Potential Environmental Illness Symptoms.

Chronic long-term illnesses are personal --
they are tailored to your genetic and self-experience.

What are "Symptoms" ?

BODY DESENSITIZATION and denial of feelings is common now in North American cultures. Illness and relationship failure frequencies confirm it. Either is often only acknowledged when feelings of ill health become dramatic. This state is the legacy of the industrialized, institutionalized, politicized parts of the world ... so-called "developed".

SYMPTOMS, is a term so applied to feedback we receive from our selves. Symptoms warn us when we have lost control of our health and need an attention getting signal. We often refer to symptoms as feelings, behaviors, reactions, and changes which we do not like or want. The symptoms we most notice interrupt our usual outward physical concerns at inopportune times. They frustrate our Ego.

REMEMBER THIS:
The longer we ignore and deny the requirements of our body, the louder and more intense it will respond to get our attention.

SYMPTOMS LIST:
Consider the following:

  • our bodies respond to all they can be aware of;
  • usually we are too Ego-consciously busy to be aware of this;
  • biofeedback tests show that every human body can detect changes in
    • temperature;
    • humidity;
    • atmospheric pressure;
    • water depth pressure;
    • internal nutritional imbalances;
    • chemical toxin presence;
    • challenge by bacteria, virus, prions, other parasites;
    • magnetic field strength;
    • nuclear radiation emissions;
    • cosmic radiation intensity;
    • and more!

  • we use singular words to describe many variations:
    Example: HEADACHE
        1. dull headache;
        2. pressure headache;
        3. sinus headache;
        4. migraine headache;
        5. distant headache;
        6. splitting headache;
        7. sudden headache;
        8. forehead pain;
        9. left side-of-head ache;
        10. right side-of-head ache;
        11. cluster headache;
        12. hangover;
        13. tension headache;
        14. sex-related headache;
        15. and, more.

  • we define our symptoms to others with these generalizations;
  • individual generalizations apply to a wide variety of influences;
  • any action taken to reduce the symptom reduces our Ego concern;
  • a reduced Ego frustration and concern temporarily relaxes the body;
  • a relaxed body displays a lower intensity of symptoms (gone?);
  • chronic (repetitive) symptoms indicate that ---
    • we are not listening to our bodies;
    • we are only covering up the causes with sense-dulling medications;
    • we are only temporarily assisting our body in staying healthy;
    • we do acknowledge the importance of our bodies to our successes;
    • we allow our Ego, Superego, Personality and Unconscious to abuse our body;
  • without our body, we are nothing on the Earth;
  • we do not respect our body.

WE HAVE FORGOTTEN what the most "primitive" of human band organizations have always known.
Most living things remain healthy when they are subjected to a minimum of negative stress ... dramatic, confusing, frustrating, coercive, traumatic, unprepared-for activity and change.

SURVIVAL is often easiest for most living things when they are subjected to a maximum of positive stress ... gentle, prepared-for, anticipated, invited, appreciated regular activity and change. The options are NOT only fight (aggressiveness) or flight (passivity).

REAL OPTIONS include at least the following:

  1. fight (competition),
  2. flight (anti-social rejection),
  3. denial (procrastination),
  4. pause (confusion),
  5. assertion (personal and civil rights),
  6. negotiation (socialization),
  7. fear (paranoia and superstition).

No one of these responses is ultimately "best".
Many are constructive in particular personal circumstances which make them RELEVANT. A difficulty of the modern human is that he/she is usually not consciously aware of the choice possibilities and not adequately prepared to cope with her/his experiences by knowing how to choose the RELEVANT response.

EVERY SYMPTOM NOTED here can be an indication of a highly localized acute (short-term, obvious, critical) influence such as injury, or viral illness. IF these have been ruled out and the symptom is long-term and relatively constant in its presence --- you have a chronic illness.

In my 16 years of research, experience and counselling, I have never found a chronic illness which was not rooted in Environmental Hypersensitivities & Allergies as described on these pages. From the hundreds of common cold viruses to the many kinds of cancer, YOU can INFLUENCE the outcome.

