Preparations for a New Beginning.
TOPICS.

Challenges can frequently be surpassed.
After reading the history files regarding the Earth and humanity you may be feeling that the challenges are too great to warrant individual effort. Consider first how fortunate you are. Most individuals have very little choice in their present and thus little input into their future: they have no awareness of the reality of their past and present and thus have only fantasy to suggest their options and ignorance to guide them into the future. You can no longer hold yourself in the same safety of denial. Also, consider what other humans have been challenged with and how they have responded.

There are many real histories of individuals who have encountered many challenges and succeeded in making something constructive both along the way and in the conclusion. Unfortunately, the mass media and the politicized historians who have reported and popularized human history have most often been guided by what could be utilized to promote military or political (authoritarian) aims rather than what could be useful as a mentoring tool for the individual and their culture.

This report has largely focused on what humans have recorded, albeit often in secrecy or withheld in secrecy, and on what was considered most significant and fearful. Good deeds and a strong spiritual presence are, regrettably, too often taken for granted and easily forgotten by individuals, and, serve to undermine the human-based hierarchical authority structures which seek to subvert most individuals to enslavement by the state and the status quo of materialism. Here is just one example of what an average human has done - and what you can do - even improve on.

An individual, we will call him "John", was born prematurely in a location and during an era when 70% of premature babies died; he lived. His digestive system was so inadequately developed or so sensitized that he developed a food allergy to his mother's milk and then to cow's milk. With some experimentation, the nursing staff devised a formula which his system could tolerate; he continued to live. Before he was one year old, he contracted yellow fever and was expected to die; he lived. When he was 6 years old, he had a finger crushed in a door, accidentally; he regained full use of it. When he was 8 years old he was involved in an accidental point blank dynamite explosion which left scars and burns on his eyes and blinded him for 2 weeks; he regained and retained over 80% of his sight. That was his first 10 years.

By age 10, he had acquired at least 4 severe and social activity limiting allergies; he continued to be active. Before reaching age 11, he witnessed one of his pet friends being killed and bled out before being butchered. At age 11, the earlier crushed finger had been crushed a second time. When he was age 12, he was abused by gossip and was ostracised by his neighbourhood. Before he was 14, he was encouraged by all his peers to abandon and reject a friend; he refused. While he was aged 14, having come to accept the hatred he felt from the community as somehow justified, he attempted suicide with a knife; he was prevented by God, and left confused.

To increase his sense of control, he came to practice a form of yoga daily, without guidance: there were no yoga classes in the region for a further 20 years. Within a year, he had 3 different mystical experiences which would forever influence but not guide his life. By age 17, he had changed his self-esteem from passive and victimized to confident and aggressive; his will changed from weak and unfocused to strong and purposeful.

He came to understand that he had been unfairly accused and abused as a boy.
Lacking a spiritual mentor, he developed an intense hatred for his community, studied numerous methods of self-defence and murder, and was plagued by dreams of mass murder for reasons of vengeance; he attempted suicide with a rifle, the intent being to safeguard the community from him, but was stopped by God. His hatred subsided.

Distracted from his school studies by an intense study of religious and philosophical works, he failed to obtain high enough grades to enter university; he took a short-term winter volunteer job teaching and working as a labourer in a frontier mining town. He was young, naive, and aggressive: he arranged classes and activities for single and separated men - with neither previous experience nor supervision. Ignorant of intimate and sexual relationships and highly influenced by conservative religious sexual piety, he became immensely confused by the conflicting behaviours which he found in evidence around him.

A peer and respected friend came to be involved in an intimate relationship with a separated married woman with two children and, within months, the relationship developed into a long-term commitment centred on caring, compassion, and honesty. Yet it became obvious that some other men and women treated each other with little respect. This friend had experienced emotional and spiritual abuse in his Christian home. He now had found and was sharing love in a relationship outside of formal state or religious marriage. Which was more important, or, relevant: intimacy, or, religion?

A man, Henri, whom he had come to respect and who had elected to be separated by a thousand miles from his family for 9 months of the year for reasons of employment and income, lost his self-control one night and attempted to sexually assault a young man.

Another man, Frederik, whom he had come to respect, he found one evening with a woman in his room, a practice not allowed in this male-only rooming house. The woman, impoverished by government practices, had resorted to alcoholism and prostitution. The friend was trying to show caring and consideration for the woman; the drunken and insensitive woman only wanted the man to get her pregnant. She wanted a child to comfort her loneliness and despair.

Further, John's own roommate seemed to be implicated in the theft of monies from his belongings. Later, it was confirmed that the cleaning woman had locked the room door while she was cleaning and used the privacy to seach for and take the monies.

The local radio celebrity, who was also co-ower of the rooming house, was a pedophile. He was acknowledged by the status quo as a contributor to the community; yet, those who were teenagers in the community and not yet received as responsible adults in the community, were confident from the beliefs of their peers and from the testimonies of his apparent victims, that he was using his position of authority to impose on young boys through offers of friendship, bribes, and threats.

Yet another friend he found to be involved in liquor and drug abuse. What had been neatly boxed and wrapped by the religious concepts John had been taught, to fit under convenient headings of good and evil, now swirled about to challenge John, on a spiritual and social level of reality and commitment. Would John adhere to institutionalized and legalistic principles of condemnation, abandonment, and piety, or, to try and apply compassion, tolerance, humility and benevolence. Could he set aside all the teachings he had received from community and religious leaders and mentors, and somehow, find relevancy in the upside down world he found himself living in? Can you set aside all that you hold intensely REAL, and open yourself to what may appear to be a contradictory reality, which you KNOW has some value?

Sacrificing all of his time and efforts to assist others, John now felt abandoned and isolated - no friends, co-workers or relatives within hundreds of miles whom he could trust or respect. Of the 8 churches he had attended services at, in this small outpost company town, none had seemed to be more than a series of formalities in which the promise of inclusion appeared to be more of the benefit than spiritual mentoring. On a minus 40 degree Fahrenheit night, the young man wandered out into the snow and bleakness at the edge of the town - to die.

The spiritual challenge, the emotional pain, the physical loneliness, the pattern of persistent dichotomy - was it more than he could bear? Again, the will of God returned him, without other help, to safety and reality. The prospect of true interpersonal intimacy and love was adopted by him on the basis of honesty, caring, and self-responsibility.

Returning home he began to take some enjoyment in life: he bought a motorcycle. He crammed for a new subject credit in hopes of improving his chances for university application acceptance. On the day of the exam, after writing, he spun out his motorcycle while negotiating an S-curve in the road, slipping onto the loose gravel shoulder. A helmet saved his head from serious injury and leather gloves saved his hands from being ground into the rough asphalt; a knee did not fare as well. Gashed to the bone and almost through the tendon, he crossed a metre wide, metre deep ditch, in shock, and waited for an ambulance.

At the hospital, the gravel was cleaned out of the wound, the tissues were sewn up, a cast was added, and he was sent home. Six weeks later, the cast was removed; it was as if he had never walked. None of the leg muscles had ANY strength. It took maximum energy and excruciating pain to move the leg a shudder; three weeks later, he was walking fine. By the 5th week, he had climbed back on the motorcycle to vanquish the after-accident paranoia which can occur from traumatic accidents. Conquered, he sold the bike, bought a suit, and found a management trainee job in a nearby city. He began dating at age 20.

Much of the next 30 years continued in a similar manner: challenges, and more challenges. At a time when many people were still looking forward to a lifetime career, steady paycheque, comfortable home, loving spouse and children, and an ever improving standard of material lifestyle - this man's life was different. He quit his first "career" job for moral reasons. In the same month, he married. In the next job, he was trained for a new career, then sidelined when the company changed its direction. Eventually, he would be laid off 6 times, would quit twice more for moral reasons, and, would retrain into 4 more careers, attend and complete university - always hoping to gain security. Finally, trying to escape the control which employers exerted over his livelihood, he started his own company.

Initially, it proved difficult, challenging, and successful.
Several times, severe difficulties with health led to business and financial declines. Then, in a major move to become financially independent, he was embezzled of his revenues and left too poor to declare bankruptcy. Three marriages and one close relationship each failed for quite different reasons, yet he used each occasion to learn, become more aware, and change to be stronger spiritually. He persisted, and with Spiritual Guidance, conquered four diseases regarded as either incurable or usually fatal. In addition, he fully recovered from three accidents - one almost fatal; two resulting in injuries from which people generally have poor rates of recovery. He is now in his most constructive and fulfilling marriage and is working in the most creative, demanding, and rewarding career he has ever had.

A moral life seldom follows the status quo of a materialistic capital-based society.
That means that challenges will arise and that the spiritually strong alternatives will sometimes result in a sacrifice of one's career, friends, material possessions, freedom, or family. No person with positive self-esteem wants to make any of these sacrifices and to make them in error would be foolhardy. Yet the only way to ensure that such a decision must be made and find the alternative which is spiritually correct, and therefore, the most constructive, is by the development of and use of Spiritual Skills - which facilitate contact with the Holy Spirit.

Life can be simple, challenging and rewarding, or, it can be anxiety-ridden, predictable, and average. What follows are some considerations for those of you who wish to consider the former. Energy Blocks can make harmony almost impossible. An understanding of them and a greater awareness of the real and many options available to one, can lead to an improvement in decion making and a more fulfilling pathway than previously.

Coming Challenges for Humanity

Six occurrences can be expected to happen before 2014 A.D.:
---- as noted here in 1998

45% positive - reversal of the Earth's magnetic field;

62% positive - outbreak of a contagious fatal virus;

69% positive - commencement of a major nuclear war;

85% positive - impact of the Earth by a major asteroid;

89% positive - severe decline in the stock markets;

91% positive - collapse of international banking.

The probability is almost as high for their occurrence by 2010 A.D.
As noted, NONE of these are 100%, meaning that we do have Choice, and could change the likelihood of some of these, and, could, prepare well for the others. A humanity which is not working together for the survival of the human species is a humanity weakened by internal strife, which, encourages its own extinction.

In addition:

Alignment of the planets will encourage major earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, earth subsidences and uplifts. These will result in the heating of the oceans enough to decrease the size of the ice caps by 10%. Global warming through the influence of chemical dispersants on the atmosphere, together with the toxic influence of too many humans for the planet -- resulting in excessive energy and resource use, for and by all -- will further accelerate this trend of environmental degradation.

Outcomes from the above which are highly suggested include these:

o adjustment of the Earth's axis changing the location of the equator;
o resultant dramatic climatic changes;
o partial melting of polar caps increasing ocean levels by 6.5 feet;
o massive disruption of all economic, industrial and political systems;
o crop interruption for 3 years due to climate inconsistencies;
o inoperability of all machines for up to a year in duration;
o widespread epidemics of disease, starvation, lawlessness;
o decrease in human population by 80 to 91%.

Whether you understand and believe most of this report or only that part which supports the narrowest of status quo, the conclusions are the same. That is, if you remove all references to the Earth's development in the universe, the interaction with spacebeings from other galaxies, the recorded estimates of asteroid and meteor passes and impacts, and the political conspiracies which have been carefully hidden from the public - you are still left with well demonstrated patterns of human individual, social and political behaviours. Those behaviours, regardless of their origin or the continual professed intent of individuals and leaders to modify or harness them, are repeatedly demonstrated throughout the 4,000 years of well recorded human history.

These behaviours have intensified in their destructiveness even though the capacity for improvement has always been available. The inevitable conclusion is that the masses of humans who are, or have chosen to be, or have been manipulated to be ignorant and self-serving will eventually initiate a global catastrophe which will destroy most of humanity. Or, a global catastrophe will occur for which most humans do not possess the coping skills required for survival. Neither of these are the will or the responsibility of God. Humans were given Choice, and with Choice comes Responsibility. If you love yourself enough and several other humans and are reverent of the power and Guidance of God, you will prepare for your and their positive future. Any other consideration is destructive.

