Even though I have been doing sickness, I deeply and completely accept myself. I choose to enable a greatness of health for myself. God loves me and I love myself. With the Love I Receive, I have love to Give and Share.

  1. Blind Spots.

Where were YOU?
We have all had experiences in which we were looking for something, yet, could not see it until someone else pointed it out to us. And, there have been situations in which WE noticed something and wondered why so many other people appeared not to see it or know the significance of its presence. Were we, or they, off visiting some fantasy land? There is that possibility some of the time. The frequent reality is that we, or they, have become accustomed to the CONSTANT and now only notice the CHANGING, or, the DRAMATIC, or, the UNEXPECTED, or, the UNIQUE, or, the THREATENING.

Our Reptilian Structure is the answer.
Our basic human physiology has changed little in the last million years. There have been a FEW significant genetic mutations in the past 8000 years. For this and other reasons, we have made more language, nutritional, lifestyle, social, population and materialistic modifications in the last 8000 years than in the former 980,000+ years. NONE of those more recent changes have influenced our Reptilian Structure into changes. That has left US frequently at ITS mercy. This is because, with our new power of consciousness and social identity, we minimize our awareness of it and deem it largely unimportant.

We are too busy VIEWING the information on the internet to understand HOW that information was gathered, stored, indexed, accessed, transferred, or presented. When there is a problem with the reception, we often REACT with mythical assumptions bearing little relevance to the reality. The "Blind Spots" of knowledge, awareness, and experience can find us quickly turning to the emotions of frustration, anxiety, fear, depression, anger, and confusion. We do this when we find something that we have built a dependency (expectations of consistency) on, fails. Our sense of CONTROL, suggests that we have adopted the computer and internet as an extension of ourselves. Truly, we are often too PROUD to admit to ourselves that we have painted ourselves into a corner of Ignorance.

When we initiate body actions with thoughts, we EXPECT that initiating a thought about moving our right arm upward WILL find it moving upward. This we can FEEL happening through the sensations generated within our arm, the compensating changes felt elsewhere in the body, the variation of temperature and environmental sensations as our arm moves through the air or water. These FEELINGS are similar each time we move our arm. What we SEE is functionally different. Each time we move our arm upwards, we see the same movement. Through SIGHT, we adjust the movement relative to external objects, yet, the movement is CONFIRMED by what we See, much more than by what we Feel. What if we THOUGHT we were moving our arm upward, yet, in reality, there was no movement!

    Our Reptilian Structure has five modes of activity:

        CRITICAL
      1. Energy acquisition & allotment.
      2. Interaction with other "brain centers".
      3. Internal Security: immunity-exclude.
      4. External Security: escape/fight-protect
      5. Industry/Work: energy storage/release
        OPTIONAL

There is a Priority to the above modes.
They range from Critical to Optional. If those at the critical end are not adequately provided for, the optional modes receive less attention and less to work with. It is as if to say that without #3 Immunity, there is no priority to serve #4 Escape/Fight. If we are dying from a fever or a heart attack, escaping a tiger may be a concern, but devoting energy in that pursuit will only further confirm the failure of #3. In a more IDEAL (less responsible/less real) world, we would run 500 yards and escape the tiger. We CAN overrule our Reptilian Structure with our Ego and/or SuperEgo. In reality, we would reach less than 50 yards, with a high fever, before collapsing, and after confirming to the tiger, that we were a ready prey.

Our new found freedom of conscious choice and motivation has enabled us to construct an environment which is often a million times MORE complex than our Reptilian is best capable of coping with. In the past 60 years, my Personal world has changed dramatically:

There is a fundamental significance in the above detail.
It is that the DEMANDS on the Reptilian Structure, in a period of 60 years, have grown at least 100-fold in terms of access, awareness, association, memory, skill requirement, environment, yet, there has been no further sophistication of development of the original physical structure. The cells and pathways of the Reptilian Structure have not changed physically. Do we ask our cars to travel 100 times as far on the same quantity of fuel? Do we ask typists to type 100 times faster now, and insist that they use 60-yr-old mechanical typewriters?

NOTE: ** Frequency/minute: This is an average relative figure to indicate the number of interactions which a Reptilian System is engaging in.




2. Denial empowers others.

The more we distract and confuse ourselves, the more others have an opportunity to surpass us with their expertise in more focused activities. This has a contradictory seeming reality. There may be times when persons who have a limited range of skills, interests, and applications ... are more efficient and productive than individuals who have more skills, a wide range of interests, and can do a number of applications. That is, those in most denial regarding awareness, of themselves AND the environment and those around them, may be more productive!

A very EDUCATED person, I will call him Brian, had degrees in sociology, psychology, and computer science. He had been proficient in getting the marks on his tests and projects which establish him as highly aware of the status quo standards of the instructors and the examination boards. Yet, it would seem, every time this fellow graduated, he imagined that he would be in more demand and capture a greater income, more fame, more respect, and a more prestigious company to work for, IF, he just had one more degree. He had spent 10 years of specialized training, after 13 years of elementary and secondary education, PREPARING, for work. He was confused, in denial, or, obsessive.

Brian was planning a fantasy.
He had only worked at temporary short-term jobs during summer breaks from his academic schedules. He had NEVER worked in any of the positions for which he was receiving training. He could not get motivated to actually take the risk of entering a potential long-term position which demanded his responsible application of the theories and exercises he had so excelled in. He had no sincere or longer-term associations with someone who worked in the fields he was planning to enter. He held MANY options for employment. Most employers could only offer him an opportunity to use SOME of what he had learned. Why is his transition from learner to worker being so difficult?

