ALL of the above can be great benefits, but, some are gifts, some take many hours of committed practice, and, a factor which proved very motivating for me, may have the opposite influence on you.

So, if you are having difficulty
making a good spiritual connection,
ask yourself the following:

1. How long have I been practicing?
Some people require hours of practice each day for years.

2. Am I totally aware, from the Seminar notes, of the steps to building and the detractors to experiencing the state of no-emotion, file 26, the steps in developing one's ability to experience Reverence, file 28, and, of what the factors are which facilitate spiritual contact, file 39.

3. Am I trying to integrate those factors into my lifestyle, not just during and before testing but all through the day?

But what if you appear to be making good contact already?

This is the most dangerous position of all.
You can actually weaken your Personal Spirit by assuming that the response you are getting is from your Spirit Guide or Holy Spirit. A strong seemingly correct signal can come equally well from your Ego, SuperEgo or Unconscious. You can take precautions to try and detect the disguised messengers.

Remember what going into a state of No-Emotion does is to effect a trance-like self-hypnotic capacity on you.It is always what you combine with this state which determines what the more likely source connection you make.

If you ask questions with "Can I ...?" you are encouraging a response from your Ego. Your Ego often has the perception that you can do anything. Your SuperEgo has the perspective much of the time that you cannot do anything, or, that you should try to do something you are not prepared for because it may impress, or help someone else. And they may switch back in forth in a mental flash.

To the question of whether you are in contact with your Higher Self, neither the Ego nor the SuperEgo can represent themselves as anything but what they are. They cannot say they are your Holy Spirit. But, as soon as you have confirmation from your Spirit Guide, they can interfere; hence, the need for reconfirmation, especially in the early stages.

Tiredness and weakness are common defences raised by the combination of either or both of the Ego and SuperEgo plus the Unconscious. What do you do when you are tired. You give up. You stop. You go back to what you are comfortable with. You feel lazy. All aspects of your conscious existence call for you to shut down and leave today for tomorrow.

There may come a time when your Higher Self guides you to do more. The little additional task may prevent a fire, save a life, provide you with a revelation, help a friend, find you a better job, improve your health, make an opportunity into a reality. You have to be ready when that call comes or, it will slip away, forever.

I was tired when I went to bed last night. I got 4 hours sleep. I worked all day, took a walk, and did more of my Guided tasks. My body was ready for rest at 7:00 PM. I had two more tasks to do plus provide feedback to Steve at 10:00 and feedback to Tom as soon as possible after that. By the time those were finished. I had this "note" to complete.

I could hardly keep going but I was Guided that it must be done tonight --- that it would be important for both Steve and Tom. I am a slow typist. I could hardly continue at midnight. My Guidance gave me a few directions and I was back reasonably alert and accepting Its dictation.This will be completed about 1:00 AM.

My spiritually guided path has taught me to accept that everything that I am Guided to do today is important to be done today. I may not be here tomorrow. I may only be here tomorrow because of what I have completed today. I can only guarantee that what I have been given to do will get done if I complete it as directed. Sometimes I may take longer because I have not asked for enough guidance or have been slow to respond to some.

I humble my Ego and SuperEgo with the memory of their now few failures and encourage them to get on the winning team, so that we can rest more, etc. Sometimes, that IS the point. Because I am so tired, my Ego and SuperEgo just get out of the way and let the work get done so they can have their reward: rest. In other words, tiredness can be a gift from God to enable easier access to my Spiritual Guide.

If you ask for historical information which you have been in contact with, you are likely accessing your Reptilian Unconscious. Back in the mid-1950s, research on hypnosis resulted in amazing findings the significance of which seems to have been lost. On one occasion in particular, a bricklayer was hypnotised and asked to describe the features of a line of bricks, chosen by the experimenter, in a wall of a building which the bricklayer had laid 3 years earlier. After he emerged from his hypnotic session, he and the experimenter went to the building in focus, found the line of bricks and examined it for the described features.

Both were astounded to find that the bricklayer had itemized over a thousand characteristics pertaining to 4 bricks, chosen at random out of a wall consisting of thousands of bricks. ALL of the characteristics were present and accurate. Hypnosis is a normal state of the mind in which a sub-conscious undistracted awareness accesses the reptilian memory. Except for cases of physical injury to the brain, we all have a memory of every second of every day we have lived together with all of the stimuli we detected and all of the activities we were involved in.

If you ask where you filed a document, put a book away, or mislaid an article to, in a state of no-emotion self-hypnosis --- you are likely going to get an answer from your Unconscious, not your Higher Self. Unless you have tested for a clear connection to your Higher Self immediately before your question, and, immediately after your answer is received ... you have no certainty of the source.

Eventually, when you establish a constant clear connection to your Spirit Guide, and, when you devote your life to choosing hourly or more often to request and follow such Guidance, your Unconscious with team with your Spirit to maintain the link with less difficulty. It will never be perfect, because you are not perfect. But even under the most difficult and challenging circumstances and experiences your Holy Spirit will be accessible

There will always be distractions, foolish promises we have made, others who want you to rescue them while they play victim, some who try to deceive and manipulate you, and many who will attempt to abuse you or those who are near to you. If you allow your Ego or SuperEgo to rationalize all sorts of wants into needs and options into responsibilities, you will weaken the strength you have gained for your Personal Spirit from your Unconscious.

What would I say if someone said I was just being a robot of my Higher Self?
That would be a dismay to my old unmanaged and unaware Ego and SuperEgo.
A horror. Where would they fit in. But now they know better.
It would be heavenly to be a spiritual robot.

Always choosing the most constructive and successful options, my Ego and SuperEgo being rewarded beyond their conceivable reality, my Basic Personality appreciated and utilized to its optimum, my Personal Spirit in a state of endless contentment.

And always, I have the choice to deny any or all of this. Like what is the problem with such an option?

The members can choose to encourage each other, complain, or, coast into oblivion. Remind yourself often of the mistakes you have made in NOT following Spiritual Guidance and the benefits you have reaped from following it. Your Personal Spirit will continually become stronger, and, so will your Spiritual Connection.