REMEMBER THIS:
In any catastrophic situation, the humans most likely to survive are those who in possessing a true sense of reality and a practical preparedness neither fall victim to panic nor to denial and by their actions cope constructively so as to afford themselves and others future survival.

Repeating the choices of the status quo WILL result in YOUR involvement as a fully confused human who panics and reacts, or, who freezes in shock. The person in panic always reacts, rather than responding, and those defensive behaviours are often destructive to oneself and those in the surrounding environment.

Save those who have chosen to be worthy:
Situations will arise in which the choice will present itself to you as to whether you should compromise your own safety and survival, and that of your family, in order to provide substantial benefits to others. If you are not prepared beforehand to make such a decision, whether it involve friend or stranger, individual or group - you will risk the survival of yourself and your family as surely as if you had betrayed them yourself.

The basics of survival - food, shelter, warmth, supportive companionship - will become scarce.
Learn from the time-honoured parables of the ten virgins (St. Matthew 25: 1 - 13) and of the eight talents (St. Matthew 25: 14 - 30). Your success and your survival will be strongly guided by the self-responsibility and effort which you have expressed before any time of challenge. If you have learned the basic skills of food cultivation, harvesting, preservation, preparation, and combining together with the skill of constructing viable shelters from available materials, and added to those the knowledge of how to sustain a comfortable surrounding and become well-practised in the responsible use of assertive communication - you have considerable strengths which will contribute to your survival. If you have alternatively chosen to squander your energies, time and resources in the pursuit of indulging your ego and flattering and manipulating others for material and social gain - you will have little chance to escape a hell of desperation and want on the planet Earth.

If you surround yourself with others who can sustain themselves, and, who have chosen to develop other skills which can contribute to the survival and lifestyle benefits of a group - your collective strengths will increase. If you are careless or undisciplined and invite or allow others to enter your "band" (extended family) who have no history of self-direction nor sacrifice, nor wish to care for anyone much beyond themselves - you will have brought a parasite and a cancer into your midst which will result in the death and destruction of all. The presence of humility and reverence within the individual to acknowledge their weaknesses and overextended strengths together with the motivation to develop a balance between those traits and skills which is positive and constructive should be a primary determination for recognizing how far to assist others.

Of the 10 virgins, five prepared for the future, and, at the time of invitation to attend the gathering and feast, they were allowed in. The other five virgins were lazy. They showed no preparation nor awareness. When the invitation for their attendance came, they were not ready. By the time they had completed their preparations, the door to the ceremonies had been closed and they could not share in the festivities.

In a similar manner, when God leaves the stewardship of one's life in the hands of the individual, as an owner left the conduct of his business in the hands of the workers - those who seek, by humility, self-direction, and reverence - to learn and do their best to maintain the viability of the business ... or of the neighbourhood ... planet ... the rewards are of similar magnitude. In the parable of the talents (coins of monetary exchange), the individuals who demonstrate self-responsibility, integrity, determination, and resourcefulness - they are gifted greater opportunities by the owner. For the fearful and self-absorbed individual lacking in the strength of humility and reverence to seek the Guidance and skills necessary for success, the owner withdraws any future opportunity for either consideration or advancement.

Know your standards and your limitations:
In the present and coming times of social, economic, political and environmental distress - persons strengthened by the Guidance of spiritual values supplemented by the revelations gained from positive and effective meditation and prayer will receive the greatest graces of God: certainty of action, patience, correctness of decision, contentment. Such is neither built upon ruthlessness nor elitism. The basis is one of a covenant, of a promise between 2 parties - confirmed by commitment and action in both times of challenge and times of balance. If a person comes to you, or you come upon them, in need of help and they are unworthy to include in your extended family, consider the WORD as further expressed in the parable of shepherd.

In Matthew 25: 31 - 46, the Parable of the Shepherd describes how the caring person divides the goats (individuals who each fend for themselves and quarrel with each other) from the sheep (individuals who work together for the benefit of the group - without animosity or greed). The latter are taken into a heavenly existence by virtue of their caring for the disadvantaged with their immediate assistance of food, companionship, clothing, and empathy. The former, as earned by their greed, ruthlessness, and selfishness - gain an existence of agony. Note that it is not suggested that the sheep "adopt" the stranger. If they can provide immediate short-term assistance that will enable the stranger to continue his or her journey, such is provided.

If one is to adopt another, it must be upon merit and not on intentions, for every criminal and deceitful person would have you believe that they intend to do good. Words and promises are easily made; actions and performance betrays the true spirit over time. Compassion becomes abuse if it has no standard - a hypocracy of helping others perpetuate evil. Such a weakness derives from a faith and reliance upon individual persons rather than a faith and reliance upon the Holy Spirit as revealed through meditation and prayer. True compassion is the conveyance of the truth of one's options, the encouragement to choose the most constructive alternative, and, the definition of the requirements upon which your sacrifice for them depends.

Suggestions for preparation, coping, survival:

A) Acknowledge reality: accept the truth as a starting point;
B) Prepare to meet your God: Heaven or Hell is your choice;
C) Prepare to Survive: Contentment or Hell is your choice.

Humans have consistently chosen iniquities over virtues; time has run out.

YOU have choices:

- React in pride with anger, vengeance, hatred, violence, - and die;
- Respond in denial with rationalistic denial in the form of disbelief;
- Rejoin in denial with a nervous breakdown or emotional shock;

* Function in confidence
with an awareness of the Grace and Guidance possible from God, and

* Act to gain skills, become independent, increase your awareness, help others.

CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING as
YOUR Inevitable FUTURE ENVIRONMENT:

Self-Directedness  --- no government
Self- Responsibility - no public utilities (heat, water, sewage)
Open-mindedness ------ erratic climate variations
Assertiveness --- ---- considerable mass ignorance and loss
Spiritual strength --- an inability to intellectualize alternatives
Humility ------ ------ a necessity to embrace change
Love ----- ----- ----- to sustain yourself and those near to you

Inspector Chris Braiden of the Edmonton, Alberta, Police Department wrote the following in 1985; many others have mirrored his comments:

"Some things in life cannot be stopped, but many can.

Sometimes it seems we are captives of our own thoughts; often, we are victims of those thoughts. Many of the limitations we experience in life are illusory, self-inflicted by a lack of faith in ourselves. Because we think we cannot do something, often, we don't try. This can impose artificial boundaries on our achievements."

For those seeking a Positive Future:

- learn and practice meditation and prayer;
- take therapies to clear your energy blocks:
Bach Flower balancing,
Touch for Health,
Rebalancing,
Tai Chi Chuan,
Yoga breathing exercises;

      learn positive coping skills:

    • humility,
    • meditation,
    • self-assertiveness,
    • forgiveness,
    • empathy,
    • honesty,
    • trust,
    • self-esteem,
    • self-directedness;
    - clear the toxins from your body:

Use the services of an herbalist, iridologist, muscle tester to determine in which sequence and with which herbs, vitamins, minerals, foods and other supplements you should use to most effectively rid your "temple" of the heavy metals, destructive microbes, and dependencies which rob you of self-awareness, self-control, and positive self-direction;

Work with your advisor to plan a long-term detoxification of your body.
Every person has a different history of exposures and a different strength of physical and spiritual power. Cleansing obviously compromised organs before "rejuvenating" those on which the troubled organ is dependent is a waste of time, energy and money.

The rate of progress in your cleansing will depend upon the extensiveness and depth of cleansing you require, your capacity to cope, the capital or capital-substitute available to you, and the degree of control which you truly possess over your life.

With your action plan in hand, stock up enough of the suggested ingredients, as best your financial situation enables, to complete the program. You have taken your whole life to reach your current state of toxicity. If it takes you 2 years to clean away the ravages of 50 years - and by doing so enables you to live a constructive lifestyle for decades to come, isn't that better than dying of a chronic or acute ailment after 365 or 800 days of misery?

If you are able to make such provisions, remember to store your supply of herbs and supplements in a cool, dry, dark location, or, as may elsewise be suggested.

You may have to search for reputable brands or sources within your local region.
Be aware also that some substances are sold with certified stable measures of the active ingredient. Be aware that some brands and varieties are more pure or more concentrated than others. Be aware that some materials are only constructive in the presence of other ingredients. Be aware that supplies from one continent, one country, or one region may not share the same characteristics as those from another region. Be aware that price may be relevant to value and yet that sometimes commonly available inexpensive materials may prove almost equally adequate to the need or for the purpose.

Some examples of commonly required substances, in addition to the above-noted include these:

    • Acidophilus & Bifidus (double strength) capsules
    • Aloe Vera Gel or liquid (organic)
    • Biocidin, - systemic parasiticide
    • Borage Oil (Priminaol or Omega Plus)
    • Cat's Claw (Uncaria tomentosa) capsules
    • Chlorofresh (chlorophyllin copper complex)
    • Cinnamon, - anti-viral and anti-bacterial
    • Coconut Oil, cold pressed (if suited to your blood type)
    • Cranberry juice (unsugared), or, in capsule
    • Dandelion Root extract
    • Enviroplex, - for systemic detoxification
    • Evening Primrose Oil capsules - lymph cleanser
    • Flor Essence tea/capsules - intestinal cleanser
    • Garcinia cambogia (CitriMax Plus)
    • Garlic, crushed or puree, uncooked
    • Ginger tea, Chinese
    • Hawthorn extract/tincture - strengthens heart
    • Lemon juice (fresh) - systemic cleanser
    • Li Chung Yun herbal bulk
    • Licorice root, dried and crumbled
    • Lidan tablets
    • Milk Thistle Extract - enhances liver function
    • Molasses, blackstrap
    • Mustard, prepared (sugarless) - anti-parasitic
    • Olive Oil, cold pressed virgin (if suited to your blood type)
    • Pau D'Arco (Taheebo, or Tabebuia altissima,
    • Ipe Roxo, Lapacho) tea or capsule
    • Vitamin C, 500 or 1000 mg, timed release
    • Yoghurt - natural source of beneficial bacteria
    • and many others.

It should be noted that the above substances are not to be construed as cures or even medicines.
All, used properly and at the appropriate time, can lead to an improved balance of the functioning and strength of the cells which compose your body. This result can assist you in a better defense against threats to your biological safety and can assist you in coping with such threats.

A great amount of money and time can be spent and a great amount of disappointment can be gained from inappropriate use of herbal, tonic, and chemical pharmaceuticals as well as from non invasive remedial practices.

If you have the skill to determine which of these and in which order and/or combination your health can best be maintained and improved - you already know the above reality. Your other alternatives are to either seek out a practitioner, the results of whose advice you have seen, or, to develop the skills to effect such awareness, or, to do both of these approaches in combination. Freedom is knowing you have choices and having the strength to take the necessary actions to determine which of those choices is the most positive for you.

   Learn self maintenance skills:
      cooking, nutrition, cleaning, first aid, gardening/farming;

   Relocate if possible/necessary to:
            a region of low density population,
              on land with an elevation of 500 feet plus,
                not near fracture zones or volcanoes,
                 far from major centres in politically challenged countries
         (Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, U.S.S.R., Southeast Asia, U.S.A.),
   Construct a low maintenance shelter not dependent on electricity, gas, or any other manufactured fuel;
   Accumulate in a long-term storage state enough food for 4 years, plus
     Water
     Fruit, vegetable and grain seeds
     Clothing, fabric,
     First aid supplies,
     Emergency heating.

