Prostate Enlargement and Normalization.

The prostate gland is located in the male below the bladder and above the penis and testes. It surrounds the urethra, through which urine and semen flow, and can restrict the flow of either. While it produces seminal fluid, which make up as much as 96% of semen, it is the testes which produce the sperm of ejaculate. If the prostate is healthy, it also assists in preventing urinary infections, in the male.
Many people who may have prostate problems developing may miss the signs if they only experience a few, or even none, of the commonly noted symptoms.
- slowness in starting to urinate;
- increased frequency of urination;
- dribbling and slow urine stream;
- erectile dysfunction;
- disturbed sleep;
- reduced libido;
- skin rashes;
- impotency;
- breast tenderness;
- bladder infection;
- urine in the blood;
- kidney damage.
Symptoms can be confused and aggravated by:
- low self-esteem;
- zinc deficiency;
- B6 and B12 deficiency;
- chronic illnesses;
- adrenal exhaustion;
- pesticide exposure;
- heavy metals poisoning;
- systemic fungal infection;
- lung & heart infections;
- sexual abstension;
- sexual abuse.
The regulation of testosterone IN the system can become critical as one ages and IF one becomes exposed to chronic illness. Inadequate amounts lead to physical and mental depression and people don't make the effort to retain good health. Too much encourages cancer conditions.
Testosterone accumulates in the prostate gland as men become older because of hormone changes occuring with several glands. While testosterone production decreases with age, male levels of estrogen, luteinizing hormone (LH), prolactin, and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) --- all involved with female pregnancy, increase. These changes encourage physiological changes including increased fat storage on the hips, abdomen, and chest. They also encourage retention of testosterone in the body in the prostate gland cells.
At a younger age, this excess would have either been burned off in physical or intellectual exertion or excreted in the urine. Now, it is converted in the prostate gland by an enzyme called 5-alpha-reductase (5-R) into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which stimulates cell multiplication. This leads to protate enlargement, and eventually, often, prostate cancer. The higher levels of the more typically female hormones present encourage behavioral changes which reduce energy expenditure and contribute to testosterone buildup. These include a greater capacity for patience, reflection, empathy, and sensitivity --- which demand less intense and obsessive physical activity.
The herb Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens) has been found to prevent the conversion of testosterone into DHT, as well as to increase the breakdown of DHT already present. This enables it to act as both a preventive and a recovery agent. For decades, the alternative has been one of several forms of surgery varying in degree from moderate to severe. The side effects of surgery can be incontenence and impotency, particularly if the gland is removed in entirety.
You can find an Herb Profile on Saw palmetto on page 66-67 in the June, 2005 issue of Alive magazine, free at many health food stores, and perhaps on their website at http://www.alive.com
Terry Willard, CIH, PhD, the author, recommends the use of Saw Palmetto, in particular dosages for estimated periods, on an annual frequency -- to reduce enlarge prostate development.
The article states
"1 or 2 softgels or 20 drops of tincture used 2 or 3 times daily for 30 to 120 days .....
and a prevention dosage, for men over age 35, ... of a 30-day course every 2 to 4 years ...
men over 40 to do a 30 to 60-day course every year, and ... men over age 50 to do a 45 to 90 day course each year."
It is generally advised to take AWAY from meals.

Try and find a supplier who is having a sale or will give you a bulk discount for the total.
Try and be muscle tested for same before you buy, if possible.
If you don't need them all in the first year, you can use the remainder in later years.
The herbs Pygneum africanum and Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica) are frequently added to prostate health enhancement formulae for their remedial effects on prostate enlargement symptoms. While they are of individual benefit, their combined use provides a greater benefit than simply the sum of the two.
Light Energy Company of Seattle, Washington State, USA, produce a heat probe which has been effective for the treatment of prostate, rectum, and immune problems. Similar units are now appearing in Europe, likely having been developed independently and unaware of this unit.
The Thermo Therapy Unit [US $360] for the healing of hemorrhoids and correction of various prostate conditions using hyperthermia. ... non-surgical method of treating these two very painful conditions. The unit can also be used on lowered and weakened immune systems to promote the production of leukocytes (white blood cells) by making the body believe it is fighting a non-existent fever.
The Thermo Therapy Unit provides heat directly to the anal canal, relaxing the muscle in the anal area and promoting venous circulation to encourage the natural healing process. The use of hyperthermia heat as a treatment has long been recognized as a viable technique for the control and management of hemorrhoids. In much the same way, heat is an appropriate technique for troublesome prostate problems.
... individuals completely eliminated even the most severe cases of hemorrhoids, but also found Thermo Therapy to be an effective treatment for Prostatitus and benign Prostatic Hypertrophy. In some cases more serious conditions have been relieved.
... When your body has a fever, the immune system triggers the production of these cells. The application of artificial heat internally can make the body believe it has a fever, thus stimulating the immune response. This can be accomplished by applying a localized temperature of 113F (degrees Fahrenheit), in the anal canal using a small heat-producing probe. Although this seems hot, this area can tolerate up to 136F.
I always advise people to either use Spiritual Guidance or muscle testing to confirm what is the best dose, brand, composition of anything that they take and to assume that such will change with every use, as it often does.
