of oneself.

What does Politics, Bureaucracy, and Commerce historically degrade to?
Now, as of 2018-04, and likely for 6 to 9 months previously, or longer, "Orange TKO Super Concentrated All Purpose Cleaner" has disappeared from the market shelves and a previously available competive product, which I will not identify here (but is obvious in most grocery and hardware stores) has been given an expansive new life. 2. Seek answers with an open, sincere, and humble attitude.
   If you are going to proudly assume that you know what is best, or not best, then don't ask for assistance.
   A few thousand years of human history have increasingly demonstrated that the self-driven aggression and insecure obsessiveness of leaders who have imposed their attitudes grown from personal traumas, abusive experiences and mentoring, and, immature self-focused motivations ... have frequently driven forward mass cultures into ecology destroying Power strategies. Most often, cultural institutions have imprinted their membership with proud histories of themselves physically winning over "opponents" by stealing their lands and crops, destroying their heritage and culture, raping and brutalizing the "losers", contaminating the environment, and, enslaving the conquered within an authoritarian commerce of materialism and disrespect for the Divine, spirituality, and, self-sufficiency.

   This is a legacy of Pride, Deception, and Manipulation.
   The result are governments which have hopelessly indebted their citizens with national debts loads beyond their capability of payment, diminishing soil depths and natural fertility, increasing dependency upon infrastructures designed for the short-term, and, a lifestyle which demands anxiety and fear rather than freedom and equality. The level of health in such wealthy-indebted countries continues to Fall below that of many more minor economies. Your CHOICE is to Risk find what is Best and Truthfully relevant for yourself, or, follow institutionally sanctioned routine directions to an earlier-than-necessary long term of disease, disability, or death.
   
   

3. Recognize that your personal history is unlike that of any other human.
   More than 98% of humans inherit genetic remnants of traumas experienced by their ancestors.
   Without a solid constructive preparation through imprinting and education for conflict and problem resolution, self-acceptance and self-direction, an acknowledgement of the individuality and choices of others, and a respect for the Divine and an awareness of a choice to partner with such an intelligence ... the individual is doomed to develop their own set of trauma-biased addictive attitude self-sabotaging behaviors. These WILL influence one's level of health and one's enjoyment of life.

   These stresses pushing and restraining your level of health will have SOME of the same influences mirrored in one's ancestral relatives, one's cultural heritage, and, both major pre-history species genetic modifications, and, genetic modifications imposed by our human generated GMO changes to our foods and environment. In addition, your personal Fears, Pride, and Immaturity will have dramatized your perceptions into personal traumatic memories, expectations, assumptions, and, reactive behaviors. To find the Best options for yourself, seek to acknowledge those factors common to your historical genetics and integrate them with your personal experiences. When we can reframe the Past into an Understanding of life dynamics, we can take great ownership over our Present and Future ... enhanced, sustained, maintained health.
   
   

4. Employees of institutions are rewarded for their acceptance of, reinforcement of, and unquestioned idolatry of the policies, limits, and procedures mandated by the source of funding and those who manage and manipulate them. Perhaps trained to be professional in attitude, they are quickly remolded into an attitude of a technician .. by their subservient peers, by the threat of career termination, by social prestige of their sanctioned title of authority, by their guaranteed level of income, by their ease in following routine rather than entertaining the challenges of personalized and potential novel problems.

   If you fail to have a routine, simple, commonly treated health difficulty ... do NOT expect the service agent to look beyond appearances or to treat you as they would want to be treated if they were experiencing YOUR difficulties. Acknowledge that it is YOUR political representatives who have created and maintained a health care system which seeks to provide an equal level of minimal personal health support, restricted by political financing which is focused on a positive political appearance which will find them re-elected. You can hope for idiosyncratic personalized attention and health resolution of more complex health matters, or, you can (if you have the financial resources, take a "health vacation" to a foreign country which affords private payment services. Find your own way. Do your own research. Choose your own tests. Find someone whose actions indicate that they sincerely want to help you find a resolution and enhance your health.
   
   

5. Become aware of the Value, and the Deception, of Statistics.
   I was fortunate to take courses in Statistics in both the Psychology and Sociology university curriculum.
   They differed totally from each other and required very different coursework and had very different exams.
   I added to these resources by doing thesis quality projects on Test Construction and an examination of Spurious Reasoning.
   I learned that 80% minimum of reports and test results presented in North American journals, for any field of interest, provide observations and conclusions which are less accurate and less relevant than a blank, nothing. That is, they encourage the acceptance of errors, a mind numbing acceptance of other scientifically fraudulent published reports, and, a further amplification of an authoritarian mindset which is imprinted, to some degree in most educational institutions. Much of the public, including politicians, bureaucrats, technicians, clerks, and, most people working at jobs commonly presumed to be scientific in nature ... are oblivious to the realities of such "discovery reporting." 6. Scientifically ... theories, principles, "laws", and "findings" are no more than human "best guesses."
   The word "science" has a long and developing history of meaning. It is well to remember that the word "awful" once meant "something full of awe." Within much less than 200 years, it became accepted as "something terrible, to be avoided." More recently, the word "gay" was long accepted as meaning "joyful, humorous, playful." Yet within a decade in the mid-to-late 1900s, it became widely accepted as meaning "homosexual." Changes in the meaning and use of words are often forgotten with the presently accepted meaning being assumed by the user to original and permanent.