Whatever our Reptilian Structure does continuously for 3 months or longer, it becomes invested in. It learns. Routines are its STRENGTH. By the end of 3 months, a pattern is becoming, or has become, automatic. After 6 months in a womb, replicating the patterns of its mother, it may be able to survive external to her. That means less confusion, anxiety, conscious thinking, than during the period of it becoming aware of and becoming reactive to a stimuli. We do not live long, or in a state of balance or health, if the physical "housekeeping" patterns which our Reptilian Structure does so well, became erratic.

    • avoidance of dangers

A disruption of MANY of these optimizing patterns is often experienced by persons with CFS-ME. There are healthy responses which include many of these disruptions, in the very short term. There are acute medical problems and organ distresses which can FORCE such disruptions into the longer term. ANY of these disruptions result in our Reptilian System DOING its best to re-establish harmony, usually by engaging a potential for ACTION. This requires an increase in the availability of some resources, and, a decrease in the availability of others. We will damage our vehicle if we continually engage the accelerator AND the brakes at the same time. Yet, to use one efficiently, we must release our control and activation of the second.

      ACTION extends from changes:
    • alertness is increased
    • housekeeping is minimized
    • heart rate / nerve activity increases
    • energy release is stimulated
    • pattern recognition is sensitized
    • Reaction Response is engaged
    • Action is begun
    • Need for alternate responses?
    • confirmation of completion
    • return to calm
      ACTION process in a military submarine:
    • detection of potential enemy
    • battle station alarm sounded
    • crew suspend regular duties
    • orders are intently listened for
    • specialized duties are begun
    • engine speed is modified, a lot
    • confirmation of threat is determined
    • decision to attack, flee, return to calm
    • Next major routine is begun:
      • Attack drill
      • Avoidance strategy
      • Stand down

Control of Self and Limitations on Exposure are two principles that can refine how we utilize our degree of awareness, and, how we choose to apply it. If we are not processing the information effectively that our senses are providing us with, we are failing. The more we fail, the more likely there will be a disaster. We would be healthier if we constantly maintained, tested, and improved our self-awareness. Our external awareness is an equal part of the equation. If we deny dangers, they will weaken us. If we over-react to dangers, they will weaken us. If we are ignorant of dangers, they may defeat us. If we proudly refuse to limit our exposure to dangers, we are encouraging our weakness, enhancing the weakening influences of our dangers, and, inviting a catastrophe.

3. Obsession sabotages winning, to failure.

Obsession removes our choice.
It simply binds us up to the destructive energies of the Past, Fear, Trauma, Pride, and Hate. When we DO obsession, we are reacting AS IF nothing has changed from our experiences of the Past. Other people, climate, and commerce are engaged in as if time has stood still.

The REALITY is that it is US who have become unchanging.
As we continue to DO as we DID in the Past, we encourage others to treat us as we were treated THEN. If others DO treat us in more positive ways, we are likely to sabotage the NOW by expressing Denial and agitation about the responses NOT being as negative as we Expected them to be. This signals to others that we will NOT accept THEIR Positive energies.

Common obsessions which delay and restrain the total Recovery of persons with CFS-ME, and many other pattern associated destructive interactions:

    • going to bed at a specific time
    • getting up from bed at a specific time
    • expecting that we will have pains and aches
    • eating meals at specific times of the day
    • taking a shower or bath on the same days of the week
    • complaining about anything, constantly
    • believing that doctors, in whole, are incompetent
    • smoking or using other drugs to feel calm
    • expressing frustration & anxiety through swearing
    • eating or drinking while watching TV/movies
    • watching TV serials at the same times daily or weekly
    • assuming that spiritual leaders are spiritual
    • socializing to bring us acceptance
    • playing music to distract us
    • spending money to affirm our identity
    • washing floors daily

Most of these have been Encouraged in Commerce and Health.
Yes, after decades of marketing (billions of dollars of investment), social acceptance and self-denial (what we believe we have to do to keep our friends/job/calm), we ARE now being encouraged to lessen our dependency on these and many other routines. The reality is that we have imprinted ourselves with these patterns, and, often those around us. In some cases, we have shamed, guilted, imposed, or embarrassed others to develop Energy Blocks and become obsessed with such patterns.

Some of the patterns have enabled us to participate in, and financially and securely benefit from patterns which may have been a benefit to Commerce, though NOT to the Health of ANY individual. We CAN change. First we must recognize the pattern for what it is. We will only be successful in our changes by accepting WHAT our Reptilian Structure is, AND, encouraging our Ego and SuperEgo to work WITH it, not impose on it. Humility and compassion for ourselves and others can leverage our success.

We are either friends, or enemies, to ourselves and others.
The middle road is confusion and insincerity.
You can be ALL that you can be.
You can be the LEAST of what you can be.
WHERE, is YOUR Choice?




4. Fears can make it happen.

Needs sensitize us to Outcomes.
As long as we have had physical bodies and been on the Earth, we have been predators, and, prey. Larger or more aggressive or more opportunistic predators have preyed upon us. We used our fear of them to use our tool building skills to develop weapons. These have enabled us to both defend ourselves against most predators larger or equal in size to us, but also many which are smaller (viruses, bacteria, fungi, other parasites).

    Ten Ways to Guarantee Failure:

  1. Reptilian Structure: HATE yours, filter.
    Many people with CFS-ME feel great loss of activity.
    When you can't find solutions and doctors say "No Recovery"
    It becomes easy to redirect your anger against your Body!
    Do you Hate YOURS?
    It isn't leaving any time soon, unless you are, permanently.
    IF you keep trying to ignore, abuse, and control IT,
    YOU are imposing more confusion & anxiety on it.
    Do you have Time and Energy to waste?

  2. React to Everything, filter.
    Persons with CFS-ME often reach/return to a point of despair.
    Others judge you, know nothing, minimize your frustrations.
    Benefit in learning any self-control or respect for others?
    THEY are supposed to help, or so you have always been told.
    THEY Promised you. Now, they are absent, or worse.
    You feel like a Victim to everything, and you are not going to be!
    Being frustrated, angry and hateful ALL of the time, is easy.
    Just take everything you can get and assume that everything is yours, or should be yours.

