Dental Amalgam Cautions

INCIDENCE:
Dental mercury-silver amalgam fillings increasingly contribute to the risk of chronic illness incidence in North America. WHY?

    FACTORS
  1. Most European countries have banned their use.
  2. Scientific studies have requested bans since 1920s.
  3. The poor, elderly, and fixed income avoid dental expense.
  4. Mercury amalgams encourage periodontal disease.
  5. Amalgam manufacturers finance dental journals.
  6. Dental amalgams are safe only for 7 years on average.
  7. Mercury gas encourages destructive bacteria & fungi.
  8. Organ functions are depressed by the presence of mercury.
  9. Symptoms of mercury poisoning mirror many organ diseases.
  10. Mercury poisoning is seldom diagnosed before autopsy.
  11. Mercury gas absorbs readily through skin & tissue.
  12. Chronic fatigue, depression, pain, hormonal disruptions.
