Adaptability and Inner Freedom

PREFACE
This page is an example of how one can take the original description of the spiritual Principle addressed by the specified Bach Flower Remedy noted in the reference, at the bottom of this page, and reframe it into a learning tool to assist you to build a new coping skill --- a constructive attitude and behavior pattern.

The description in the book is BEST for a person who has the energy block or is going through a session to release that block. The description by Scheffer is largely of what a destructive attitude and pattern of the spiritual Principle would be like if one had this particular type of energy block. That description enables awareness to increase and allows the Reptilian Structure to more inclusively bring together the components of the block concerned, when indicated, so that it can be released.

AFTER the energy block is gone, one May still find it helpful to counter the still present IMPRINTING that has also been imposed on the Identity by the person's environment. This is NOT always the case. Only about 37% of my clients would benefit from this. Only 11% (usually the more intense) NEED this benefit to make their improvement assured and hopeful against an environment that encourages the negative Principle.

ROCK WATER relates to the soul qualities of adaptability and inner freedom.

Positive Rock Water is a state of people who have respect for other's ideas and are able to adapt their own to the reality provided through their experience. They acknowledge their humanness, their personal limitations, and their strengths. Such persons are open-minded thinkers who know and live by their inner truths and see themselves as part of a greater whole. Their emphasis is on INTEGRITY born of defining what is relevant rather than just acceptable or understood.

Pleasure and contentment as a fundamental part of everyday life, obtainable through small discoveries, graces, and involvements even more than through major events is acknowledged by a person in the positive Rock Water state. She is sensitive in applying her values and principles to discern the ability of others to share, care about, and value her contribution. If she is usually a non drinker, yet is attending a wedding, she chooses to participate by sharing a toast to the happy couple.

An awareness of their needs, capabilities, and resources and applying their ideals accordingly in their personal life is what positive Rock Water demonstrate. When tired, they will consider rest. When looked to for help, they will not volunteer for something for which they have neither the skills nor Spiritual Guidance to become involved in. To do so would be wasteful of their resources and a denial of their Basic Personality. Better to choose participation where success is attainable without unnecessary hardship. Better to work out one's own difficulties independently if the only other alternative is to impose on others.

Being a positive influence to others typifies a person in the positive Rock Water state and comes through their inner strength and contentment, which extends from their self-awareness and their ability to set boundaries and limits. They are realistic in setting their goals and pursuing them, integrating new insights and deeper truths along the way for ever increasing discernment. They are compassionate and forgiving with themselves and others, adjusting their daily schedules when relevant. They are aware that the most constructive insights and options are always available, for the asking, from Spiritual Guidance. Others come to view them as mentors by example.

Being assertive in discussions, whether the topic be politics, environmental pollution, religion, or a more philosophical theme, also reveals a person in the positive Rock Water. A very open and tolerant, inviting and respectful attitude is taken. She is interested in and listens closely to the views and opinions of others and integrates these with her own. This does not mean passive acceptance of differing viewpoints but rather a consideration of them and a definition as to when, and to what degree, they could be constructively applied. In this manner, she is humble, empathetic, and respectful of others.

Awareness of one's inner tendencies and desires and choosing to be self-directed in their application and restraint is another indicator of a person in the positive Rock Water state. She fully expresses her thoughts, feelings, and values and defines them as her own without exercising attempts at control through reference to images of authority or the domination of singular truths without connection to their relevant application. Her interactive and expressive focus remains in the Present. Her reverence for God and the spiritual Guidance she receives is reflected in her respect for others and this calm and certainty radiates that she is loved and loves.

That external outcomes can often come from an internal focus is where the positive Rock Water benefit lies. She recognizes that others also have choice and can influence events to her benefit or against it. She knows that disappointments and failures can be a part of spiritual growth providing opportunity for improved discernment and greater awareness.

One's Personality actively seeks contact with Spiritual Guidance, it's Higher Self, and desires to follow such guidance when the person is in a positive Rock Water state. It understands that self-mastery comes from combined self-discipline and self-directedness together with looking to God for what is best for all concerned.

Accepting one's true self with all its imperfections and limitations is another trait of people in the positive Rock Water state. They have developed a faith in life through their experience of a Guided direction and choose to further entrust themselves to the sometimes difficult experience of life which can reduce the ignorance and pride of each of us. They accept that God wants us all to be happy and content and to experience pleasure as part of everyday life.

"Adaptable idealists" aptly describes people in the positive Rock Water state.
They are able to integrate new principles and values when presented with new insights and greater truths. They keep an open mind. They are self-disciplined in monitoring their ideals in their real life situation. In these ways, they are able, in the course of time, to truly bring many of their ideals to effective and efficient realization. This can, of its own accord, make them a positive influence to others.

Joy in life and inner peace make such a person an attractive example for others.

GUIDELINE
If you wish to create your own reframed version of a Bach Remedy spiritual PRINCIPLE description to use for your chosen positive imprinting through repetitive exposure, consider the following.

  • Negative expressions of spiritual states are extremes, not good or bad according to some authoritarian personal election. The positive expression is seldom the opposite of the negative extreme. Look for the difference in context and the improvement in relevancy as an indicator of good choices of words.

  • Personalize your description with words like "I", "She", "My", and others.