   Assist a small group of like-minded persons to establish a mini-community.

If you chose to do the following, you will be annihilated by those you oppose or by the conditions you generate by opposing them:

Attempt to physically confirm earthbases of spaceperson groups;
Disrupt conspiracy origined plans, procedures or structures;
Live at the highest standard of living based on credit or crime;
Choose a state of denial about the information in this report;
Adopt an attitude of despair about your future and what you can do;
Expect that an accumulation of power or wealth will protect you;
Continue to be irresponsible in your actions and decisions.

A CAUTION:

In becoming stronger spiritually, you will gain the skill of communicating with the Holy Spirit through meditation and prayer.

To perfect this ability, you will likely find it necessary to be vigilant and humbling to continually determine how "clean" the communication is that you are receiving. The human EGO, in its modern patterning and with its large baggage of energy blocks, will frequently interfere with the "signals" and reverse or alter the message or reply provided for your benefit. As you become more free of energy blocks and stronger in your spiritual strength, your skills will enable you to ask any question you can conceive of and receive an answer which is correct and articulated to the degree that you can personally understand. Do not be shy.

The answers received through constructive prayer and meditation will be to the level of abstractness and technical specificity of which you are capable according to your awareness, experience and instruction. If you ask general questions when you could phrase and understand more specific answers, do not be surprised if answers are given which appear incomplete or incorrect. They will be, to the extent that you have not asked the question specifically enough or directly enough. There is no reason for you to beat around the bush with God: your motives and intentions are known before you open your mind or your mouth.

As you become more self-directed and free of intra-human dependency, remember that the answers which you receive and the knowledge which you come to possess are given to you in trust that you will use them constructively and that you will be courageous enough to admit of their Source. You will at times be challenged by shocking truths, abrupt suggestions, and always, by their accuracy. If you tell others, especially so-called human experts, your findings - they will usually scoff at you, ridicule you, humiliate you, ostracize you, beat you, laugh at you, gossip about you - consider yourself fortunate if one or two listen to you. If you tell peers, the information which God has conveyed to you - you will receive the same response as above. If you must relate the source to anyone, give credit where credit is due - to God: your treatment by others will be no worse than if you took credit for the discovery yourself, and, you will more quickly find more like-minded and supportive souls.

Expect to be frustrated and angered by the response from many who you speak to.
Yourself (1997) will not be the same as yourself (1990) and you will know that.
Trying to convey that reality to any of most other people will seldom be successful.
Try to express your meditation- and prayer-yielding truths as tactfully as possible.
Rather than making direct statements about the answer, enquire if the person is interested in that specific subject and has any knowledge or concern regarding it. If they do not, expressing it to them will not be constructive if it is perceived by them to be irrelevant. Do not seek to impress. Do not fall into the EGO trap of competing for or enjoying adulation and power based upon a Gift which God gave to you for constructive uses.

There will also arise many situations in which you know a diagnosis, a remedy, a design, an insight, or some other factor which the individual you are attending has been given the social authority to determine or judge. Situations arise in which humans require bureaucratic clearances, management sanctions, team support, confidential information and other forms of feedback where you know the answer they must find in order for them to feel justified in completing their task. Do not expect them to find other than the often incorrect assumptions which they are patterned to make each day in a rote-like manner. Education and income have little influence as to one's ability to be open, humble, capable of questioning and listening, or, to make correct conclusions.

Where and when possible, know to ask such persons only for the part of the information for which they have authority. When necessary, ask for their guidance or referral to the specialist who completes the next stage of the process you would like finalized. That is, do not spread details before a person who does neither need them, understands them, or, already has a perception tinged with pride and ignorance - yet does not need that information to perform their part of the task involved. Express patience and assertiveness whenever possible in such circumstances.

Recognize your own dependency upon the status quo whenever you are angered on finding that you must learn how to perform a task because the individual responsible for carrying out that task is irresponsible, ignorant, or incompetent. Such a situation may be God's incentive to you to increase your level of freedom and self-directedness so that your future adherence to the Guidance given to you is easier and more direct.

IN SUMMARY:
The following are general advisories.
Your own personal circumstances and resources and the timing and duration of your decision may not best be in accord with the general direction. ONLY a spiritual answer can Guide you to which decisions are relevant and best for you at any particular time. Do not expect that at the time of the decision, it will necessarily make rational sense to you. The benefit and wisdom of such a decision is often understood in the outcome.

If you have not acquired the meditative and prayer skills necessary to afford you with spiritual direction, try to find a resource person whom can "ask" the questions for you. Such persons are in all social levels and occupations and no social designation nor authoritative title is appropriate in distinguishing them. If you should desire such services, demonstrate your integrity by rewarding their efforts or skill with something of value: labour, capital, referrals, material goods. Such persons are rarely materially aware and are as likely to live in poverty as in wealth. It is an affront to your spiritual survival to take advantage of this aspect of their nature. Try to learn from them and try to gain your own spiritual talents.

IN GENERAL:

      Do NOT invest (time or money) in:
    • Banks
    • Stocks
    • Bonds
    • Mutual Funds
    • Retirement Funds
    • Insurance

Many of these formerly capital appreciation and security choices will die.
Term insurance (death benefit only) will be a good choice for the next several years for those so spiritually directed.

      Invest with extreme caution in:
    • Real Estate (specialized areas only)
    • Long-term storable commodities
    • Multi-level network marketing

      Invest with confidence in:
    • Spiritual development
    • Interpersonal skills
    • Survival skills
    • Long-term, low maintenance housing

ADAPTABILITY:
In the present and in the years ahead the degree to which each individual is adaptable to constructively cope with circumstances which may rapidly change, the more safe, secure and content that person will be. This is the opposite of the materialistic philosophy that builds the myth that the more material finiteness that one has in their life the more stable and predictable their future will be - and the more contented. Anyone who has lived through a severe earthquake, hurricane, tornado, tidal wave, volcanic eruption, illness, famine, fire, flood, war, near death experience, financial loss, or career interruption - knows that such stability is more a cultural fantasy than a reality.

Increasing through the 1980s and intensifying through the 1990s, there are an increasing number of North Americans who have sustained one or more of the above "severe" experiences, and, in trying to retain and regain their status quo material-based existence - have only immersed themselves deeper into turmoil. Whether you are aware of this reality or have chosen denial in the hope that such a reality will never affect you or those close to you will depend upon the relevancy of your planning for the future. Those who plan for this likelihood will not be crushed if and when such events should occur.

Ultimately, consider preparing yourself for a departure, permanently, from your present residence on 6 hours notice. The reality is that you may have only minutes to prepare or days. Determine what and how you would remove whatever material possessions you most value and are most practical to survival. That is, of all that you have, how much could you carry away with you or how much could you pack in your vehicle and transport with you.

You will quickly find how material-based your lifestyle, beliefs, behaviours and attitudes are.
You may also find out what material-based addictive habits you have: those things that you would not leave behind which have no practical survival value: alcohol, art, cigarettes, coffee, cosmetics, electronic games and equipment, furniture, jewelry, stylish clothing, specialized cooking and refrigeration units, suitcases which are large and heavy when packed, "toys", .... Every individual and every household will have an individualized selection which will depend upon -

    • a) how many persons are involved;
    • b) the mode of transportation to be used;
    • c) the degree of skill one has in organizing and packing;
    • d) the number of sentimental articles wanted;
    • e) the nature and degree of one's addictions;
    • f) the awareness of the persons involved;
    • g) the experience gained from prior preparations;
    • h) how developed one's spiritual skills are.

You will be more distraught, confused, likely to panic, despairing, frustrated, angry, intolerant, impatient, destructive, anxious, possessive, ruthless and emotionally intense, IF, you are unprepared. Hundreds of thousands of people are facing this challenge every year now. Most will have not prepared for such a change. The more material-based these persons are, the more likely it is that they will cope in destructive and inefficient manners. You have a choice.

You can begin by playing a game of "emergency evacuation."
All culturally beneficial "games" teach the participants skills which will enable them to cope better with the realities of life and the expectations of the particular culture. Cultural expectations which are out-of-line with survival skills have often been the downfall of earlier civilizations. It is the reality of life which is to be focused on here. Preparation can lead to confidence, self-directedness, response rather than reaction, hope, certainty, understanding, tolerance, patience, benevolence, calmness, charity, empathy, prayer, and emotionally balanced attitudes, feelings and behaviours. Your choice of heaven or hell depends upon what you know is the most constructive approach. Rich or poor, with or without a vehicle, number and age of participants and duration of the game will influence how you play the game but not whether you can play it or not.

Chose a weekend, long weekend, or part of your vacation time to test yourself.
Give yourself no longer than 6 hours to organize and pack. A list is helpful. At the appointed time, relocate with your selection of belongings to the family room, living room, garage, backyard tent, RV, tent-trailer, camping park, cottage, .... During your game, make a list of what you have not brought with you that is needed, and, what you could leave behind next time. Play this game at least once a month until you have perfected YOUR plan.

SPIRITUAL CONSIDERATIONS:
The New Testament of the Christians, St. Matthew: 6:19-25; 33,34; 7: 1-8.

"Lay not up for yourselves treasures (material extravagance) upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures (spiritual skill and strength) in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt (destroy), and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart (emotions and motivation) be also.

The light (motivator) of the body is the eye (perception, context): if therefore thine eye be single (focussed), thy whole body shall be full of light (commitment). But if thine eye be evil (negative in attitude), thy whole body shall be full of darkness (anxiety and intense emotions). If therefore the light (attitudes) that is in thee be darkness (negative, destructive, full of iniquities), how great (strong) is that darkness!

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (egotistical desires). Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your (physical needs) life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the (balanced) life more than meat, and the body than raiment (clothing and image)? ....

But seek ye first the kingdom of God (a balance of physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual harmony), and his righteousness (the truth and the correct decision according to the Holy Spirit); and all these things shall be added unto you (will be made available to the degree necessary). Take therefore no thought for the morrow (live each day with the integrity that it may be your last: leave nothing that you would do tomorrow undone if you can do it today): for the (considerations of the) morrow shall take thought for the things of itself (cannot be determined ahead of time). Sufficient unto the day (each day has enough of) is the evil (challenge of decisions) thereof.

Judge not (with pride, intolerance and rational authority), that ye not be judged (in the same manner). For with what (style of decision making) judgement ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure (degree of harshness or compassion) ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

And why beholdest thou the mote (the errors or wrongs) which is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam (physical, emotional and intellectual addictions/patterns of reaction) that is in thy own eye (motivations, attitudes and perceptions)? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam (lack of awareness) of thine own eye (motivations, attitudes and perceptions); and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote (misdirection) out of thy brother's eye.

Give not that which is holy (spiritual) unto the dogs (those concerned about physical desires primarily), neither cast ye your pearls (wisdom) before swine (the self-obsessed), lest they trample (ridicule and reject) them under their feet, and turn again (their lack of awareness and intolerance) and rend (destroy) you.

Ask (the Holy Spirit through meditation and prayer), and it (the answer, the opportunity, the skill, the appropriate) shall be given you; seek (through effort and reverence), and ye shall find; knock (try, persist), and it shall be opened (successful) unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened."

Plan for Balance, not for Extremes:
The object of your planning endeavours will be most positive if you try to balance the development of self-sustaining skills and the acquisition of necessary related resources with the present use of low waste, high quality, items and materials which enable you to more efficiently maintain or increase your income. The more you can build your capacity for a self-sustaining lifestyle, the greater will be your freedom to pursue a spiritual direction and build spiritual skills.

