1. One side of a tooth = 1 treatment site.
2. Thoroughly debride the pockets.
3. Stop the bleeding before treatment.
4. Irrigation & Illumination are important.
5. Use photosensitizer & laser combo quickly.
6. Be generous with irrigation ...
7. Slowly move the tip throughout the pocket.
8. Treat adjacent sites. **
9. Wipe the light diffusing tip between sites.
10. Any pockets greater than 3 mm are best treated every 3 to 6 weeks.

** Bacteria will travel to adjacent sites and sabotage the effectiveness of the treatment if some areas are left untreated.