    It FEELS like we have energy when we are in modes of panic, defense, anger, hatred, vengeance, and fear. These are intended short-term boosts of energy we receive from our Reptilian Structure for legitimate emergencies. They create an energy debt. That debt WILL be repaid. Blaming any of most things on others is a no-win. First, we are usually the ones responsible for whatever the outcome was. Secondly, if others are responsible, and they are unaware of it or in denial about it, our laying it on them will seem to them as if we are abusing them. They will withdraw, and, we will have encouraged them to abandon us! Third, blaming is an intellectual preoccupation with denial and pride with the outcome being that we feel superior while looking to others as childish. Fourth, if we are blaming, we are acting AS IF we already have an answer to the "problem". ALL of this means that we are not looking for a Resolution of our difficulties.
    Eyes wide shut?
    How long will you be content to be ill?


  3. Extremes, filter.
    Think and talk about everything in terms of their Best and Worst.
    Neither of these happen to us more often than 10% of the time.
    By constant repetition of our Fears, we can make such possibilities ever present and convince ourselves that they are happening, or imminent, 90% of the time. Humans have a tendency to focus on failures and losses, and, discard positive experiences, as non-fearful. There we are again. Learning the fears and not the confidences. Now, when positives DO happen, we will likely FEEL disappointed, as they were NOT what we were Expecting, nor Believe and have Faith in!

    Extremes also encourage others to experience us as insincere, dramatic, needy, self-centered, minimizing of others, failing to listen, exaggerating our importance, and, us telling them to abandon us. We are telling them that we are hurting so badly that NO ONE can help us. We just want sympathy, their sharing OUR pain. Only another sick person will commit to SHARING our pain. Two people sharing each other's pain often seems more accepting than our having to fully shoulder our own. But are we simply training our Reptilian Structure to accept and expect pain?
    Are we building a pattern of despair and passivity?
    When we are ready to listen, Recovery will be closer.
    Discernment requires listening, not waiting.


  4. It's All Me, filter.
    We know that abandonment is a common experience for persons with CFS-ME. Your doctor tells you that your symptoms are imaginary. Your specialist tells you that your tests all show that you are health. Your alternative practitioner tells you they have the answer, again, and again, and again. Their confidence and continual failure tells you that they are simply proud and ignorant, or just getting as much money from you as you are gullible to give.

    What about ME?
    Your spouse tells you they can't take any more of your laziness and lack of love and they are leaving. Your grown children are ALWAYS too busy with their own lives to afford you a visit, card, or phone call. After all, you trained them to take, always, everything you sacrificed for them. Why should they now learn, on their own, to give? Your social friends believe you are snubbing them as you never show up at their functions any more. Obviously, YOU think you are too good for them! And, those who DO care honestly about you, don't know how to communicate with someone who is acting terminally ill, yet lives on, to complain.

    OK! ... you say, feel, think.
    THEY are correct. I am stupid. I am a burden.
    I am somehow guilty for existing.
    My REALITY cannot be about anything but MY problems.
    No one else is sharing them. No one else understands.
    No one else is helping. I must look after myself. I must do everything. Every second of every day I only have time to think about the next move I will make, how I will get the food and supplements to live on, how I will pay the bills. I have no time for anyone else.

    Are you Choosing to live YOUR life by what THEY Think?
    YOUR Reality IS currently about survival.
    Part of survival includes your interactions with others.
    If you enable others to think the least of you,
    ---- are you not accepting to think the least of you?

    Break out of the Negativity.
    YOU can send a positive note or card to someone else.
    When you meet others, you can notice something positive about them, and comment on it. You can be thankful for someone calling or dropping by, without chastising them for coming so seldom. You can be aware of the concerns of others and ask about THEM, rather than tell them about YOU. Perhaps if you noticed THEM more, they would notice YOU more.
    Are you ready for the involvement?
    It is YOUR Choice, not theirs.


  5. Fantasy, filter.
    What are we projecting on our internal NOW cinema?
    With CFS-ME it is easy to project our Past onto the Present.
    Many people in society do this every day.
    It provides a calm confidence (security) to our day.
    If we are working or socializing, on time, it is a fantasy.
    We believe that everything will take place as it usually does.
    We will get up at a certain time, leave for work at a certain time, get to work at a certain time, have our breaks at certain times, leave work at a certain time, have our meals at certain times, ... and so on.

    IF you have CFS-ME, these certainties ALL change.
    Few things are on time anymore. Few things even are!
    If we are living the fantasy that the Past is Now ...
    We will be frustrated and anxious every second of our day.
    That much frustration, added to a base of fatigue, is disaster.
    We are making ourselves MORE tired with our negativity.
    As long as we Believe that we are who we WERE,
    We will slow down or negate our chances for Recovery.
    Guaranteed!
    Were, or, are? Choose NOW.

  6. Senses, filter.
    Believe whatever you see, feel, hear, smell.
    There may be times when you are distracted and then find that others are telling you that you misunderstood them. Or, they tell you that they spoke to you about something earlier. Did they? That is THEIR problem. You know what you heard.

    We easily become accustomed to multi-sense use.
    We enjoy our food most with scent, taste, and sight.
    Even the sounds involved, touch, conversation .. assist.
    We MUST have all this now, even if only for a few minutes.
    Then, we constantly mourn the loss of all the additional time.
    It isn't fair! we make those healthier around us feel guilty.
    They're GONE!