   A study of Political Linguistics reveals an even more complicating existence for some commonly used words. the word "democracy" is used in Russia and the other states of the former Soviet Union of Socialist Republics .. to headline their form of Communist governing because every citizen casts an equal vote in the election of their politicians. If the campaigning candidate fails to receive a significant portion of the balloting in their favor, another candidate is voted for until the majority signal their acceptance. Yet, "democracy" is used was a very different outcome in the United States of America ... to headline their form of Capitalist governing. In order to "streamline" the voting outcomes and accommodate the governing of many smaller-than-state territories (such as counties, municipalities, etc.) ALL of the votes available for a small region are assigned to the winner of that region. Complicating this procedure for decades has been the practice of Gerrymandering by which the borders of voting regions can be drawn according to the personal requests of the authorities .. often so that voters who consistently vote for one of several parties are grouped, as concentrated as possible. The outcome in territory elections for governors, senators, congressmen, and their president has increasingly resulted in persons being given power who have NOT gained the overall majority of the votes. The political representatives of each of these significantly different political systems categorically declare their system to be totally "democratic" and their opposition to be totally "undemocratic". The mass media and educational systems in each country forcefully imprinted their citizen masses with their politically defined black-white ideology.

   The word "science" and the practices it is applied to have both changed remarkably over the centuries, and, has become politicized, especially in North America and the major commercialized/militarized economies. In its earliest use, the word "science" denoted a "philosophy" ... a love of learning ... in which observations were shared and discussed. With greater institutionalization of "schooling", the word "science" increasingly became applied to conclusions and expectations/assumptions. As communication is always much faster and less personal when it is simplified, fast, and imposed ... what had been an open, flexible, sharing of discoveries became a closed, fixed set of realities gifted by human gods, politically sanctioned authorities who agreed to promote the beliefs structured for them. As industry entered the equation increasingly from the 1500s onward, "science" became the founding blocks on which mechanical and symbolic (corporate) identities were constructed. Beginning in the 1600s and accelerated in the mid 1800s and mid-1900s, the political sanction of banking, lending, and debt financing were increasingly strengthened to support the funding and development of government capitalization, corporate identity, citizen government debt liability, and, armaments. Throughout the latter half of the 1900s, "science" in America became the government funding of university programs to further the development of biowar and psywar efforts. In the corporate world, "science" became the excuse for self- and public manipulation of pharmaceuticals, war technologies, and symbolic financial investments. Science has become a striving exploration to find new ways of constructing and aggregating Power, rather than a relaxed discovery, and, a symbolic tyrant rather than a playful partner.

   
   
   

7. Reward those who choose to sincerely assist you towards maintained or improved health.
   They may be restrained in what they can do by the policies of government regulations and funding or by the guidelines and limitations of their professional association, yet, they may have done as best they can within those to assist you. If you sense that they have, and, they have been open to listening to your concerns ... and you haven't wasted their time with long histories which are irrelevant for them to consider within their indoctrinated time limitations ... then they deserve acknowledgement. If you do not reward those who assist you better than the average, you are encouraging them to downgrade their skills and awareness to the average, or lower.

   Technician attitudes are prevalent where government or other policy limitations financially reward the doctor or therapist only for the minimum in participation. Anything greater or more intensive and sincere is provided without financial benefit by the care giver and may often result in their receiving poor professional reviews from their employer-supervisor for "wasting time." Care givers with technician attitudes are NOT interested in working with you, discount any awareness you may have about your health as either "ignorance" or "paranoia". They are typically only interested in hearing of ONE symptom from you per visit and that they will memory associate with some drug or routine diagnosis. Such "prescriptions" are often inaccurate and result in delayed health enhancement, non-recovery, dramatic destructive responses to inappropriate drugs, repetitive appointments over long durations, chronic illnesses escalating to acute problems, and, death. Their protection legally from responsibility by the institution they work for is mirrored in the periodic expose of doctors who have been "warned" or had their licenses suspended following the maltreatment of dozens of patients. Obviously, the health of the patient is secondary to the political infrastructure. So, avoid and leave the technician attitude doctors and therapist and seek and reward the more professional ones.

   An acknowledgement can be a thoughtful thank-you letter addressed to their office or clinic.
   You may consider posting comments on a blog or on a medical-doctor review site but these will lose any significance of benefit if you fail to mention direct and significant details. These include:

   • What were your symptoms?
   • Did they listen to you, take notes, and encourage you?
   • How persistent were they in seeking a diagnosis supported by tests?
   • What was your outcome, after what duration of care, and with what degree of complications?
   • Did they suggest that other specific modalities might better resolve your problems?

   In most situations, avoid mentioning any personality clashes ... they often reveal more about you than about the other person.

   While in-person comments can be beneficial, they are very short-term as most practitioners must learn to set aside the details of their last patient/client on their departure so that they may be more open and focused on the ills of their next subject. Verbal comments are often quickly lost.
   
   

8. With the Genetic Modification of our tissues a potential reality for each of us since our governments have allowed desperate (competitive) and obsessive (Profit by any means) commercial symbolic identities (companies) to contaminate our foods and change their life structure ... YOUR body tissues may reflect changes which require seemingly contradictory-to-common-knowledge diet needs, and, avoidance. As is relevant in most cases, research findings and general as well as professional sources of information are, at best, GUIDELINES. Some of the findings will be applicable to you consistently, others may apply for short durations or periodically, still others will never apply and can harm your health. As your tissue genetics may change with exposure to manipulated foods, the diet which is most healthful for you may also dramatically change from time to time. This may present a necessary tolerance and respect for spouses, other family members, friends, or strangers ... for whom a diet greatly different from your own complicates preparing shared meals. This dynamic has been made to be increasingly a part of reality by our proud contamination of plant and animal genetics. This will only worsen. It cannot be reversed.