In a material-based society, social participation will encourage the development of behaviours and attitudes which promote the iniquities which are the consistent indicators of the downfall of humanity and the direct cause of ALL of the ills of humanity. Full envelopment in a materialistic status quo has always DEMANDED the subservience of the morals of the individual to the wishes and inclinations of the crowd. Your challenge is to maintain yourself and your family within a modest lifestyle while earning the freedom to make choices. That freedom will decide the satisfaction and the viability of your continuing life.

LIFESTYLE SELECTION:

The most obvious state of awareness that can be derived from the real history of humanity is that continued participation in a material-based culture WILL encourage spiritual degradation: envy, greed, pride, irreverence, possessiveness, lust, gluttony, anger, vengeance, sloth, co-dependency, despair, depression, addictions, chronic illnesses .... A more positive alternative is to build a form of self-sufficient lifestyle in which interaction with others is by choice rather than by necessity. Interaction which by choice has the potential to easily exhibit respect, honesty, caring, sharing, loving, trust and reverence - in a mutual form of expression.

Necessary interactions are indicated by the slave dependency of a capital- and material-based economy in which an exchange of services, products and capital have become mandatory for one's immediate survival. Such relationships are frequently beset by deception, manipulation, egotism, distrust, and, all of the iniquities mentioned earlier. If you are now motivated to make this change you will benefit by recognizing that the rate and degree of such a change to be adopted will be most constructively considered on an individual basis.

Some individuals and families will be able to immediately begin, or continue to make, such a reorientation; others, will by personal capabilities and resources require months or years to effect the same. Many of you will, by your current enslavement, be required to work within the status quo systems. For positive spiritual change, while involved within the status quo system you are best advised to "give to Caesar that which is Caesar's" : obedience of the laws; payment of applicable taxes; conscientious objection from military service; aware participation in the political process; electronic payments.

Devastating errors have been made repeatedly in the past, and continue into the present - in which spiritually degraded persons have responded to an increased awareness of reality by participating in and encouraging political rebellion. Doing so almost always results in the rationalized as "justified" use of force against you. The result: A worse reality for all. The key is a choice of Values.

Intimate Relationships:
Note that there are considerable health risks in a modern intimate relationship.
Intimate contact will transfer various endemic parasitic and viral diseases from an infected to a non-infected person and the potential for the transfer of addictive co-dependent behaviours is also high. Some of these possibilities include candidiasis, chlamydia, alcoholism, drug dependency, tuberculosis, and a long list of other venereal and parasitic infections.

If you are already in such a relationship, make every effort for the health of both of you, to acknowledge, confirm, treat, and prevent a reoccurrence of any chronic diseases which either of you now have. A period of abstinence may be advisable for 3 to 6 months minimum during detoxification. This need not exclude sensual contact and emotional support.

Acknowledgement and support from a close companion can make this period quite constructive in terms of health improvement, advancement of spiritual skills and increased appreciation of one another. Make your goal one of building a reality in which you can and will remain lifelong partners. As you are now aware of, it is tremendously more of an advantage to jointly work toward an increasingly respectful, independent, and assertive relationship in which each person contributes for the benefit of personal satisfaction and service to another.

DEBT and WELFARE:
A Severe Disadvantage to independent and constructive decision-making is that of being capital deficient in a capital-based economy. This section is included to enable you to empathize with those who are in this position and to emphasise as to why you want to avoid falling into such a trap.

In a declining capitalist economy in which phrases such as "downsizing," "rationalization of requirements," "budget deficit," "amalgamation," and "re-ordering of economic priorities" are euphemisms for layoff and bankruptcy - the reality is that any risk taken can be devastating. Of the many individuals and families who have and are becoming debt-ridden or forced into welfare or government assistance lifestyles - few planned for it to be that way. In reality, many did plan and were hopeful of a good material future based upon assumptions which they made. What went wrong?

If you base your decisions on assumptions and expectations which have no basis beyond that of political promotion and advertising hype, your hopes will often be subverted. While a few citizens in North America have questioned the excessive spending of their governments for the past 30 years, their political representatives, most of whom had never operated a business, assured them that everything would be safe. Mass media advertising, television lifestyle examples and a lack of effective spiritual direction either in the churches, schools, or government - have encouraged everyone to become materially obsessive and dependent.

It isn't that you could not have done with less, it is that you were persuaded that there was no reason for you to do with less. In fact, many people who earned moderate to good incomes were frequently discouraged from planning for a future which the mass media and political decision-making continually presented as depressing and non-existent. Yet that future has arrived and you are now challenged to live through it.

By considering the disadvantages of being a capital-slave, you will hopefully be motivated to preserve, or attain your self-sufficiency and your capital independence. How you spend any surplus is your choice and your opportunity. In a capital based society, the individual MUST be able to pay for the following, or, essentially, they have become unemployable:

- shelter;
- food;
- phone;
- fares;
- bank account.

Without shelter, you are homeless.
Virtually no-one hires a homeless person. By circumstance and facilities available, most are unwashed, malnourished, lacking suitable clean clothing, diseased, and, depressed. If you have shelter, you may have varying and additional utility expenses for water, heating, electricity and garbage removal. Count these as all part of your shelter expense. Regardless of the type of shelter (tent, camper, mobile home, room, apartment, condominium, house, ...) you will have either rent, taxes, land rental, or a combination. Shelter, for most humans, is mandatory if you are to be able to provide consistent labour or services to others or for yourself.

In a capital-based society, a capital-deficient person who has any hope of gaining capital sufficiency must often pay for their shelter before obtaining their food. Rent or mortgage payments are almost always required in advance; cost for food is usually made on the basis of how much you buy and when. And when money is scarce, food is typically purchased on an as-required basis. The challenge for many people who arrive at poverty is to buy what is required for YOUR balanced nutrition and not just what you want, what you are accustomed to, or, what you think you should have. Humans of different ages require different proportions of protein in their diet to maintain optimum health.

Food preparation can often save 50% of the cost over prepared or fast food options.
Buying in bulk and buying most of your food at the beginning of the month is not a constructive option for materially disadvantaged families. Inevitably this leads to overeating at the beginning of the month and near starvation at the end of the month. The human body tends to adapt to this cycle by converting as much food to fat as possible so that there will be calories available for the next starvation period. This results in overweight people with low incomes, low energy resources, a tendency to become physically unfit, a lowering of self-esteem, and an increase in periods of depression. The alternative is to eat what seems to be, but is not, a starvation diet all month.

The following are a very few suggestions which can encourage you to think of others which are appropriate for you in planning your shopping. More than 60% of humanity does not grow their own food supply. Most persons are familiar with the food groups suggested for a balanced diet: vegetables, fruit, protein, carbohydrate, fat, and water. Regardless of popularized diet plans and theories, there is no one set of food type proportions which is best for everyone. Only meditation and self-awareness or muscle-testing can guide you as to what your body needs for its optimum functioning at any one time. Most plans intended to assist persons receiving government assistance or who are otherwise poor do neither promote nor teach these approaches to nutrition.

It is also a basic consideration that fresh fruits and vegetables have a storage life of days, not weeks, and must be purchased at intervals during the month, or, purchased, prepared, stored and proportioned for optimum use. Dry foods not stored in resealable glass or plastic containers are likely to become contaminated by insects, moulds, or microrganisms. Hot cereals (eaten hot or cold) are vastly cheaper than cold cereals and are usually more nutritious. Frozen vegetables may prove less wasteful than fresh vegetables and still be almost as nutritious. Rice may be more economical than pasta and sauce or potatoes. Water may be made more tasty and healthy by the addition of a little lemon juice. When your income is limited and you food self-sufficiency is nil, the question of food is more one of what do you need rather than what would I like.

In North America and many other industrialized societies, any inability to reach you, or for you to reach others, discounts you from the workforce. Many prospective employers are now even requiring that applications be forwarded by e-mail and rejecting those that have been mailed or faxed. In addition, an increasing number of employers want the facility of being able to contact you about last minute changes in your daily working hours, and, for you to contact them in a timely manner if you are going to be late or have become ill and can't make it to work at all. An inability for your creditors to reach you by phone often escalates their decision to refer your account to a collection agency. Access to prospective employers and government and other services can be greatly facilitated by having access to a cellphone, and/or VOIP (Voice Over Internet Phone) service.

Family, friends, associates, and relatives can be of great assistance to an income-poor or job-hunting person by providing them with referrals, contacts, newspaper notices, suggestions, encouragement, ... on an as available basis. For many persons in such a position, positive social contact can mean the difference between a hopeful day and a depressing one. If you are using public transit and need directions which are fast and efficient in getting you to a job interview, a presentation, or a business meeting, a phone call to the transit information service can save you valuable time and expense. Without a phone, a worker, or would be worker, is forced to make all contacts by incurring the expense of travel. For a capital deficient person, travel is a luxury.

While working from home is becoming more considered, most people with a limited income and virtually no savings do not have the opportunity. If you do not have to travel to an office or work location, it is likely that you will need to visit your client for meetings and transfer of information and documents, pickup materials from your suppliers, shop for food, visit libraries and government offices, pay bills, cash cheques, attend a work site. If you are poor, you either don't have a vehicle, don't have a vehicle which operates, or can't afford and shouldn't have a vehicle.

The alternative is to have sufficient money for fares.
Bus, taxi or train - all are cheaper modes of transportation unless you require your vehicle to do your job, and, your job pays you enough to cover the operating cost of the car (gas, oil, maintenance, licence, insurance, repairs, and amortized cost). To the extent that you don't have adequate monies for fares or transportation, that is the degree to which you must decline opportunities. Remember, if you have the degree of limited income relevant for this section, you probably do not have the technology or capital required to enable you to work from home, without going into debt.

In an effort to reduce cost and limit debt, many companies have re-oriented their payment of salaries and wages to direct deposit to a bank account. Many government services have followed in this direction also. In addition to eliminating what was becoming a costly and frustrating trend of fraudulent or forged cheques, direct deposit saves a huge amount of paper, can reduce postage, increase timeliness of payment, and reduce the necessity to personally travel to the bank. In addition, the payment of bills and the cashing of a cheque at a bank has increasingly become difficult for those without a bank account.

For the financially disadvantaged person, account monthly minimum charges, cheque charges, and deposit charges have become more routine expenses than they were 16 years ago. To the degree that you lack self-sufficiency, you are attached to the above expense categories. Taking these considerations into account, add up what your minimum total monthly costs would be. Remember, this does not include any payments against outstanding debts, attendance at social events, clothing, cosmetics, toiletries, entertainment, snacks, pocket money - or addictions.

The person who has fallen off the employment - capital income wagon falls even further faster if they have ANY addictive habits. These include the use of alcohol, tobacco, coffee, illegal drugs, medications, mail-order memberships, .... Sports addictions (fan-ship) and sexual addictions are also out because they drain away the individual's time and capital in support of non-income earning activities. Spending income on any of the above only makes the balance of the other "necessities" worse. And now that you've calculated your expenses, don't expect government assistance to cover them: it likely won't.

FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE:
Financial Independence occurs when you can supply your Standard-of-Living without having to provide further products or services for someone else with the expectation that they will trade capital with you with which you hope to be able to trade or to buy other goods or services from someone else. For you to have a pretext of material security in the future you need to carefully plan for a state of Financial Independence.

Almost all present human political systems mandate that the individual become dependent upon the state and co-dependent upon many other individuals within the society. This enhances group productivity and concentrates the power of the individual in the control of the leaders of the state and the social institutions. This can work reasonably well when the individual is kept openly and truthfully informed of any policy changes which are being made on his or her behalf, and, when the individual maintains a position of self-responsibility and self-directedness by taking an interest in the decisions being made on his or her behalf and provides feedback when there is any element of confusion or disagreement.