    What is REAL, it that we are sick, Very Sick.
    What IS fair is that IF we are going to survive, and recover, our Reptilian Structure NEEDS a lot of energy and resources. These include time, rest, and a lot less INTERFERENCE from our conscious musings and distractions. What is fair is that we support our Reptilian Structure and give it all the help we can. When we are stronger, it will need and use less resources, and, our consciousness will have the opportunity to get back on the horse and ride anywhere. Whipping a severely injured horse into a gallop is a certain way to FORCE and accident which might kill both the horse and rider. At the least, it will force the horse to endure a much longer recovery duration than was optimum. And we may curse it all the while, because, WE were lacking in compassion for it.

    Senses ruled by Willfulness, our Ego and SuperEgo, define where we would LIKE to go. Wanting something doesn't make it so. Much of the time, we require Resources, opportunity, and, Action to turn our Desires into realities. Action without resources or opportunity is stupidity. Action without resources, yet, with opportunity .. is a certainty for failure. Our Resources are our Reptilian Structure FOUNDATION. If we choose to interpret our senses with Awareness, we may reach the realm of Wisdom ... a capacity to take an optimized path to a stronger and happier life.
    Stupidity, Failure, or, Optimized?
    YOU have a Choice!


  7. Drama, filter.
    I don't do anything in half measures.
    You want a muffin. I bake 30 of them!
    You need a clean shirt. I wash for 2 days.
    I had a peach dessert. It was the worst ever.
    I am going to get better. It will likely kill me!

    Drama gets, or demands, attention.
    Every actor, salesperson, prostitute can tell you.
    Your "display" may bring you a sale, or, trouble.
    And most of the time, which, will only be known later!
    Working in drama is often sliding between highs and lows.
    Your work is intense, followed by the slows of planning.
    When all goes well, you feel like you are riding the crest.
    More of the time, you are doing your best just to find the wave!

    Drama Roles have a history.
    Only those who are intimate in our life now the reality.
    Sometimes, if they are not very aware, we may train them.
    People go into acting for many reasons, reactions, & intentions.
    For acceptance, one must build aggressiveness & fake passivity.
    For avoidance, one must build aggressiveness, and, denial.
    For professionalism, one must build aggressiveness, & patience.
    Actors may not be "noticed" until they have performed for decades!
    Others may be "found" by their "display" mirroring what is sought.
    For many, it is a high risk occupation with Potentially high rewards.
    There is a catch, for ALL.
    You must be healthy, to Win!


  8. Reality, filter.
    Why complicate matters thinking of foreigners?
    Or about anyone beyond the borders of our fence.
    I like to cut my grass at 6:00 am.
    The neighbors should be up by then.
    They chose to work the night shift. I didn't!

    The doctor says all the tests say I am healthy.
    I must be going insane. I force myself to work daily.
    I make mistakes, get into accidents, lose my temper.
    This will make the third job in 2 weeks I've lost!
    This never happened before. My job history is crashing.
    Now the doctor says that my sickness is mental.
    Too much stress, but from what? What to cut??
    Who can I tell? I'll be deed if others know I am going psycho!
    Can't get energy!! Everyone yelling at me! Must rest!

    The Reality is that most other people who are JUDGING you don't have, never have had, and don't have a clue about what CFS-ME is. Worse, they likely have an "educated" gossip rendition of what those who are responsible for the factors, or, responsible for their improvement, want others to Believe ... so they can remain innocent, ignorant, passive, respected, Perpetrators. Who can you believe? Ask yourself: "Am I better?" If the answer is "No", then consider this:
    You can't trust any Person!
    Not even YOURSELF!
    Start praying.


  9. Self View, filter.
    Everyone else thinks as I do.
    They like what I like or they are not good people.
    Others should want me to get what I want.
    I believe that the world is bad, and complain, OR
    I believe that the world is good, and ignore disasters.

    With CFS-ME, I am a special, disadvantaged case.
    If doctors cure other people, Why can't they cure me?
    What did I do so wrong that I am so sick?
    OK, I DID smoke for many years. Too late to give it up.
    Or, I DID use a lot of drugs to keep going at work.
    Or, I DID work hard. Is that so bad?
    Or, I Didn't go to my doctor enough.
    Or, I always did too much for others.
    What am I Guilty of which justifies this Hell?

    Abandonment invites the intellect to rationalize.
    Notoriously poor at times, the intellect is convincing.
    It can present us with all of the insecurities we have.
    Like a Satan, intellect assumes that God is absent.
    When it blocks out the Divine, Hope, Faith .. it IS Evil.


  10. Spontaneity, filter.
    We like to do whatever comes to mind.
    That means we are seldom doing anything for a time, OR,
    We do the same routines automatically each day.
    Our plans are always changing and we are always late.
    We are up too late and late getting up in the morning.
    We have a jolly time and can't understand why no one else does.

    With CFS-ME, we can never do what WE want, --
    Life is a drag, disaster, imposition, over!
    Control we had. Control now of what?
    I am learning to Fear what I want.
    What I want so often disappears.
    If I ask, it will go.
    SAVE ME!

    Action can be in our thoughts; not only in our actions.
    For a time, it may be BEST to imagine what we would like to do, as if we were doing it. No need to forget those pleasures. No need to pay with money and energy. Let's economize and live within, while we build readiness for the outside.


Projecting Outcomes from the Now defines our Future by the limitations of our Present. We KNOW from our Past , how far we have been able to go. There is no realism in the suggestion that we cannot repeat what we have already done. Yet, IF we insist on focusing on the NOW as an end, we are already at our end. Here are OUR common weapons we use against ourselves to AVOID the pain of accepting the NOW and finding ways to move beyond it.

  1. A Wasting of Time and Energy on Self-Hate.
  2. Be Angry that others can't remove the burden.
  3. Can Wait and talk our way to health.
  4. Deferring to the life of others; deny your own.
  5. Easier to be who we were, not who we are.
  6. Forcing Fantasy onto Reality.
  7. Go for More or Less, must be better.
  8. Hail to Others to cure us.
  9. Intellect will tell to answer WHY.
  10. Just Actions to define ourselves.




