I want, You want.
Choices and Opportunities.
QUESTION:
I want to get to the point where
I can communicate with my spirit guide to not only help myself but others
as well. That's extremely important to me and I want to someday use that
to figure out the herbal formula to create the next generation of fertilizer
and do some really spiritually specific things in my home community to
raise the level of awareness. At least that's my eventual goal.
ANSWER:
This is an example of how many of the persons who are dominated, or
have been, by their SuperEgo identity expressiveness view where
they initially EXPECT to go.
This example is here to remind of, and assist others.
If we do not start off at this point, sooner or later we will get
to it. Sometimes, others, who are well meaning, will try to have us express
our intentions or goals in this way. Sometime, we may be weak enough to
fall victim to the attractiveness of flattering our SuperEgo.
Let us all learn from this and beware of it.
When we CHOOSE to follow Spiritual
Guidance, there is no allowance for 2nd and 3rd masters.
Either our Holy Ghost-Spirit Guide-Higher Self is our mentor, or, we are
just playing around and not being sincere. More than one means differences
and conflict. Since our Higher Self ALWAYS has the Spiritually perfect
answer and solution, as the mouthpiece of God, any seconds or thirds are
necessarily wrong, unnecessary, ineffective, confusing, muddying the waters,
empowering to our self-interested Ego, SuperEgo, and/or Unconscious.
Whenever we say "I want ...
(what I think/feel)... (should be acceptable / correct/ appreciated/ rewarded)"
we are simply saying
"I'm going to play god and set the rules.
If my Spirit Guide supports this, good.
If IT does not support this, then God is wrong and unfair."
This is hardly Spiritual in context, or intent.
When it comes your time to learn it, this principle will be one of
the hardest for your identity expressions to accept. With the decisions
I had to make, and with no preparation or human mentor, I felt as if I
was going to die of the emotional pain raised by my Ego and SuperEgo. They
were having to accept that my Personal Spirit, and for my physical survival,
they, would ALWAYS have to put the Guidance of my Higher Self first. Anything
less is denial, a spiritual traitor.
Where is the difference, you say.
If you elect to follow Spiritual Guidance, the ONLY question you ask
regarding future direction, goals, purpose, contribution, is ----
"What does God want me to do?"
This is not
"What do I think I should do?",
nor
"What do others think I should do?",
nor
"What will others respect me for doing."
Most actions that we are Spiritually
Guided to do, it is even fair, in most mass cultures
--- not just in modern times --- to suggest that we will be discouraged
of by our friends, relatives, associates, peers, employers, social groups
... and hence, by our Ego and SuperEgo ... until they know categorically,
by our consistent choice, that we are sincere, and committed.
Everyone who truly leads a Spiritually
Guided life, sooner or later, or even continuously, makes
decisions whose actions or inactions turn others against them. Christ spoke
to prostitutes as persons to be respected first as persons, expressed frustration
against the fraud openly perpetrated in the synagogues of his native religion,
refused to take a leadership role in a much desired military revolt by
the Jews against the Romans, chastened his religious and closely bound
ethnic group for not treating non-Jews with dignity and justice. In His
day, He was hated, despised and plotted against by those who made the world
evil to satisfy their Ego and SuperEgo desires for power, material wealth,
and social acceptance. Still, His example changed the world.
Huge benefits are provided to
the world by many Spiritually Guided persons.
Few are acknowledged in their lifetime.
What you will have to ask of yourself in the future is
"Did I do my best to do the part I was given life for?"
If you were not following "Spiritual Guidance", you could not.
Always keep in mind this:
God wants each of us to be content and fulfilled
according to the Basic Personality which we have. Ask for, and choose,
continuously, to follow Spiritual Guidance, and inwardly you will find
contentment, joy, and miracles.
Now, what is your goal did you say?

COMMENT
This article was originally written for the coaching benefit of Team members to provide them with feedback about accessing Spiritual Guidance clearly and managing their identity perspectives.
Mistakes are easily made when doing something new. Cautions which somone more experienced can share are often a great help in avoiding confusion and ignorance. There is nothing constructive in everyone re-inventing the wheel. Would-be experts offer rationalized and irrelevant guidelines that distract and disorient a beginner.
Playing to your identity perspectives only strengthens their interference in you access to Spiritual Guidance. Know the difference, or, learn through the frustration of trial and error in the extreme, or, just fail and keep on as you have been. Your future is largely your choice.