This balance of responsibilities has been demonstrated as impossible to maintain through most of human recorded history. In the more recent period of the past 3000 years, the probability of the development and continuation of such a society has become increasingly remote as humans have become increasingly committed to political systems which are constructed on abuse of authority and power. To the extent that a political system is stable, there are opportunities for recovery. At this time, the endemic anarchy building within ALL major human nations precludes any possible recovery. If you agree, from the overview of the facts presented, then the greater your dependency - the greater will be your eventual hardship and disruption of standard-of-living. If you believe that continuing to follow the status quo will protect you, the facts of history appear to be less important than your obsessions.

It is a fact that in ANY economy or political system, the lower your Capital Dependency and the higher your Self-Sufficiency - the easier it will be for you to maintain a given standard-of-living. Even more basic than these considerations, and, often not carefully reflected on - is the level of material comfort which you set for yourself and your family as the standard of normalacy. If you live in a tent on inexpensive land you own, have a source of firewood, a garden, a bicycle, and several goats - your capital requirements to attain financial independence will be quite modest. If you live in a 5,000 square foot stone-faced mansion on an estate-sized lot with a heated in-ground swimming pool, tennis courts, 3 luxury cars, 4 servants, a horse stable, and you prefer to eat imported food and wear designer clothing - your capital requirements will be considerably higher than the previous example. You must decide what you are capable of stabilizing within 5 to 10 years - and with the recognition that after that period you may not have any requirement for housing or transportation.

STARTING CAPITAL:
The stumbling blocks which many individuals have at this time which makes the recommendation of the development of a self-sustaining lifestyle a difficult and extreme sacrifice for many people include these:

- debt;
- standard of living expense;
- income dependency on others as employees;
- low level of savings or residual income.

EMPLOYMENT/INCOME:
Business Ownership:
Business success is dependent upon capital appreciation: profit.
Sales of products or services which cost more to provide than can be earned result in material loss and disadvantage to the supplier and can lead to dependency, poverty, and bankruptcy. Sales of products or service which only provide an income equal to the expenses involved endangers the continuance of the business because there is no allowance for losses which may arise from any of many changes in the marketplace.

If sources of capital become undependable or non-existent, then regardless of the need for your product or service, it will not be purchased and you will be disadvantaged for your time: your effort and capital spent to make that service or product available will be wasted. Nevertheless, unless your have abundant capital reserves at the present, you will need to try to generate those reserves such that you may reach a point of self-sufficiency.

There will be a short period of time during which there is the appearance of economic stability and possibly growth in some areas of involvement. If you own a business, totally or in part, formulate a 2-year plan for the market preparation of your business: plan to sell it. Determine what actions you must take during the selected period in order to make your business fulfill the good business investment expectations of a prospective buyer. Obvious considerations include these: specialization on high turnover moderate profit margin products or services with some aspect of exclusivity; reduce overhead costs through effective training, supervision, customer service, timely billing and collection, and multiple skill staffing.

For effective staffing, ensure that your staff are adequately skilled to perform at least 2 employee functions for your company. This provides you and them with a greater degree of flexibility resulting in potentially greater staff stability and greater staff self-directedness. Whenever, and as soon as, you can assess your business as having reached a point of "buyer attractiveness" which is as high as you believe you can reasonably attain within your time frame - sell it. If at the end of the 2-year duration your business appears to have continued potential for attainment of profit stability and expansion - make the decision to sell, or, to continue for a time, on a spiritual basis. Ultimately, you want to market and sell your business in enough time such that you can acquire those assets which would enhance your future lifestyle of self-sufficiency - before the capital market collapses.

(MLS):Network Marketing - Multi-Level Sales:
This represents an ever growing North American and industrialized world status quo of market development. It can be a method of enhanced customer service, product quality and marketing efficiency in the capitalistic economy. It will prove materially very beneficial for a minority of participants and materially devastating for another minority. The vast majority of those involved enter by way of a variety of self-deceptions or marketing deceptions.

The foundation of the "Network Marketing Movement" has long consisted of the following pillars:

   a) an employment market which increasingly does not reward personal effort;
   b) impersonal treatment of employees within large employer structures;
   c) increasing instability in an industrializing and automating economy;
   d) average mass market product quality is low;
   e) average mass market product cost is low;
   f) average mass market product profit is low;
   g) inclusion in the material/income elite is not easy for the average person;
   h) social alienation grows by one's inability to maintain material status quo;
   i) lack of material and social status encourages the development of obsessions.

To build on these pillars, most network marketing companies adopt the following structure, policies, and attitudes:

   A) an emphasis on effort rather than skill;
   B) a requirement for social interaction confused with sales techniques;
   C) intensive involvement without correlation to income earned;
   D) product quality is often high, or, presented as such;
   E) product cost is usually comparable to or higher than mass market items;
   F) product profit must be high to provide for multiple incomes;
   G) membership in the material/income elite is presented as simplistic;
   H) a presentation emphasis is placed upon mob/crowd persuasion techniques;
   I) an obsession with profit and persuasion supersede service and honesty.

CAUTIONS:

   1. Effort without skill nor long-term market focus, usually fails;

   2. Professional sales techniques rely on real benefits and persuasion -
         - encouraging someone to buy a product as a "friend", is deception;

   3. The opportunity of earning large sums of capital for little effort ...
         ... also equals the potential for earning small sums for huge effort;

   4. High quality, higher-than-average cost items are NOT affordable to all;

   5. With average disposable incomes having reduced for 12 years as a trend,
         ... real, unleveraged (by credit) market opportunities have also reduced;

   6. Great numbers of financially desperate individuals tend to evolve which
         ... undercut the market of the more successful by selling at a discount;

   7. Success in network marketing is consistently tied to one or several of:
    • early entry into a newly formed network marketing program;
    • business expertise and integrity of the founders;
    • initial skill competency of the new member or associate;
    • quantity of Relevant prospects personally known by the new member;
    • capital available to maintain sales volume during low sales periods;
    • capital available to maintain adequate demonstration product;
    • continuation of product quality and market competitiveness;
    • continued introduction of new products to market to current clients;
    • devotion of all energies and resources to business development;
8. Decisions made under the duress of crowd enthusiasm are often poor - if you can calmly decide with a true awareness of the potentials, and following reflection & meditation, the outcome will be more positive; 9. If you are fully devoted to the expansion of material wealth, what can you expect to gain in spiritual growth?

With some of the "success" factors mentioned above, AND a willingness to forego the risk of delayed spiritual development required for survival relative to increasing possibilities for future catastrophe, a good possibility exists for you to make financial gains in such a business.

Should you find that you cannot seriously consider the cautions described above then note that you are responding to the "opportunity" with the obsessive patterning of a trauma source energy block; the result of such reactions is always, eventually, destructive. Cope with the obsession (for material wealth, for social acceptance, for self-esteem, for security, ...) BEFORE making a decision on whether to follow the crowd or not.

There is always a third, or fourth, or ... alternative solution to any problem.
IF you cannot see a third alternative to your financial dilemma/opportunity, this also indicates obsessive reactive either/or attitudes and behaviour. There are more alternatives than either following the employer-employee status quo (older) or following the recruiter-recruiter status quo (newer) forms of capital appreciation.

In the times of strife and economic insufficiency which will be ahead, network marketing can provide a resource by which some higher quality products can be easily obtained at a discount.

BE AWARE that eventually, external sources of supply will likely be terminated by natural, political or economic causes. If you have allowed yourself to become totally dependent upon mass produced food, you will starve. If you have become totally dependent upon mass transit or the use of vehicles which are dependent upon a manufactured source of power, you may become stranded. Experiment by living for a day in each season of your locale without the use of electricity, gasoline, municipally supplied water and sewage disposal, telephones, battery operated devices, fresh supplies of mass produced foods or other products. Use this experience as an awareness expansion tool to consider how you would be able to live comfortably if this situation persisted, not for a day, but for 10 years!

      Products meriting consideration & available through Network Marketing:

    • storable meal replacements;
    • low energy or non-electrical food processing appliances;
    • natural fabric clothing: cottons, silk, down, wool, ...;
    • concentrated biodegradable detergents and shampoos;
    • herbal teas, concentrated juices in tablet form;
    • timed release Vitamin C, 500 IU or higher;
    • cleansing products for maintenance of and improved health;
    • healing promoters: vitamin A and E cremes,
      Melaleuca T40C5,
      NuSkin Celltrex, ...;
    • skin damage controls: sun screens rated 40, and above
      natural source moisturizers;

Do not expect to find one Network Marketing -- Multi-Level Sales organization which provides a full range of relevant products, on the basis of your conclusions from this report. Most such companies have chosen their product lines purely on the basis of the satisfaction of the vanities, indulgences, and ignorance of the masses. In a capital-based society encouraged for decades to be consumption oriented and politically manipulated, such a focus has frequently proven to be highly profitable. In the period of time ahead, these trends will intensify, briefly, and then collapse - as survival becomes paramount.

Once again, if you deny the predictions and prophesies noted in the report - you cannot deny the consistently enlarging proportion of the human population which is having to cope with employment loss and downsizing resulting in either a reduced cost lifestyle or an increased debt burdened future. The choices considered positive in this report prepare the individual and family to best cope with such changes.

HOUSING:
The following are target considerations; ALL are important.

a) Locate on well drained soil;
b) Locate with an assured source of clean water;

Marriage:
This is a very positive decision only if it will be constructive.

    • Avoid marriage for love which is centred on physical attraction/sex;
    • Become someone who shares your Spiritual goals (intentions) and attitudes;
    • Become someone who can be self-sufficient and not have to depend on others;
    • Become someone who can acknowledge their strengths and weaknesses;
    • Become someone who likes themselves and respects others;
    • Know and understand the other person's culture thoroughly;
    • Become someone who can be an empathetic companion;
    • Be prepared to offer, or work to provide, all that you seek;
    • Become someone who can listen and offer acknowledgement;
    • Become someone who can be tolerant of the individuality of others;
    • Become someone who has shown a capacity to sacrifice when constructive;
    • Become someone who others can depend on to do their best;
    • Become someone who is striving to ever be a better person;
    • Become someone who prays or meditates on a daily basis;
    • Become someone others can trust and not worry about;
    • Become someone who values truth and honesty.

If you are unwilling to become ALL of the above, then unnecessary discord will follow.
None of the above costs money, although self-development courses can enhance your abilities.
All forms of love, including the physical, are enhanced and possible with the person who can provide, or, is willing to develop, the above patterns of thinking and responding.

It will be better to remain single in the future than to initiate a relationship certain to fail or be highly destructive.

Having a BABY:
With the turmoil ahead until the year 2030, it is heartless to bring a new child into a dying world.
Wait until your world is reborn. If you have material sufficiency or wealth now, expect to lose it. If you have happiness and contentment now, expect that your emotions and spirit will be challenged. Ask yourself seriously: "What can I offer this child as a future?" Unless you are self-sufficient in food production, energy generation, housing and clothing - you will have misery and challenge to offer a newborn.

There are many forms of birth control, although most are primitive, in accord with human priorities.
In order of effectiveness in a depressed economy and political anarchy there are the following:

a) spiritual devotion; b) mutual pleasuring; c) condoms; d) sterilization.

All of the above must be utilized or performed constructively and correctly if they are to be effective.
Personal sterilization is the best method for the male who already has 2 or 3 children.