5. Building towards Creativity.

Desires sensitize us to Solutions.
We are calm, comfortable, and secure when we are without want or threat. As long as we have had physical bodies and been on the Earth, we have been predators, and, prey. Whatever we require to sustain our energy becomes prey for us. Foods, water, sunshine, air, companionship ... we do better with them.

Too much fulfillment can endanger our health; even lead to our death. We are best to place limits on how much of each is a good thing for us. This WILL require us to be more self-aware, not only of where the threshold is for TOO MUCH, but also aware of what factors influence the placement of that threshold. How much food we are best to have will vary according to how much energy we are expending for the day.

    Ten Guidelines for Creative Awareness:

    1. Respect and Self-Acceptance.
    2. By Desire see that it can happen.
    3. Choose "Response" whenever possible.
    4. Do "Relevancy" to discern the potential.
    5. Easier to be Real, no time for illusions.
    6. Find combinations that are successful.
    7. Go for opportunity, step ahead.
    8. Have a Heart, do your part.
    9. Inside, working together.
    10. Jewels, to be thankful for.


  1. Reptilian Structure: RESPECT yours, filter.
    It is YOUR physical foundation.
    By working with it and encouraging it through repetition, you build its strengths.
    That builds confidence and self-direction, and increases your energy.
    Love your Reptilian Structure as it does all that housework for you that you could never consciously do for yourself, even if you understood all of the procedures and workings, and even if you had a staff of 10,000 (yes!) fully knowledgeable and professional employees. It works 24-7-365. It never asks for anything. It cannot do all its activities if you and those around you do not afford it the resources to do so. When you are depriving, abusing, and starving it .. all it can do is work with what YOU give it. If you have symptoms of it not doing ALL of its work, or of it being dysfunctional .. look at your consciousness of Ego and SuperEgo, as responsible.

      Thank your Reptilian Structure daily for all of the following it provides so that you have a physical reality and can interact with other lifeforms.

    • extracting Oxygen from the air;
    • assimilating nutrition from your diet;
    • expelling waste from your body;
    • enabling nerve signals to your organs;
    • building you new bone and muscle cells;
    • maintaining your temperature;
    • warning you of dangers;
    • providing you with color vision;
    • storing your experiences (memory);
    • repelling destructive parasites.

    The above short list is a basic beginning.
    Respect the part of you that keeps you going as best it can.

  2. Need vs Desire, filter.
    We can become our own worst enemies or best friends.
    The more our abilities become reduced through illness or injury, the more our needs become obvious and immediate. With foggy thinking and physical weakness together with a loss of a social identity, it becomes increasingly easy to begin translating our DESIRES, into Needs. The difference is that we can barely live without our needs being met, yet we can live a very long time without our desires being expressed. Needs never change, only their immediate and conscious priority. Desires change throughout our lives both in terms of our adoption and awareness of them and our opportunity to act on them and realize them.

    Denial of our needs is frequent for persons who acquire CFS-ME.
    We have so often become knowledgeable, skilled, and employed to the point of building resources, stability, security, and relationships .. that such is taken for granted. Much of what has been institutionalized in our cultures and nations, we are encouraged, from the earliest school grade, to assume is all taken care of by the state. Just leave it to others and education, jobs, security, food, housing, health, entertainment, and social acceptance will be givens. All we have to do is to accept the Authority of others, believe in the Ideals, follow the order of the status quo. What is left to us is deciding the personalized options, DESIRES, of how much more or less to take from "the System" and give to it. That give-take dynamic is enshrined in the economic system.

    How much our lives are stabilized, ordered and controlled into a threshold of services and membership first depends upon our national political structure. It is inaccurate and simplistic to believe that political party names and platforms define the degree to which an administration is Socialized, Nationalized, Communist, Environmentalist, Capitalist, or Dictatorial. With few exceptions there are elements of all of these ideals in every level of government involved in our lives. The proportion and dominance of which ideals varies from one administration to another; sometimes from one office to another. The REAL indicator is in the operation of such authorities. What they legislate and how they enforce that legislation. Forget the titles. What is the ACTION?

    Live in REALITY, and you will have the best chance for Recovery.
    If you remain in the fantasy of idealism, political myth, and personal superstitions, you don't have much of a chance. THEY have ALL failed, or, you are better and don't have CFS-ME. If that is true, good for you. Look around you. How many others are recovering exclusively by the support of their institutions? Maybe YOU could assist them? For the person with CFS-ME, reacquaint yourself with what your NEEDS are and how you are meeting them. Then, define what your key desires are that you often say you cannot live without.

    If you sustain your Needs,
    You can regain your Choice of Desire appreciation.


    Wild Animals (Needs) vs Pets (Desires):
    The downside of idealism is to treat reality as we want it to be and not as it is. Wild animals don't respect humans as part of their species. If they are starving, they will attack, kill, and eat you. If you respected them, you would not expect them to turn THEIR Needs into YOUR desires. Why should they see themselves as part of our intellect? We certainly don't ask for their feedback in our affairs. We can't even respect members of our own species!

  3. Respond, whenever possible, filter.
    There are few things that stay the same.
    Many of those which do remain constant have been constructed by other humans, just like us. They may benefit from refinements from time to time, and we might offer such at that time. There is a difference between imposing options which are irrelevant just because we have been able to think of them and would like the credit for our contribution .. even if that contribution is useless, or even, destructive.

    We may be called upon to serve as a juror at a trial.
    There are many personal desires and priorities which we may prefer to put first. This can encourage us to lie, deceive, and, manipulate our way apart from our responsibility to join in, for the benefit of the whole. It may be that the charged person is charged with a crime for which his defense lawyer is poorly experienced. In our special and personal experience and skills, we may be the only juror who can raise the questions of the court which will bring greater clarity to what has been presented. OUR absence may result in the accused being convicted, yet being innocent. For OUR absence, the guilty party is given safety to commit further crimes. For OUR selfishness, the innocent person may spend the rest of their life in prison, or even be sentenced to execution.

