Precautions.
You may develop your empathic and spiritual contact skills such that you can "touch" the experiences from which your client's Reptilian Structure has constructed energy blocks to defend against reoccurrences. You can always safeguard your Personal Spirit by undertaking various visualizations which close it, and your Heart, off to destructive influences.
Too much closure yields an inability to sense or feel the block-based experience and nothing can be conveyed to assist the client in remembering or working consciously with it. Alternatively, leaving yourself "wide open" and your Personal Spirit and Heart fully exposed to the impact of an experience which has traumatized your client to build an energy block, may, encourage you to build a block of your own.
This tightrope walking dynamic is a continual test of one's abilities for the intensity of a layer or an individual block will vary both within the individual and between individuals.
Spiritual Guidance can be accessed to confirm whether experiences suggested by the defined times and factors are correct, or simply intellectualized projections and expectations. Sometimes, the latter may be correct, but much more often, they are incorrect and bear no relation to the real experience of trauma. The effective practitioner is always humble enough to confirm by Asking of Guidance.
New-Age influenced practitioners are prone to project dramatic visions of experiences which portray the client as the center of much attention, power, riches -- the romantic vision. The REALITY is much more often an experience which is simply human and traumatic of nature through lack of preparation rather than by a nature of shock. Spiritual Guidance reveals the truth of PERSONAL experience rather than providing some form of sophisticated denial for an insecure set of identity factors. The client can often benefit more from an awareness and an understanding which may lead to compassion and forgiveness, rather than from excuses that will lead to blame and avoidance.
Indications of Reptilian sympathetic sharing can take the form of one's digestive system making the same sounds at the same time as those of the client. You may feel the same pains in the same areas as they are. You may incur tension and stiffness in the same areas of your body as they have in theirs. Forms or headache and degrees of tiredness may also be replicated.
What you may feel from your visual-touch, which they will not, for experiences contributing to block building before their present life, can be the extreme terror, grief, shame, hate, confusion, or other destructive emotion which the original person who developed the block felt. If you are emotionally sensitive and aware enough to effect this, you will, on occasion, reach a point of tears, urgency, or despair. Touch-see it only long enough to clearly define it; then let it go.
NOTE:
The greater risk you take, the greater assistance you can provide.
Risk without requirement and without self-monitoring is hazardous.
If one has any doubts as to necessity, one is best to confirm with Guidance.
If you make yourself ill because of the Ego or SuperEgo consciousness of your client or yourself in wanting to know details that are not necessary or indicated as off-limits, you are allowing yourself to be deceived or manipulated by your own, or the other's, pride and greed, intellectual or otherwise. Respect the privacy of others in that experiences of relatives (parents, grandparents, ...) still alive my be intimate to them and it would not be appropriate to know the details without their sharing them.
There will be other experiences which are part of the open family experience for which sharing and discussion will not present a problem. The focus is understanding, never blaming. The individual has always responded in the best way that they could at the time given their level of mentoring and coping skills and the circumstances and opportunities. No one has a choice in whether they build energy blocks. Opportunities to strengthen one's coping skills and awareness are often restrained by cultural inadequacies and restrictions.
Maintain your focus on doing what is necessary to assist the other person ... to the extent that is constructive ... and, to the extent to which they are ready.