Complex methods of birth control, which may require routine examinations by a doctor and a supply which is difficult to store, are not suggested as store products and doctors may not be available for you. Abortion should never be used as a method of birth control for it confirms the irresponsibility of the pregnancy originators or the inadequacy of the method used in the hope of preventing a pregnancy. Abstention for humans is usually impossible without the generation of negative attitudes and self-image. Spiritual devotion does not involve abstinence for the sex drive ceases to be present and does not require sacrifice, avoidance, repression or obsession.

Need, Dependency, Self-Sufficiency, Freedom, Survival:
BE AWARE that IF the product, or service, is something which you can personally benefit from now, and can afford to purchase without increasing your debt, and is competitively priced to similar quality products in the general market - then it will reduce your expenses and negative stress levels.

BE AWARE that IF the product or service increases your dependency upon the source of supply by discouraging you from developing the capacity to produce your own item, your capacity for future happiness and survival will lessen.

BECOME self-directed so that there is no need for a limitation to the point that you are actively developing a knowledge of or skills associated with gardening, or other forms of food production, while purchasing a meal replacement, food supplement, ... as an immediate time saver.

Product Considerations:

AUTOMOBILES, TRUCKS, TRACTORS, RVs, ATVs - :
Before a catastrophe occurs, current increasing crime rates predispose any car worth over $18,000 a target for theft and/or parts removal. New and/or expensive appearance vehicles also suggest to the potential thief that valuables may be inside the car which are worth the risk involved in breaking into the vehicle.

Whenever a catastrophe happens, most vehicles will become useless.
Roads may become impassable making an offroad vehicle mandatory for such travel.
Supplies of fuel will also likely become minimal and the storage of fuel requires special care.
Anything of a complex mechanical and electronic nature is likely to become difficult to repair and more susceptible to breakdown.

Factors to consider:

a) If you are dependent upon work in a job which requires a vehicle,
          choose the least showy model which you expect will last 3 years;

b) Choose a high road clearance vehicle for emergency offroad travel;
   c) Consider a pre-electronic ignition vehicle to simplify maintenance;
      d) Learn all aspects of basic maintenance: you may have to do it;

e) Choose a model for which you can easily get replacement parts
           from an auto wreckers or junk yard, and, obtain such a supply;

f) There is no preferred fuel source after a catastrophe;
g) Plan on alternative inexpensive forms of transportation: walking, 2-speed bicycles, ...;
   h) If you can afford it, have the body covered with fibreglass;
     i) Avoid plastic trimmings;
       j) Add seat belts.

BACKPACK, KNAPSACK -
When transporting additional clothing or supplies from one location to another, a suitable backpack is much more healthful than a duffle bag, suitcase, box, trunk, bag, or small cart. Depending on your lifestyle, it may be most practical to use several sizes, according to capacity required. All other carry units (and improperly used knapsacks) add great physical strain to the spine, shoulder and arm bones, tendons, and muscles.

Look for a unit which can be adjusted to fit appropriately on your back according to its size and the length of your trunk. Improperly fitted backpacks are uncomfortable, unstable, and may place added physical strain on you than is necessary. A waterproof nylon will often prove to be longer lasting and more durable than cloth or plastic, or leatherette. Draw string closures around the major openings with push button style locking clips provide for the greatest degree of access and closure without undue complication. Smaller pockets will often be closed with one zipper, or, two opposing zippers which you can select to meet anywhere along the closure. The latter provide for the capability of attaching a small lock for security.

For large backpacks, consider dividing up the contents of the main bag with smaller drawstring closure tube bags. These allow for easy and quick access to almost anything you have with you without the sloppiness of emptying everything out individually onto the floor, ground, or a table. Ensure that the shoulder straps are well padded and can be adjusted so that they lie across parts of your anatomy without discomfort or chafing. External side, top, bottom, and front pockets with push-to-snap interlock catches can enable you to place frequent use items, identification, snacks, and foul weather accessories, close at hand. Best quality units are often to be found in mountaineering or sporting stores.

Learn how to most easily put on the backpack in one flowing movement rather than in a series of struggling pulls and twists. This often means placing the sack in front of you, facing away from you, on the floor, a bench or a chair. Crossing your arms in front of you, grab the shoulder straps with your palms underneath facing upwards, slightly bend your knees, take a breathe. As you exhale, straighten your legs while lifting the pack and swinging it around your side up over your back. Next, allow the shoulder straps to slide down over your arms and onto your shoulders, bend forward slightly to support the weight on your back, tighten the straps and raise yourself erect again. The pack should not restrict your walking and arm movements and should feel relatively light compared to its pull weight if held by the arm at one's side.

CONTAINERS -
Most plastics will age (outgas/decompose) to a brittle state within one to 20 years.
Cold temperatures and sunlight accentuate brittleness or decay. Whenever possible replace plastic containers with sealable glass or pottery wares. These will retard the aging of the resources stored inside and will prevent contamination by insects. Never store resources in paper or cardboard containers as these invite damage from moisture, mould, and insects.

COOKWARE -
When you are planning for healthfulness, long-term use, low energy requirement, and low maintenance cost - consider china, clayware, and glass - in addition to seasoned cast iron. Like the consideration of some other options, one should consider more basic possibilities first: heating source and cooking surface.

If one wishes to reduce energy cost, the greatest reduction in a mass commercial society can be achieved by changing from a total reliance on electric or gas heated ranges and ovens to a toaster oven, crock pot, pressure cooker, camp stove, or, convection oven.

Metal cookware cannot be used or is not as effectively used in these cooking mediums as the other materials noted. In addition, aluminum cookware may leach toxic metal into your foods and most metal products are, in practice, more difficult to clean than glass or ceramic. Metalware is easier to transport safely; easier to heat warp; easier to scratch the finish of, and, tends not to distribute range heat evenly.

COSMETICS -
Most cosmetics are expensive, contain health endangering chemicals or natural source ingredients, which have limited practical value. Become familiar with the ingredients, recipes, and use of easy to obtain, grow or store raw materials. Make those natural products in smaller quantities sufficient to last no longer than 1 month. Long-term exposure of natural compounds to air, light, or warmth .. has the danger of contamination from moulds, oxidation and other toxic producing influences.

For optimal youthfulness and healthfulness of skin, the following simple factors are primary:

 a) a balanced diet for your individual lifesystem and lifestyle;
 b) regular periods of energetic exercise, sensual touch, and deep relaxation;
 c) suitable protection (from extremes of cold, heat, dampness and dryness);
 d) adequate cleansing: always finishing with cool water to close skin pores;
 d) learning of and practice of constructive coping skills.

While these may be simple factors, in concept, they can be challenging in reality.
Cosmetics are the quick and short-term fix, and usually little more than a cover-up, for damaged skin or destructive life patterns. All of the above noted factors are low in cost, high in life appreciation, and, challenging in self-directedness. Consider the alternative: what if your supply of cosmetics ceased tomorrow - how would you cope?

FABRICS -
Whether for clothing, bedding, wall or window coverings, or floor coverings - natural fabrics are much more healthful than synthetics if they are maintained properly. Wool, cotton, silk, leather and fur typically require less care than synthetics. None outgas the formaldehyde and sizing agents soaked into permanent press synthetics and synthetic material carpets. Formaldehyde has been used as a most toxic agent to lifeforms by national defense organizations attempting to prevent the spread of Ebola-type viruses as well as others. Numerous people have developed a hypersensitivity to the chemical and it is often a major component of indoor air pollution.

Synthetics often require chemical "dry" cleaning which is relatively expensive compared to laundry washing. The use of synthetic fabrics make you fully dependent upon chemical cleaning, high energy use processes, and high maintenance costs. It also saves most people personal maintenance/cleaning time and energy. You will have to balance your present lifestyle requirement for time with your intent to preserve or regain good health and the real possibility of a future energy shortage. What would happen if you could not have your clothing dry cleaned?

That is not to imply that natural source fabrics are simple to care for.
None should be kept in damp surroundings where they can become contaminated with mould spores and subject to rot. Neither should they be stored in dusty or open locations which encourage attack from insects. Citrus oil, cedar wood (solid, lining or chips), cinnamon oil, boracic (boric) acid powder, and natural source incense all deter insects while providing no health danger to humans.

Dressing in layers of clothing allows the individual to remove or add clothing according to activity and weather requirements thereby reducing the risk of chills or the sweat soiling of the clothing worn. For fabrics used within buildings, a modification to low energy, low maintenance structures will reduce the prospect of contamination by dust, spores or smoke from external air.

Down filled, or cotton kapok filled garments and bedding often last longer, outgas much less in toxic fumes, are more able to both breathe and retain heat, and, cost more than synthetic materials. Yet with proper care, as noted above, they can last longer than synthetics.

FIRE EXTINGUISHERS:
Learn basic fire-fighting skills and knowledge;
Obtain as many of the following as possible:

    • One 2-gallon container of sand per room, covered;
    • One 1-gallon container of water per room, covered;
    • One ABC-type portable unit per person;
    • Twice the suggested number of soda-acid extinguishers/building;
    • Keep matches in a sealed jar to keep dry and prevent ignition;
    • Provide rope ladders for elevated rooms;
    • Prohibit smoking within any building;
    • Place flammable liquids in a separate, vented, storeroom;
    • Use circuit breakers on electrical circuits, not fuses;
    • Keep magnetic media in a fireproof container.

FIREARMS -

In some environments, there are animals and reptiles which can endanger humans.
Most often, these lifeforms only attack humans if they are diseased (rabies) or feel threatened (intentionally or non-intentionally) by humans. Learn the lifestyle patterns of such lifeforms as are in your region or the regions you visit and work in. Knowledge of their tendencies, responses, weaknesses and strengths will assist you in making non-threatening movements and gestures which can quickly escalate a chance meeting into a life-or-death struggle.

In general, an understanding of reptiles (snakes, lizards, crocodiles) and insects (bees, wasps, mosquitoes, cockroaches, ants, spiders), can be beneficial. More humans die from small reptile and insect bites and attacks every year than from attacks from larger-than-human animals. Remember, a bite can cause injury, infect with bacteria or viruses, inject poison, or leave access for contamination. Guns have very little practical benefit against insects and small reptiles. Caution and the use of protective clothing are more effective, efficient, and safe.

FIRST AID -

  1. Learn the basics of first aid.
  2. Keep first aid instructions handy.
  3. Obtain the most extensive first aid assortment (kit) which you can afford.

      CAUTION: avoid cremes, ointments and sprays which contain phenyl.
      Add herbal remedies: (some examples)
    • Aloe vera creme or gel
    • Arnica ointment, Thompson's
    • Bach Flower remedies
    • Cranberry concentrate tablets
    • Echinacea tablets
    • Ginger tea
    • Licorice tea
    • Melaleuca T40-C5
    • Vitamin C tablets (timed release)
    • Vitamin E creme
    • Zinc tablets
Store free from moisture, heat, condensation, insects.

FOOTWEAR -
Most everywhere, footwear is required by humans to protect the foot from abrasion from hard, uneven, or jagged surfaces. Protection is paramount for without one's feet, it is difficult to maintain one's self-sufficiency or attain it. Injuries to feet and hands are among the more frequent in agricultural and industrialized societies. Protection from self-damage takes the form of ensuring adequate comfort and support.

Proper width and appropriate arch support for you personally are necessary in order not to place undue strain on the remainder of your skeletal structure. Improper foot support can result in spinal subluxations, hip strain, digestive problems, increased anxiety and headaches. Length is a secondary requirement after the other two factors have been met. Footwear that is too short or too cramped for the toes will encourage the development of malformed toes, improper balance, leg and back strain, corns and callouses, ingrown toenails and bacterial and fungus infections. Footwear which is half an inch longer than ones foot is ideal; if necessary, longer is better than shorter. If the arch support or required width is difficult to attain for you, consider arch support insoles and/or multiple pairs of socks. Whatever the application, footwear should be found or made to be comfortable.

