Water is a Very Unique Entity

Without its many anomalies, life would not be possible.

- Fatigue, Energy Loss:
Dehydration of the tissues causes enzymatic activity to slow down.

.. The main types of health problems are these:
accidental injuries, genetic defects, and degenerative diseases.
We can do much about preventing accidents, but sometimes we get injured or have a catastrophic health crisis that comes without warning. I am very grateful for the skills of our surgeons who have learned to put people back together after some amazingly gory smash-ups or complicated health crises. Ironically, most of these advanced skills were developed in wars, taking care of huge numbers mangled bodies.
And I am also very grateful for the genetic research that is helping us understand the causes of birth defects we are born with. For now we need to adjust to the genetic “hand" we were dealt and work with what we have. Some people have a better starting point, but that does not mean that they can abuse their body without having to “pay the piper” eventually.
Degenerative diseases are largely caused by our life-style.
Our bodies are designed to maintain homeostasis, a healthy balance of optimal function of all organs and processes. If we were able to maintain the optimal balance, we would probably live 150 years and depart when we’d had enough, still healthy. A note on the margin: just because we can live longer on a hospital bed plugged into all kinds of machines does not mean that we have extended out life span. Alive and living are not necessarily the same thing, are they?
Homeostasis is a balance of inputs and outputs – intake of nutrients and excretion of toxins. It is strongly influenced by what we eat and drink, how we exercise, cleanse, rest, and also how we think and feel.

Like any good coach, we focus on basics.
We start with water, the universal solvent of life on this planet.
Every living process on Earth started in the primordial oceans, the amniotic fluid of life. Even your blood resembles sea water very closely.
Next to oxygen (5 minutes without it, and it's over), water is very important! We can go without water for a maximum of 5 days.
We loose about 2 quarts of water every day (sweat, urine, tears, breathing, etc.). We feel either thirst or pain when the balance is out by 1-2 percent. If we loose 5 percent of total water volume, we suffer hallucinations. A loss of 15 percent is usually fatal.

Part 4: Degenerative Diseases.

Degenerative diseases are largely caused by our life-style.
We usually start out thinking that we are bulletproof and immortal - at least that's how I remember myself in my late teens and early twenties.
It is amazing just how much abuse our bodies are able to withstand.
Alcohol, tobacco, food coloring, artifical sweeteners, never mind the pesticides, herbicides and pseudo-estrogens from petrochemicals... But eventually these things start to catch up to us. Most people suffer a major health reversal sometime in their thirties, and by the time they reach their forties, the serious damage becomes readily noticeable. I hope you are still remembering the iceberg metaphor - the part you see above water is only 10% of the total mass ...
Martin’s story. Here's a quote from it:
"True to the indoctrination I received as a regular member of this society and culture, instead of looking for the cause I was trying to fix the problem - my symptoms. It is curious how conditioned we are by our society in which we interact with others, and learn from them how to handle "problems". In my search for a solution I was seeing medical doctors, orthopedic surgeons, chiropractors, naturopaths, physiotherapists, and a good range of more esoteric therapists, including Rolfing, Bowen, Feldenkreis, cranio-sacral, McKenzie, Alexander, and more. The biggest enemy of your health is your behavior.
We dig our graves with our teeth, and with our stupid habits.
Nutrition, exercise, clothing, makeup, air, water.
We fill and cover our bodies with dead food and toxic chemicals.
We eat food that is devoid of nutrients our bodies need: enzymes, minerals, trace elements and a long list of necessary nutrients.
When you eat food bought in your grocery store or cooked in your fast food restaurant, you are eating food stripped of nutrients, yet filled with toxins. You can never eat enough to feel nourished. Your body screams for more nutrients. So you eat. You consume lots of calories, but not enough nutrients. Your body screams for more. No wonder you are gaining weight and can't keep it off!
When you get sick, the health insurance is your worst enemy.
People with insurance go for procedures not because they are needed, but because they are covered. And doctors compound the problem. Their entire belief system about health, illness, its causes and cures, is based on the wrong premise that healing comes from without, rather than from within. As if lack of health could be caused by lack of some concentrated pharmaceutical poison. That would mean that we evolved in a chemical factory, not in the tropical forest."
Degenerative Diseases
I would like to give you my favorite parable:
Think of your capacity to heal as if it were a body of water behind a dam.
As the water level starts going down because of leaks from damage to the dam, more and more of the previously covered terrain becomes exposed. Pretty soon you start seeing the tree stumps, and rocks that the lake covered. And later we can see the old discarded cars, tires, and other garbage that someone left behind.
If we fix the leaks in the dam, the lake will start filling up again, covering up all of the problems left on the bottom. Our little boat can float on the surface without scraping over the debris left behind.
And much the same way when you take care of the cellular terrain, degenerative dis-eases that were troubling you because of poor cellular health are "miraculously" reversed without surgery, radiation or pharmaceutical poisons.
Unfortunately we are living in a very litigious over-regulated society.
Our freedom of speech does not extend to freedom of commercial speech.
We can't tell you that we can cure an illness, and we can't claim that a specific procedure will heal you, even if we'd like to.

Part 5: Cleansing and Nutrition.

If you are a typical Life Enthusiast baby-boomer customer, you have seen thousands of TV commercials, billboards, advertisements, and other messages directed at us by the commercial advertisers - companies with an interest in molding and shaping your behavior. Like the proverbial frog in a pot of hot water, you have not noticed it coming slowly to a boil.
The cultural shift was gradual, yet we now live in a culture that is shaped and controlled by commercial media. The influence of large publicly traded corporations is felt in every aspect of our lives, including the political process. TV stations are owned by industrial interests. The biggest advertisers these days are pharmaceutical companies - over half of TV network revenues comes from them. Alternative (sic) health care has been actively suppressed and repressed for over 50 years.
The regulatory system is now funded by the pharmaceutical companies.
Its nature is to ignore inexpensive (often natural) solutions while pursuing patented (or patentable) chemical treatments. Notice their overwhelming emphasis on treatments - it is much more profitable to pursue a long course of treatments rather than a simple cure.
You have been trained to believe that the scientific method produces reliable results, that a double blind study of a single nutrient separated and isolated from its synergistic support is the only way to prove effectiveness of a treatment, and that illness attacks you from the outside of your body.
There is a whole other body of health science out there, and although ignored by the mainstream media, it is doing rather well. It has long known and proved that it is the cellular terrain within, and not the microbe without, that determines the health of any individual. It uses dark-field microscopy and live blood analysis to study and document the pleomorphic nature of microbes, and the progression of illness in direct correlation with the conditions in the cellular terrain.
What does that mean in simple terms?
When you create a healthy celluar environment on the inside, degenerative illness disappears. That's right - your body will heal itself when you cleanse and detoxify it, and feed it with the right nutrients.

Well, much the same with nourishment.