REMEMBER THIS:
The above symptoms are POSSIBILITIES in the presence of real hypersensitivities. The presence of any, one, several or many --- are the direct consequence of your heritage and your experiences and exposures. In a confirmed set of over 100 participants, no two demonstrated a similar profile. All who followed the advisories outlined on these pages released their symptoms --- quickly, and apparently, permanently.

Character or Illness ?

It's just my character!
Aren't symptoms like anger, anxiety, depression, irritability, paranoia, procrastination, short-temperedness, sudden mood changes ... and similar, simply a factor of one's character, social skills, and maturity? Unlikely. If there is a pattern and noticeable frequency to the expression of such symptoms, there is a clear indication that some influence is controlling the behavior of the person.
We call these influences TRIGGERS.

FEELINGS, or, BEHAVIORS ?
All feelings carry with them supporting behaviors and this link is our clue. When a behavior is being engaged in which is neither constructive, pleasant, nor justified ... it suggests that it is a reaction to the presence of something of which neither we nor the subject is aware of. Take a moment to consider behavioral realities of several emotions.

ANGER discourages others from coming near us and makes those near us want to be away from us. Anger often forces us to take some action ... which gets us moving, increases our heart rate and circulation, heightens our awareness and senses, constricts our blood vessels, releases anti-histamine, and simplifies our considered alternatives to the minimum.

REMOVE OTHERS FROM OUR SURROUNDINGS and we can reduce our potential negative stress by 90%. For a body which is responding as if it had too great a negative stress load, sudden anger can be a stress stabilizer in a mass society. The very reality that anger is anti-social makes it a fundamental option which the Unconscious has no reservations in using IF it determines that the body in general is experiencing a negative stress crisis.
The question then becomes:

WHAT IS TRIGGERING the high level of negative stress which is resulting in such a form of desperate survival behavior associated with an uncontrollable display of basic negative emotion?

PROCRASTINATION is the result of indecisiveness of purpose and confused or absent priorities. In the context of acute negative stress, the Unconscious is so occupied with fighting off alligators and putting out fires that the Ego consciousness becomes distracted and disoriented.

YOU ONLY HAVE ONE BRAIN even though there are different functional areas and relative different aspects of your identity. Inevitably, all parts can work harmoniously only if they respect each other's differences and humbly acknowledge each one's strengths and weaknesses. This ideal of balance is clearly and usually NOT present in humans.

RULES, VALUES, PRIORITIES --- Who Rules?

  • Your Ego (Personal values) has a set of rules and priorities that take into account only what is beneficial and desired by yourself in the immediate term.

  • Your Unconscious (Reptilian Structure), responsible for all routine activities as well as fundamental life systems like heart rate, digestion, sleep, excretion, respiration ... has an entirely different set of rules and priorities.

  • Your SuperEgo (Social Values) is trying to impose the values conveyed to it through various cultural institutions on the more personal participants.

  • Your Basic Personality simply wants to be acknowledged for its strengths and weaknesses --- your basic building blocks to success or failure.

  • Your Personal Spirit supplies the energy for you to interact towards finding and contributing towards the completion of your life Mission.

  • Your Higher Self knows what you can best do, when, where, and how ... but it has to wait for the Ego to become humble enough to ask for guidance, and the SuperEgo, respectful enough not to interfere.

Most of the time, most humans are oblivious to the perspective elements of their identity and so, develop little or no self-management.

IMAGINE, for a moment, the circumstance of having a 1000 watt power supply with 13 motors hooked to it and each rated for 100 watts. Everything works fine as long as all the motors are not run at high speed at the same time, or, all are turned on at the same time. If the demands for power by all the motors gradually rise towards the limit, each will begin to suffer energy starvation. They will hesitate, falter, fluctuate in speed, stall, or, otherwise operate in a highly mechanically and electrically stressed state until either the power requirement of some of the motors is reduced, several of the motors fail completely, or, the power supply burns out.

WHEN ALL THE LIGHTS ARE ON AND NO-ONE IS AT HOME, you have procrastination. The power supply of the human will not likely burn out. A lack of ability to manage the identity crew is nevertheless leading to chaos resulting in potential opportunities appearing, and traveling into the past, unseen.
A question is:

What is producing so much distraction?