Secondly, depending upon the environment in which the footwear will be worn, determine whether you will need more than one form of footwear. If you will be working in executive and/or office positions, black oxford lace-up or slip-ons with metal toe and shank support will help protect your feet from injury. Safety supply and industrial supply stores may stock a wide range of sizes in styles from conservative business to standard oxford to nurses to industrial leather and industrial running shoes. Often they will be comparably priced to regular retail shoes; some may even be priced lower. Don't expect salespeople to wait on you or pressure you and you will likely never see any advertising for them. Prevention of injuries and the often chronic difficulties which follow need not be compromised by style expectations. In most, if not all circumstances, those around you will be unaware of the quality and protection which you have on your feet.

Thirdly, a good quality hiking and climbing boot for use in rainy or light snow periods and when crossing uneven terrain will help protect you from ankle twists, slip strains and falls. A thick corrugated synthetic sole will last longer than leather and provide greater non-slip ability. A waterproof leather tongue, sewn to the uppers almost to the top of the shoe, will limit water soaking during temporary exposures to shallow water depths and snow. Lacing through external eyelets and around metal stays makes lacing, unlacing and tightening much easier and faster than using eyelets set into the leather upper.

It is advisable to stock an extra pair of laces, and depending on your lifestyle, keep them in your home, car, knapsack or jacket pocket. For heavy duty use, leather laces may be obtained from your shoe and leather repair shop. Cushioned uppers will provide comfort while allowing you to keep the shoes tied snugly with the benefit being both support for your ankles and protection against blows from sticks and stones. A wide variety of styles and often qualified advice may be gained from a mountaineering or outdoors store. Remember that answers can seldom be better than the questions asked.

If you should need added motivation to seriously plan for a safe and dependable future, consider this possibility: Picture yourself 6 months from now with 1 or both feet too injured to support your weight on. What if you had no access to public or private means of transportation. How would your lifestyle be affected? What if no elevators worked? Would two healthy feet be an advantage?

HERBS, EXTRACTS, TONICS, MEDICANTS -
Remember that these are not medicines and are not often used to treat disease.
Appropriate use will promote the strengthening of the individual's life system and by so doing may strengthen the individual such that afflictions may then me eliminated through an expression of humility, reverence, love, and the Grace of God.

Learn to recognize the indications of common patterns of health weakness, how to confirm such weaknesses, and how to determine which substances will be beneficial in removing the physical, emotional or spiritual blockages, toxins, noise - to enable healing. Be aware that balance is always the determining factor. Tonics which strengthen the human body also strengthen the parasites and viruses which attack the person.

Thus, in ridding oneself of destructive parasites, one must find a balance between the use of substances which drive the parasite out - and will weaken one's health, and, the use of an appropriate tonic to sustain an adequate level of strength within oneself in order to survive the treatment. Once infected with a contagious virus, one must likewise reach a balance of maintaining one's survival yet diminishing the likelihood of the survival of the virus.

In all cases, it is far better to build one's strength as a preventative of illness than to try and regain one's health after it has become weakened and broken.

PURIFIERS, Water -
Most municipal water supplies, at the point of delivery, and most groundwater supplies within 100 miles of a major city are contaminated with heavy metals, complex forms of toxic chemicals, and micro-organisms.

The best solution is to move to a sparsely populated area which has no industrialization nearby and which has adequate groundwater supplies. Very few of these regions now exist. Humans have overpopulated, polluted, or made technology dependant most such regions. Beware of simply moving to a rural area.

Not all regions have aquifers for groundwater supply; others may be contaminated with agricultural chemicals such as pesticides and herbicides. Sometimes moving from a region with higher levels of serious contaminants to one with lower levels may be an alternative. Lifestyle, employment and transportation may necessarily become a consideration.

The use of bottled water is best considered with caution.
Some supplies, despite their "clean" sounding names and advertising have high concentrations of toxins, relative to pure. Check the ingredient listing on the label. Concentrations of fluoride have been shown to be adverse to health, in general, since studies conducted in the 1930s. Individual distributors of popular brands have been discovered to be filtering municipal water in their municipal industrial unit and filling bottles which contain advisories that the source is a groundwater located hundreds of miles away.

The filtering method may have little influence on the removal of micro-organisms, and, may actually increase the presence of same. If you are adequately skilled, you may use muscle testing or mediation to determine the degree of acceptability of such waters, on a per container judgement. Technical verification is usually costly, complex and time demanding. Ultimately, bottled water is only as good as the source, its relative "pureness" over your local supply, the integrity of the distributor, and the transportation and storage methods used.

Another option for obtaining cleaner water is the use of water treatment systems.
In general, the more efficient the system used, the more expensive it is to purchase. Once obtained, all technical systems have costs involved with maintenance: filter replacement, membrane replacement, electrical consumption, disposal and replacement. Over the longer-term, the removal of heavy metals (such as lead and mercury), and of toxic chemicals (such as chlorine, hydrocarbons, pesticides, complex industrial compositions) is important and may be accomplished with a granulated activated charcoal filter. Unless impregnated with catalysts or other materials, these filters may not be of adequate quality or may tend to harbour micro-organisms within a period of months, depending on the source being filtered.

Short-term, an important consideration is the removal of micro-organisms which can produce parasitic, bacterial or viral infections. The presence of these in industrialized mass societies is increasing at an exponential rate. Most effective elimination systems utilize ozone treatment and/or U/V radiation treatment to kill or reduce the influence of such micro-organisms. Both treatments require an electrical source: a short-term storage tank with a supply adequate to serve you for 3 days is recommended. If any of these systems are considered, a supply of replacement filters and lamps should be maintained for the assurance of a longer-term supply of water.

While both distilling systems and reverse osmosis technologies have had their beneficial periods of application in the past, both of these are of limited practical application with most modern water supplies. Distilling systems are costly in their high energy requirement. They remove natural minerals which are beneficial to human health and thereby require replacement through supplementation. They many kill some micro-organisms but not all; some are condensed back into the new supply.

Micro-organisms are also a cautionary note with reverse osmosis membranes: some will pass through the membrane; others may contaminate or perforate the membrane. Membrane can be costly to replace and may require frequent replacement. The global maintenance of a clean water supply would have been the best option; humans are now left with the choice of a number of less than perfect options.

SUNSCREENS, SUNBLOCKS -
Protection from a destructive quantity or intensity of ultraviolet radiation is now required if skin and lifesystem health are to be maintained. Sunburn deteriorates skin and can lead to biological mutation of cells which may give rise to scaring, blemishes, sores, burns and cancer. Sun-weathering, that is, exposure of the skin to the dryness of excessive heat, cold and wind - can produce the same results. Due to a steadily decreasing integrity of the Earth's ozone layer, particularly over high pollution local regions and the polar regions, solar exposure in 1996 is now equal to double the duration of just 10 years previous.

Sunscreens reduce the ultraviolet intensity from what is present to what is desired.
Shelter is an obvious defense. The more time spent in a building, tent, forest, cave, underwater, underground, or outside after dark - the less U/V radiation you will be exposed to. A second level of protection is clothing which blocks the U/V ray penetration either by absorption or reflection. Loose weave and thin fabrics usually afford little protection. Pharmaceutical preparations are also available and are rated according to how many times they decrease the influence of the U/V rays available.

Protections are usually decreased in effectiveness through perspiration, swimming and washing and may require an initial "seasoning" time to become effective on your skin. Any rating less than 25 will be of limited value; sunscreens are available with ratings of 40. Smog, clouds and haze may filter visible light; they have a much reduced influence on U/V rays. Products with acids, alcohols and hormones as ingredients are potentially destructive to the skin and one should consider avoiding them.

SWEEPERS or VACUUM CLEANERS?

Vacuum cleaners require electricity.
Often they require replacement filter bags.
They are more versatile than sweepers.
They are more popular than sweepers.
They have more wear and maintenance parts than sweepers.
They can be costly to repair.
They cost much more than a sweeper.

If one's intent is to increase in self-sufficiency and decrease in dependency on mass society utilities, capital cost supplies and maintenance, and, reduce environmental impact - vacuum cleaners are seldom a wise singular technology and dependency. First, a consideration, before making the choice of which cleaning medium, is a choice of what will require cleaning. A change to ... either by rebuilding, sale and repurchase, or remodelling ... a low maintenance environment, decreases the requirement for heavy duty cleaning. Surfaces of ceramic, glass and wood (and wood laminates and composites) require much simpler "dust and soil" cleaning than carpeting, fabric and plastic. They also emit fe or none of the toxic outgasing which attends the more synthetic products.

Concrete can be finished with highly durable sealers which eliminate dusting and enable easy cleaning.
A change from open window dust and spore infiltration to one of filtered air exchange can also decrease cleaning requirements and increase air healthfulness. An entranceway designed to accommodate outdoor footwear and outdoor outer clothing can further maintain the cleanliness of the interior of a building. If some or all of these possibilities can be realized, a sweeper can be adequate as a singular or primary device.

TECHNOLOGIES, SATELLITE-DEPENDENT -
GPS locators, satellite-based TV reception (most), portable phones (some), popular media weather forecasts, and INTERNET-based services are all dependent on the successful use of static positioned satellites. These satellites are themselves dependent upon static conditions in their environment and the longevity of their components.

The universe is not a static medium.
Sunspot activity influences the positioning and flight integrity of human-made satellites and has threatened their existence and efficiency in the past. Thousands of meteorites enter the Earth's atmosphere daily. Should any one strike a satellite such that the power components or the logic is damaged, the satellite will become useless. Military capabilities of destroying satellites has existed for some time.

Satellites are repositioned periodically by signals from their Earth bases to correct for less critical changes induced by solar or other influences. Someday, hackers, terrorists, and anarchists will know what signals to send to disorient or drop from orbit these instruments worth hundreds of millions of dollars. If your ability to function without these services was challenged, how would you cope? Test yourself, try living comfortably, relaxed, and constructively for 7 days without these services - on 25 minutes notice.

The question is not whether you should or should not use such devices; rather, it is whether you are so dependent upon (addicted to) them that your survival without them would be hazardous to you mental, emotional and spiritual health. Of course, if you are not, then you won't have a second thought about taking the test and you won't make rationalizations about why you won't. A non-addict has that kind of choice; an addict always faces the sudden potential of a painful withdrawal during which constructive decision making is often compromised. Find out now when you can remedy or affirm your level of coping, or, wait until you are challenged - and lack the resources to survive.

TIME MANAGEMENT -
Time is of the essence, you know this.
You will only be able to carry out your activities effectively AND make provision for the family, intimate, religious, social, and political aspects of your life if you provide your own planned, and alterable, schedule.

The benefits can include:
   a) fewer disappointments for yourself;
   b) the maintenance of your integrity with others;
   c) facilitation of appointment and meeting planning;
   d) opportunity for activity assessment;
   e) a guide to a balanced lifestyle;
   f) development of priorities;
   g) reduction of anxiety and confusion;
   h) an opportunity for self-direction;
   i) less reliance on reaction and more use of creative response.

Products for Time Management are numerous and range from do-it-yourself items to extensive lifestyle organizers. The products you chose should be considered on the basis of -

   1. goals.
   2. affordability;
   3. career or business choice;
   4. current complexity of your lifestyle;

Goals:
Goals may be non-existent, pattern-dependent, material-based, ego-obsessed, spiritually-guided, or, a combination of some of the foregoing. Unless you have non-existent goals, you can benefit from time management skills, and, from time management products. Since you are reading this, you have some goals. The more goals you have and the more materially-based they are, the more you can make use of the benefits of a time management system.