    The person with CFS-ME is also on trial.
    It is in the court of status quo that they are tried for fraud.
    If found guilty, they will be DENIED personal acceptance, social support, financial assistance, professional expertise, and spiritual integrity. They will be assumed to be mentally weak and emotionally ill. Their physical disabilities will be ignored or minimized as the ravings of extremist perceptions and a willful intent to defraud and avoid responsibilities. Who can stand in their defense. Even more specifically, who WILL take their Truth and seek to translate it into a reality for the jurors?

    Acting on one's own behalf can be like being a juror.
    Only YOU can ask the questions that are relevant and which the ignorant defense fails to raise. Only YOU can put the concerns of the prosecution into perspective and demonstrate that they are attempts to have the judge deny admission of new practices which can affirm proof in FAVOR of YOU, the defendant. If you want to recover to health you had before, and possibly even better, it will be you who must PARTICIPATE, as if, you were a juror charged with an assessment between the prosecutor of status quo and the defender of your health facilitator. With the Tools of this Package and other reports, you can seek to discern and clarify the details of YOUR case. No other juror, in YOUR trial has either the motivation nor the skills to be the "holdout" juror which can sway the court in the favor of Justice.

    "RESPONDING" requires that you listen carefully to the "evidence" presented both in your favor and against you. It requires that you understand the perspectives of each, their limitations, and their level of authority. To respond constructively, you will have to call upon your Defence to run tests and consider protocols they may unfamiliar with. You may have to change the composition of your Defense Team, entirely, or in part, repeatedly. Your participation can determine the effectiveness of YOUR treatments and the speed of your Recovery.

    Can you be both the Accused, and, a Juror?
    In an abstract context, yes. If you are content to sit there as a passive accused person and let your life be determined by the actions of others who are hired or restrained by the state, you will likely never receive a fair trial. Both the Defense and the Prosecution uphold the status quo of no change from common and irrelevant perceptions. If you seek to THINK like a juror, you can make Constructive suggestions to your Defence, and, you can actively choose who will represent you as your Defense.

  4. Relevancy, filter.
    Just because you are highly educated and have academic degrees doesn't guarantee you health. The reality is that in our highly structured and role model existence with often high specialization of skills, most of us remain ignorant in a number of areas of basic life skills. These are the skills that many of our ancestors would have known about and been fully competent in 500 years ago. They could have had ALL of these. How many do you have?

    1. Forecasting weather from a view of the Moon, or a sunset.
    2. Knowing which plants were medicinal herbs, and how to store them.
    3. Storage of grains, vegetables, fruit without drying/refrigeration.
    4. Garden companion planting for maximum yields.
    5. Spinning wool into yarn and turning yarn into clothing.
    6. Treating boils/carbuncles without drugs or herbs.
    7. Best practices in herding sheep and goats.
    8. Gutting and butchering fowl & cattle.

    Every human has a personal investment in their own health.
    Much of the time, the only input made to one's health knowledge bank comes from the instructions given to them by their schools, neighborhood gossip, ancestral practices, military training, government research publications, and doctors comments. Many of these remembered comments originate back to the early years of schooling, decades ago. In the intervening time, most of those "Rules" have been shown to be inaccurate, dangerous, or useless. The importance of physical security, tied to currency, dependent upon the whims of others, has imposed a fear of unemployment in some, and of poverty in others. The health stocks we hold may be for companies long since bankrupt and closed.

    Fear of health loss in the past has been imprinted as a form of denial.
    For most people, access to health care was either low, or simplistic. Until the recent last few decades, persons with chronic illnesses either did not survive, or, were expected never to recover. Either way, there was little effort made towards finding ways to Recover. Living With such illnesses remains a major government solution to this day, 2009. Acute care illnesses were such that you either died before treatment, from the treatment, or within weeks or months of acquiring them. Yes or No, there was little to do to prepare a defence. For the past 60 years, we have thrown vaccines at everything. Much of the time, these have appeared to lessen the prevalence and strength of new outbreaks. Or, has our genetic immunity been growing?

    What about the possibilities for Prevention and Recovery for CFS-ME?
    With there being no general reference available to doctor, patient, or the public providing an understanding of the variations of influences nor how they could be diagnosed, treated, or recovered from ... how would you be prepared to cope with it. How would your doctor be prepared? The comparable relevant knowledge of most practitioners (alternative, holistic, medical) towards the effective treatment of CFS-ME today is like putting a farmer in charge of a nuclear reactor, or, the reverse. Danger.

    You may know a lot about illness prevention guidelines, organic farming, companion planting, energy conservation, food nutrients, and blood groups. Has ANY of that assisted you in getting well from CFS-ME? It takes humility to admit to oneself and others that you know little about something which is proving devastating to increasing numbers of people. To admit such is to open the door to increased awareness of potential benefits that could help you avoid CFS-ME, or Recover from it. Relevancy of information to YOUR resources, capabilities, and symptoms will be critical for YOUR health.

  5. Illusions, filter.
    We know that there are many optical illusions.

    Our senses are optimal, with experience and learning, for use on the ground, in clear weather, open terrain, and good health. Change ANY of these factors and our senses can deceive us for our assumption that they always tell us the Truth. If you have CFS-ME, you are navigating in turbulent weather, close terrain, and very poor health. You are a pilot flying through a storm with your radio and location beacon signals erratic, your fuel level low, your crew confused from the chemicals in a terrorist bomb, and, a fog bank up ahead. You had better be confident in how you are going to get to the airport and land, or, you are risking not only your life but those of your crew and passengers.

