The Principle of Release.

PREFACE
This page is an example of how one can take the original description of the spiritual Principle addressed by the specified Bach Flower Remedy noted in the reference, at the bottom of this page, and reframe it into a learning tool to assist you to build a new coping skill --- a constructive attitude and behavior pattern.

The description in the book is BEST for a person who has the energy block or is going through a session to release that block. The description by Scheffer is largely of what a destructive attitude and pattern of the spiritual Principle would be like if one had this particular type of energy block. That description enables awareness to increase and allows the Reptilian Structure to more inclusively bring together the components of the block concerned, when indicated, so that it can be released.

AFTER the energy block is gone, one May still find it helpful to counter the still present IMPRINTING that has also been imposed on the Identity by the person's environment. This is NOT always the case. Only about 37% of my clients would benefit from this. Only 11% NEED this benefit to make their improvement assured and hopeful against an environment that encourages the negative Principle. Usually, these are INTENSE people.

SWEET CHESTNUT relates to the principle of Release.

Trust in God, however great the adversary, leading to miracles and moments of wonder and Grace is the positive Sweet Chestnut state which is able to help us through difficult periods of change without our Identity perspectives focusing on the material to the exclusion of the spiritual. New stages of development or a new approach is often what is required when we have pursued one direction far enough, or, expect that we should have reached a destination sooner than is realistic.

Being the true pioneer, innovator, inventor, founder, scientist, explorer, or rebel often means that we must be able to look at reality from a different direction and with a new focus. The average, normal, status quo, and unsatisfactory can be seen by everyone. For us to find new life and bring a positive influence and direction to disturbing realities, we must often take the positive Sweet Chestnut trust in our Spiritual Guidance.

The necessary turning point that comes when we have stayed as long or gone as far as possible and can go no longer nor further despite all our efforts and persistence is the Sweet Chestnut challenge. It is the point at which our Ego (personal values) and SuperEgo (social values) working to the exhaustion of the Reptilian Structure (physical body) and the Personal Spirit have utilized all of the abilities available from one's Basic Personality and must now, in humility, reverence, and no-emotion look to God and request the Spiritual Guidance which will open the door to a new beginning -- a new reality with a certainty of success where none could be found.

To remain in the Positive Chestnut state, one is best to ask more frequently for Spiritual Guidance about what one is involved in, planning, avoiding, and integrating. It is sometimes easy to be Spiritually Guided in a particular direction and take off happily, enthusiastically, and with persistence and courage down that path with the self-mindedness of tunnel vision. Yet God and the Spiritual Guidance available integrates all that there is present, interacting, and changing through time. Possibilities disappear, reappear, and become actual. Past failures transmute into present actualities and future probabilities. If one is not aware in the Present, the potential for irrelevancy rises.

The greatest danger of all for the negative Sweet Chestnut state to develop comes from the tendency for our Identity factors to assume the often imprinted and educated perspective of linearity of action and cause-effect of outcome. This over-rationalized error most often assumes many underlying factors that often do not change, yet, can. A multiplicity of influences are discarded in favor of a singular one or two prominent and obvious contributors. We assume that because we started on a Spiritually Guided path that if success does not arrive -- perhaps God is wrong! In that brief display of DISTRUST we dare judge God for our laziness and ignorance.

Our salvation and resurrection is made possible by the arrival of a Positive Sweet Chestnut perspective. By the reaffirmation of our TRUST in God, we humbly reach out and ask God for Spiritual Guidance to once more get us back to the path and into the focus which will take us forward into new revelations, options, and solutions.

Often, we only recognize the true magnitude of our error only after we have acted on our Trust and Faith, founded the miracle needed for the change, and come to realize that it was our choice NOT to maintain our close contact with God which allowed us to fall astray by following the donkey too closely into the forest instead of keeping to the path which required constant attention. A wise ass (donkey) does not follow its tail!

GUIDELINE
If you wish to create your own reframed version of a Bach Remedy spiritual PRINCIPLE description to use for your chosen positive imprinting through repetitive exposure, consider the following.

  • Negative expressions of spiritual states are extremes, not good or bad according to some authoritarian personal election. The positive expression is seldom the opposite of the negative extreme. Look for the difference in context and the improvement in relevancy as an indicator of good choices of words.

  • Personalize your description with words like "I", "She", "My", and others.
EXAMPLES: SWEET CHESTNUT, Remedy #30
NEGATIVE <--- ---> POSITIVE
quiet gloom <--- ---> no emotion
helpless alone <--- ---> self-aware
extreme despair <--- ---> phoenix rising
present as chaos <--- ---> present as possible
overwhelmed <--- ---> new beginning
self-afraid <--- ---> refocused