A basic statement of one's goals can be:

   What do I want to be remembered for?
   What statement would I want on my tombstone?
   How would I like my character or job reference to read?
   How would I like my financial net worth statement to read?
   How much freedom from anxiety, insecurity, dependency, do I want?
   What-Who-How have I committed myself to?

Affordability:
Even if you are financially destitute, you can provide yourself with a time management system.
Scrap letter or bond paper, used on one side is often available from businesses, schools or libraries. Some have cutting boards which you can use to trim the pages to shirt pocket size or any of an number of notebook or briefcase sizes. By using a coloured piece of paper with the clear side facing out, you can provide front and back covers. Use one page for each day.

Assemble into books of 7, 12 or 14 pages according to your needs and desires.
The top, side, or upper left corner can be secured with staples. A ballpoint pen can be purchased for less than 20 cents. At the top of each page write a 4-part date: day of the week, calendar month, calendar day, and year. Down the left margin, note hourly references for the day (modify as required). As each day passes, fold over the lower or upper outside corner of the page and tear off. This will always provide you with ready access to the current day. Note on the appropriate pages all of your current obligations and routine activities.

Now, using your goals, set aside periods of time for expanding your business and increasing your skills. Practise being flexible and able to negotiate: some activities demand immediate attention; others require negotiation; still others are freely open to choice. This is basic time management. The more you practise it, the more you gain the benefits. More formalized and extensive methods of time management exchange convenience for cost. Some are more cost effective than others and some are more relevant than others to your current and future requirements.
Expect to make changes and improvements.

Other product considerations by approximate unit cost include:

 75 cents to $2.00 spiral ring notepad
    $4.00 to $6.00 multi-ring small sheet binder and refill
$ 14.00 to $140.00 Grand & Toy or Business Depot organizers
$120.00 to $160.00 NCI time management system
$ 15.00 to $250.00    Daytimer organizers
    ??  to $450.00    specialty systems

Units may consist of 48 pages in one book or can range up to a binder with multiple sections, dividers, booklets, indexes, calendars, planners - suitable for a month or a year. Units may require total, partial or minimal replacement as you move from one time duration to the next.

Choose your Time Management System according to what is relevant for you now and upgrade or downgrade according to changes in your requirements. Choose a degree of complexity according to your amount of experience and relative to what you need to be effective in pursuing your goals and chosen career or business.

Career or business choice:
The degree of people contact and variability present in your activities will influence the degree of planning which will be relevant for you to be effective. That is, if you are single, without family, employed for a salary, working routine hours, with no desire for improvement or advancement, have pre-designated vacation times, travel mass transit, and assemble a product which requires little or no supervision - your requirement for time management may be small.

Rather, if you are married or have a family, are self-employed or employed on the basis of payment related to profitable productivity, tend to work varying daily and weekly durations, have difficulty arranging "spare" time, must travel by a variety of methods and arrange, complete, market and deliver your product or service through interaction with other people - you NEED a time management system.

Current complexity of your lifestyle -
Plan what is important to you.
If it isn't important, it won't get done. The only time you don't require a time management system to be effective is when you have minimal responsibility, minimal capital, a simplicity of lifestyle, positive self-directedness, independence, self-control, considerably developed time management patterns from experience, and a high commitment to Spiritual Guidance. Few people have these characteristics or choose to live such a lifestyle.

Some possibilities for importance include:
    necessities: sleep, nourishment, cleanliness;
       intimacy: shared activities, conversation and time;
         family: group activities, discussions, responsibilities;
          money: projects, contracts, production, task completion;
         social: relatives, religion, networking, friends, associates;
       personal: prayer, meditation, reflection, patience, joy;
      preferred: security, safety, transportation, vacation.

      Time management options which encourage a consideration of the above include:
    • your awareness of what is important to you;
    • time management modules to help you tie it all together.

Additional modules or units may be separate from the main time management journal:
    * address, phone, fax and e-mail book;
    * business card file, sheets, or pockets;
    * long-term planning booklet (ie. 5-year);
    * profile sheets of prospects and contacts;
    * delegation schedules (who to call in an emergency);
    * portfolio or binder to contain your personal system.

WILLS -
Instructions for the care of your remains and the dispersal of your capital and your material belongings following your physical death comprise a document termed a WILL. Essentially, it is a description of what you would will to happen when you die. A will can be very constructive for it can -

      a) Have you acknowledge the uncertainty of your future;
      b) Supply evidence of your stable or changing life;
      c) Encourage a periodic reflection of your life goals;
      d) Enable an evaluation of your progress toward success;
      e) Provide financial assistance for your dependents;
      f) Allow for an expression of your concern for others;
      g) Remove confusion and anxiety from those left behind;
      h) Act as a test of your attained degree of spirituality;
      i) Permit repayment of outstanding debts;
      j) Allow for the expression of your preference for disposal;
      k) Prevent conflict between those who want keepsakes;
      l) Ensure that your functional items benefit those who are needy;
      m) Affirm to you whether you have spent/invested wisely, or, foolishly.

In greater detail, these are some of your challenges and options:

a) Have you acknowledged the uncertainty of your future;
By drawing up a will, you are acknowledging that you are not going to live forever, yet you want to exert some influence over the future whether you are present or not. A will is like a business plan or a set of life goals which can be utilized if you become absent.

b) Supply evidence of your stable or changing life;
A will should be revised as often as there are major personal, social, financial or other changes in your life. At such times, many individuals do not have the sense of self-control and focus to remember to do this; therefore, schedule a review of your will once every year. A review can confirm the present relevance or modify it to make it relevant. This may only be an examination that you make by yourself. The requisitioning of professional paid services may not be relevant, or, useful.

c) Encourage a periodic reflection of your life goals;
Few people set out career and life goals for themselves. Many of those who do, and who review them periodically, tend to have a better success at reaching such goals than others who simply never become or stay focussed. Making or revising a will provides you with the opportunity to affirm or change such goals. These may be an extension of our spiritual and/or materialistic values. We may be reaffirming that we are frequently requesting and following Spiritual Guidance with a Trust and Faith in the direction and choices which such indicates is best for us.

d) Enable an evaluation of your progress toward success;
While evaluating what you have and what you could influence even if you were dead, it is often helpful in increasing our awareness to evaluate where we are now. That provides us with a reference as to how we are progressing toward our goals and where there may be any shortcomings. Both a WILL and GOALS may be progressing as intended, or, either positive or negative changes can be acknowledged and given timely attention to, if beneficial.

e) Provide financial assistance for your dependents;
A will can ensure that your dependents are assisted as much as you would have liked to provide if you were still alive. Without a will - any monies, capital investments, material and sentimental possessions, and insurance can be retained by the government or primarily dispensed to your creditors with the remainder being divided by strife between relatives. If you have little capital or possessions, a death benefit term life insurance policy can enable you to substantially change the material future for one or more persons, organizations, or, a combination.

Life insurance proceeds can be advanced to one person, a trust, a group of persons, a foundation - either solely or in combination with the amounts being determined according to percentage or specific dollar amount. Often, specification by percentages allows for variable expenses, debts, and adminitrative fees, as well as suggested, expected (utility bills and rentals), and promised repayments, financial investment and property sales ... to be finalized without creating confusion between beneficiaries and for an executor. Sentimental articles are often discarded or become the subject of controversy unless you have specified in a will who you "will" to have them. Monies and material goods can be bequeathed with advisories or requests attached to them.

f) Allow for an expression of your concern for others;
A WILL need not only divide your material possessions or your insurance proceeds.
Indeed, you may not possess much of either of these and still find a will constructive.
Statements of forgiveness, regret, love, hope, remorse, and commitment may be stated with the knowledge that those named in the document will be invited to the reading and hear what you have noted.

While all of these expressions would best have been conveyed during one's lifetime, and may have been, the reading of your will can add a wider awareness and acknowledgement to such willed sentiments, and, if such were rejected or difficult to deliver earlier - this may present an easier manner.

g) Remove confusion and anxiety from those left behind;
When you die, someone will have to make funeral and burial arrangements for you.
It is illegal in North American and some other countries, for anyone to simply dump your body somewhere or for them to dig a grave for you on private or public property. If you die penniless, many municipalities have pauper's burial facilities which range from pickup of the body, provision of a basic container and internment in a municipal cemetery - to a basic grant of monies to cover the cost of an inexpensive private burial. It only takes a phone call or two to determine what is available and how one would utilize such a service. Making this information easily available in the event of your death saves those around you a considerable degree of turmoil and confusion and expense.

If you are more materially advantaged than many others, there are many memorial societies which will provide you with an outline and listing of a wide range of services and options. These may be chosen at any time, and modified as you wish. Payment can be made in advance, by degrees, or directly from your will or other funds. Some governments provide a basic death benefit to all citizens who have paid into a national pension or insurance program, provided the survivors request it.

Many people are preoccupied by a variety of memories and emotions at the death of an individual who has influenced their lives. If you provide instructions to assist them in your disposal, you will be assisting them in their grieving and enabling your funeral ceremony, however simple or complex, to be experienced by them with a degree of reverence.

h) Act as a test of your attained degree of spirituality;
How you word and structure your will, and whether you have one - is an indication of your spiritual abilities. Without a WILL, you are indicating that you have been so self-obsessed that you have no concern about leaving a great mess for others to clean up. Leaving a WILL in which you use anger, revenge, humiliation, shame, and hatred to guide your bequests and your statements - demonstrates that you have been unsuccessful in even trying to attain a semblance of spiritual strength.

Spiritually, you owe the most to those who have willingly sacrificed for your benefit, who have shared their joy and happiness with you, who have tried to ease your way through difficult times, who have shown spiritual strength in their contact with you. You change the world by whatever action you chose. Encouraging and showing appreciation for those who make the world more spiritual by their presence increases that presence.

i) Permit repayment of outstanding debts;
As times become increasingly materially disadvantageous for an increasing number of persons, debt loads have increased. If the financial source has been fair to you by risking capital with you, and, if you have been honest with them, and, in turn they have been compassionate and understanding and helpful to you in your efforts to repay them - then you have a spiritual obligation to make every effort to see them fairly compensated at your death, if full repayment has not been possible beforehand. A will can define who should do this for you and what source of funds is intended for this purpose. Ideally, you should reduce your debts and avoid further indebtedness so that such a situation does not become destructive to your peace.

j) Allow for the expression of your preference for disposal.
In some countries, if you were to die and had not friends nor relatives nearby to attend to your body, it would be left to rot, it would be left for wild animals to dispose of, or, nearby persons would burn it - to get rid of the stench and the baiting influence on some wild animals. In other countries, the state might bury you and repossess your property for compensation. Of the options available to you and within the boundaries of local regulations, you may chose or prefer something traditional, ecological, economical, dramatic, religious. Your choices may significantly influence how you will be remembered by those who knew you and interacted with you.

Some persons have a personal or religious preference of being buried in a simple container, an ornate coffin, a crypt, at sea, after cremation, or in a vault. If you have not made arrangements for your disposal and have not left some communication for others to be guided by - expect the worst, for it will likely happen.

Human population size and Ecological Balance.
During mid-2013, a group of researchers re-united to assess current human-Earth dynamics from the perspective of self-sustaining patterns. They determined that the level of population which the resources and ecology of the Earth could sustain, long-term, was 1.5 billion persons .. dependant upon moderate energy use demands relative to current activities and dependencies. With highly minimized energy use ... that number could be raised to 2 billion. There were no practical religious, political, or social proposals that would decrease the 2013 population volume from almost 7 billion persons to either of these optimums, within a time period that would be constructive.