    Like the pilot, we must add knowledge and skill to our senses which will prepare us for other than Normal environments. Theirs is the sky and speed. Ours is multiple sicknesses and institutionalized authority. There is a difference between the Art and Joy of flying, and the Science and Routine of flying. MANY occupations, including most of the medical and many of the holistic and alternative healthcare ones, are defined by the courses of instruction and apprentice which trainees must complete to a satisfactory (decided by persons and economy) level of accuracy. Most professionals take their training and learn the basics of their trade or specialty, with sacrifice, in anticipation of a future life of confidence, contribution, stability, respect, authority, and freedom (to do what they WANT to do). Studying and further trials are usually NOT what they want.

    Those who enjoy the Art and Joy of their occupation are most often passionate. That makes them unique in that they take pleasure in finding Joy in the Doing of their skills and the ever continuing learning and expansion of their perceptions and associations. THAT can become their Life. They voluntarily spend their non-paid time extending their skills and knowledge. The majority of other people have been promised "a Life" in return for their sacrifice and deference. They want, and expect, to use their non-paid times to share time with their spouse, children, peers, and in hobbies, entertaining activities, relaxing, buying, and cooking/eating, plus, a good amount of sleep. Institutions and you, the public, make it difficult for most "Art and Joy" practitioners to financially survive. Their sanction to work and their income per unit of "practice" is often regulated, directly or indirectly, by the representatives you elect.

    Sensory illusions can be extremely dangerous for pilots, and their passengers. Equally so for SCUBA (Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus .. Aqua Lung) divers. Working in an environment in which the pressure can change for many reasons and where there may not always be a visual indicator of which direction is up or down, spatial disorientation is always a risk. With health, and on firm ground, we often have a good sense of balance because of the constant air pressure on our ear mechanisms. We are often able to affirm these sensations with our vision, or, the reverse. When one has CFS-ME, how one feels is constantly changing. You feel as if you are dying, yet by the time you reach the hospital or the office of the doctor, you are feeling more normal, and by the time they run any tests, many hours later, they show that you are healthy!

    You are sick most of the time, your senses tell you, if you have CFS-ME.
    They are not lying to you. They are confused. Some of what they are telling you IS true. Other parts they are telling you out of fear and anxiety (adrenals). Still other information, pattern thresholds that have changed from the normal, are telling you that your new "normal" is one of perpetual fighting against sickness. If your body is fighting a sickness, how can it not be sick? What YOU can believe from your senses will vary by the minute. You are a pilot flying through a violent thunderstorm, at night, through mountains, with a crew that is on drugs, and passengers that are frightened and nervously yelling questions through the din. Get a focus! If you don't, everyone will die, or, you will begin to wish they were dead.

    IF you have CFS-ME, and you sincerely want to Recover, you will have to become open and compassionate to the limitations and potentials of others, and yourself. Some, you can acknowledge and encourage, and, in THEIR time, they will step out of their comfort zone of security and try something new. It might be the prescribing of a drug in a manner unknown to them before. It might be in authorizing a test which they are discouraged from using. It might be in reading an article, or, listening to YOUR short summary of it. It may be in referring you to a specialist that you have mentioned. It may be their clarity in telling you that they have THEIR system and they never vary from it because they found that it works best FOR THEM. Better they tell you up front that they will not work WITH you, than that you pay them $5,000 to find out that they say "yes" often, just to shut you up.

    It is WE who have made Reality so difficult.
    We can start making it easier by removing many of the roadblocks that have mandated our illness duration and frustration, and even its origin.

      • Adopt more constructive skills
      • Buy from local farmers, businesses.
      • Support recycling & energy conservation.
      • Send the URL or copies of this to others.
      • Encourage your government rep 6 times/year.

  6. Multi-Dimensional, filter.
    With CFS-ME, sensory reduction & distraction is a given.
    Overactive in many other areas of function, some must suffer.
    For many people, sensory overload occurs at decreasing levels.
    A radio playing in the background or a TV show may be too much.
    The more there is for you to hear, the less you may hear.
    Life has to be reduced to the bare essentials or it is nothing.
    You may be best to ensure that only one source of stimulation is on at a time.

    IF you acknowledge the limitations, you can adjust.
    Know the choices and make them, or, lose them.
    Choose music by itself without conversation.
    Choose conversation without TV or radio.
    Choose telephone with no background distractions. WHEN you are Recovered, you can begin to rebuild your multi-dimensional abilities. You haven't lost them as long as you use them individually. The only danger is to attempt to use them all with the energy turned down.

    What is REAL, it that we are on the road to Recovery.
    We don't know how long the road is but we are always confirming our directions. We make sure not to run out of gas and that our vehicle has had the oil changed and the tires have lots of tread left. Whenever necessary, we clean the windows and shine the gauges. We know that our trip will carry through with fewer problems if we do a little planning and ensure that all is running in the best condition it can. Always watch those gauges. No harm in checking with the map occasionally. We are neither inexperienced reckless youngsters nor Alzheimer's patients always trying to go back home before we have left it.

    We take Educated, sensitive, risks.
    We find ways around the construction.
    We avoid washouts and accidents.
    We Choose the Best, & combine for Success!


  7. Dynamic, filter.
    For humans, and YOU, life is not an anthill.
    It is a day of routine for the ants, unless there is a threat.
    Just the same old, same old, same old, and the hill grows.
    There is little benefit in trying to cram as much in as possible.
    No matter how much work is done, there is always more.

    You may Quickly learn, if you have CFS-ME, that you get a Severe penalty for each time you DO cramming. Going beyond your Present limits, because you Want to, means that you will be DOING far short of your limits for a long time after. Is it really worth it to get a fantastic hour or day, so you can't get out of bed for 16 hours or a week! Of course not.

    Going with the Flow.
    We can do so much more by sensing how we are doing, and, not wearing ourselves out with doubts and frustrations. That also means doing more when we can, and accepting not to do as much when it will not be good for us. Every professional attitude SCUBA diver knows that there are many steps to a successful adventurous dive. They know that:

      1. Stability comes from Quality;
      2. Calm awareness limits panic,
      3. Underwater is a new world;
      4. Be fit: go further, longer, deeper;
      5. A plan provides opportunities;
        and
      6. Safety is enhanced by partnership.

    Build YOUR history anew, every day.
    Each day is an opportunity for a step ahead.



  8. Proactiveness, filter.
    You know that when you drive towards a pedestrian crossing, there may be people approaching to to use it. They may already be there, distracted and delayed in thought or conversation. Then, they decide and they are on the move .. out into the crossing. Yes, it is THEIR responsibility to look before stepping. And yes, they are humans and make mistakes, just like you.

    As a proactive driver, it only takes your intent and slightly increased awareness to scan the roadside near the crossing. YOUR vehicle has more power than their legs. It is not your responsibility to ensure their safety. It is your WISDOM to protect yourself from the loss of your time, the damage to your vehicle, and the shock to your emotions of being in an accident. By doing so, you also assist in safeguarding the other person.

    It is no surprise if it routinely happens.
    You are nobody's fool if you accept reality.
    IF you need 16 hours of sleep each day for a week,
    it is little surprise that you may require the same on the 8th day!
    We don't plan for an 18-hour awake day if we have 8, dependably.
    We can always add other activities to our schedule.
    ALWAYS removing items from our daily list is NOT a benefit.
    We always are open to improvements, yet we accept the Now.

    You know the medical/practitioner routine.
    You know that the system they must legally work within and which has engineered their training has NOT prepared them for the complications you are living. Stop acting as if you are ignorant of THEIR rights and their limitations, as people, as professionals. You KNOW that you are ill. You also KNOW that there is every chance that you can Recover. What you can best benefit from are some good options, opportunities, experience, Faith, Persistence, and a Plan.

    You can Do it!
    With God.

    Have a Heart, do your part.



  9. Worldview, filter.
    We have an understanding of our reality which unifies everything.
    Does everyone have CFS-ME? Are you in the majority?
    Do you understand all people who have other sicknesses?
    Have you lived in the skin of people of a different race?
    If you cannot understand them, how can they understand you?
    People who share an identity share successes & challenges.
    What do you have in common with all other people?
    If you can FEEL it, you can OWN it.

    To be understood, understand others first.
    Rejoice in what you Share with them, not how they differ from you, or you from them. You share a genetic heritage to begin with. You share a location of the Earth in the universe, with them. You share many capabilities with them. You can build on what you share. ALL people experience pain and joy. Some of the reasons are very similar. If you want the best for them, and do your best to assist them, you will share in their successes and joys, even if only by knowing that you had a part in bringing it into the present. THAT Positive energy will bring you new strength.

    You NEED strength to Recover.
    Build Cosmic Credits -- Steps towards Heaven! It can be as simple as saying a prayer.

    Membership invites your spirit to Share.
    The Spirit can help the body to be stronger.
    It can present us with all of the potential we have.
    Like God, the Spirit KNOWS that God is listening.
    When it brings the Divine, Hope, Faith .. it IS Grace.


  10. Consistency, filter.
    Be thankful when it is present, and, beneficial.
    Consistency will give us confidence if we make a note of it.
    It is too easy, and reactive, to only note and remember the changes, disappointments, frustrations and losses. It is up to us to put OUR reality into perspective by reducing that critical error with the remedy of defining the Positive. Make a list every day of those things you are thankful for that you may not have had, and may not have had on other recent days.

    Acknowledging YOUR reality puts YOU back in Control.
    You may have to start with small things that you have overlooked far too often and taken for granted. If you are not thankful for them, you have no respect for them. If you have no respect for them, you are asserting that you would be just as well off without them. Keeping to that direction may find you without them! Here are a few of the possibilities that you could begin with. It really is possible to be without them. There are many people out there who don't have them. If you do not have these, note others which you do have.

        Jewels, to be thankful for.
      • food to eat
      • clothes to wear
      • hearing to hear with
      • someone to talk to
      • freedom to move
      • water to bathe in

    Thankfulness brings Joy and Calm.
    Thankfulness brings Certainty and Relaxation.
    Thankfulness is an anti-inflammatory and anti-depressive.
    Thankfulness helps open the mind, and invite solutions.
    Thankfulness is a step closer to Recovery :)


Building a Future from the Now expands our Present by the Abilities we have expressed and the Capabilities we can develop. We KNOW from our Past , how far we have been able to go. There is no realism in the suggestion that we cannot repeat what we have already done. Yet, IF we focusing on the NOW as an intermission, we are on our way to .... Here are common GIFTS we can use to strengthen ourselves to ACCEPT the pain of the NOW and find ways to move beyond it.

  1. A Physical Respect and Self-Acceptance.
  2. By Desire see that it can happen.
  3. Choose "Response" whenever possible.
  4. Do "Relevancy" to discern the potential.
  5. Easier to be Real, no time for illusions.
  6. Find combinations that are successful.
  7. Go for opportunity, step ahead.
  8. Have a Heart, do your part.
  9. Inside, working together.
  10. Jewels, to be thankful for.


Personal Comment:

I DO state that this awareness can be effective for many persons who have more singular or less devastating forms of ill health, including a number of cancers. CFS-ME is defined by a person acquiring any 5 or more of 13 specific acute expressions of chronic illnesses. I have experienced health improvement personally from this awareness, approach, product or service, and/or, witnessed a number of other people benefiting from it.

Strengths often become weaknesses when applied to extremes or in situations where they are not relevant. Even as complexity in a reality which is singular is foolish and wasteful, simplicity in a reality of complexity is destructive and often deadly.
